1 As the chorus of 'Mahanaim.' How beautiful were thy feet with sandals, O daughter of Nadib. The turnings of thy sides [are] as ornaments, Work of the hands of an artificer.
1 ¡CUÁN hermosos son tus pies en los calzados, oh hija de príncipe! Los contornos de tus muslos son como joyas, obra de mano de excelente maestro.
2 Thy waist [is] a basin of roundness, It lacketh not the mixture, Thy body a heap of wheat, fenced with lilies,
2 Tu ombligo, [como] una taza redonda, que no le falta bebida. Tu vientre, [como] montón de trigo, cercado de lirios.
3 Thy two breasts as two young ones, twins of a roe,
3 Tus dos pechos, como dos cabritos mellizos de gama.
4 Thy neck as a tower of the ivory, Thine eyes pools in Heshbon, near the gate of Bath-Rabbim, Thy face as a tower of Lebanon looking to Damascus,
4 Tu cuello, como torre de marfil; tus ojos, [como] las pesqueras de Hesbón junto á la puerta de Batrabbim; tu nariz, como la torre del Líbano, que mira hacia Damasco.
5 Thy head upon thee as Carmel, And the locks of thy head as purple, The king is bound with the flowings!
5 Tu cabeza encima de ti, como el Carmelo; y el cabello de tu cabeza, como la púrpura del rey ligada en los corredores.
6 How fair and how pleasant hast thou been, O love, in delights.
6 ¡Qué hermosa eres, y cuán suave, oh amor deleitoso!
7 This thy stature hath been like to a palm, And thy breasts to clusters.
7 ¡Y tu estatura es semejante á la palma, y tus pechos á los racimos!
8 I said, 'Let me go up on the palm, Let me lay hold on its boughs, Yea, let thy breasts be, I pray thee, as clusters of the vine, And the fragrance of thy face as citrons,
8 Yo dije: Subiré á la palma, asiré sus ramos: y tus pechos serán ahora como racimos de vid, y el olor de tu boca como de manzanas;
9 And thy palate as the good wine — 'Flowing to my beloved in uprightness, Strengthening the lips of the aged!
9 Y tu paladar como el buen vino, que se entra á mi amado suavemente, y hace hablar los labios de los viejos.
10 I [am] my beloved's, and on me [is] his desire.
10 Yo soy de mi amado, y conmigo tiene su contentamiento.
11 Come, my beloved, we go forth to the field,
11 Ven, oh amado mío, salgamos al campo, moremos en las aldeas.
12 We lodge in the villages, we go early to the vineyards, We see if the vine hath flourished, The sweet smelling-flower hath opened. The pomegranates have blossomed, There do I give to thee my loves;
12 Levantémonos de mañana á las viñas; veamos si brotan las vides, si se abre el cierne, si han florecido los granados; allí te daré mis amores.
13 The mandrakes have given fragrance, And at our openings all pleasant things, New, yea, old, my beloved, I laid up for thee!
13 Las mandrágoras han dado olor, y á nuestras puertas hay toda suerte de dulces frutas, nuevas y añejas, que para ti, oh amado mío, he guardado.
