1 Одговор благ утишава гнев, а реч прека подиже срдњу.
1 LA blanda respuesta quita la ira: mas la palabra áspera hace subir el furor.
1 A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.
2 Језик мудрих људи украшава знање, а уста безумних просипају безумље.
2 La lengua de los sabios adornará la sabiduría: mas la boca de los necios hablará sandeces.
2 The tongue of the wise commends knowledge, but the mouths of fools gush out folly.
3 Очи су Господње на сваком месту гледајући зле и добре.
3 Los ojos de Jehová están en todo lugar, mirando á los malos y á los buenos.
3 Yahweh’s eyes are everywhere, keeping watch on the evil and the good.
4 Здрав је језик дрво животно, а опачина с њега кршење од ветра.
4 La sana lengua es árbol de vida: mas la perversidad en ella es quebrantamiento de espíritu.
4 A gentle tongue is a tree of life, but deceit in it crushes the spirit.
5 Луд се руга наставом оца свог; а ко прима укор бива паметан.
5 El necio menosprecia el consejo de su padre: mas el que guarda la corrección, vendrá á ser cuerdo.
5 A fool despises his father’s correction, but he who heeds reproof shows prudence.
6 У кући праведниковој има много блага; а у дохотку је безбожниковом расап.
6 En la casa del justo hay gran provisión; empero turbación en las ganancias del impío.
6 In the house of the righteous is much treasure, but the income of the wicked brings trouble.
7 Усне мудрих људи сеју знање, а срце безумничко не чини тако.
7 Los labios de los sabios esparcen sabiduría: mas no así el corazón de los necios.
7 The lips of the wise spread knowledge; not so with the heart of fools.
8 Жртва је безбожничка гад Господу, а молитва праведних угодна Му је.
8 El sacrificio de los impíos es abominación á Jehová: mas la oración de los rectos es su gozo.
8 The sacrifice made by the wicked is an abomination to Yahweh, but the prayer of the upright is his delight.
9 Гад је Господу пут безбожников; а ко иде за правдом, њега љуби.
9 Abominación es á Jehová el camino del impío: mas él ama al que sigue justicia.
9 The way of the wicked is an abomination to Yahweh, but he loves him who follows after righteousness.
10 Карање је зло ономе ко оставља пут; који мрзи на укор, умреће.
10 La reconvención es molesta al que deja el camino: y el que aborreciere la corrección, morirá.
10 There is stern discipline for one who forsakes the way. Whoever hates reproof shall die.
11 Пакао је и погибао пред Господом, а камоли срца синова човечијих.
11 El infierno y la perdición están delante de Jehová: ¡cuánto más los corazones de los hombres!
11 Sheol and Abaddon are before Yahweh— how much more then the hearts of the children of men!
12 Подсмевач не љуби оног ко га кори, нити иде к мудрима.
12 El escarnecedor no ama al que le reprende; ni se allega á los sabios.
12 A scoffer doesn’t love to be reproved; he will not go to the wise.
13 Весело срце весели лице, а жалост у срцу обара дух.
13 El corazón alegre hermosea el rostro: mas por el dolor de corazón el espíritu se abate.
13 A glad heart makes a cheerful face, but an aching heart breaks the spirit.
14 Срце разумно тражи знање, а уста безумних људи наслађују се безумљем.
14 El corazón entendido busca la sabiduría: mas la boca de los necios pace necedad.
14 The heart of one who has understanding seeks knowledge, but the mouths of fools feed on folly.
15 Сви су дани невољникови зли; а ко је веселог срца, на гозби је једнако.
15 Todos los días del afligido son trabajosos: mas el de corazón contento [tiene] un convite continuo.
15 All the days of the afflicted are wretched, but one who has a cheerful heart enjoys a continual feast.
16 Боље је мало са страхом Господњим него велико благо с немиром.
16 Mejor es lo poco con el temor de Jehová, que el gran tesoro donde hay turbación.
16 Better is little, with the fear of Yahweh, than great treasure with trouble.
17 Боље је јело од зеља где је љубав него од вола угојена где је мржња.
17 Mejor es la comida de legumbres donde hay amor, que de buey engordado donde hay odio.
17 Better is a dinner of herbs, where love is, than a fattened calf with hatred.
18 Човек гневљив замеће распру; а ко је спор на гнев, утишава свађу.
18 El hombre iracundo mueve contiendas: mas el que tarde se enoja, apaciguará la rencilla.
18 A wrathful man stirs up contention, but one who is slow to anger appeases strife.
19 Пут је лењога као ограда од трња, а стаза је праведних насута.
19 El camino del perezoso es como seto de espinos: mas la vereda de los rectos [como] una calzada.
19 The way of the sluggard is like a thorn patch, but the path of the upright is a highway.
20 Мудар је син радост оцу, а човек безуман презире матер своју.
20 El hijo sabio alegra al padre: mas el hombre necio menosprecia á su madre.
20 A wise son makes a father glad, but a foolish man despises his mother.
21 Безумље је радост безумнику, а разуман човек ходи право.
21 La necedad es alegría al falto de entendimiento: mas el hombre entendido enderezará su proceder.
21 Folly is joy to one who is void of wisdom, but a man of understanding keeps his way straight.
22 Намере се расипају кад нема савета, а тврдо стоје где је много саветника.
22 Los pensamientos son frustrados donde no hay consejo; mas en la multitud de consejeros se afirman.
22 Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established.
23 Радује се човек одговором уста својих, и реч у време како је добра!
23 Alégrase el hombre con la respuesta de su boca: y la palabra á su tiempo, ¡cuán buena es!
23 Joy comes to a man with the reply of his mouth. How good is a word at the right time!
24 Пут к животу иде горе разумноме да се сачува од пакла одоздо.
24 El camino de la vida [es] hacia arriba al entendido, para apartarse del infierno abajo.
24 The path of life leads upward for the wise, to keep him from going downward to Sheol.
25 Господ раскопава кућу поноситима, а међу удовици утврђује.
25 Jehová asolará la casa de los soberbios: mas él afirmará el término de la viuda.
25 Yahweh will uproot the house of the proud, but he will keep the widow’s borders intact.
26 Мрске су Господу мисли зле, а беседе чистих миле су.
26 Abominación son á Jehová los pensamientos del malo: mas las expresiones de los limpios [son] limpias.
26 Yahweh detests the thoughts of the wicked, but the thoughts of the pure are pleasing.
27 Лакомац затире своју кућу, а ко мрзи на поклоне жив ће бити.
27 Alborota su casa el codicioso: mas el que aborrece las dádivas vivirá.
27 He who is greedy for gain troubles his own house, but he who hates bribes will live.
28 Срце праведниково премишља шта ће говорити, а уста безбожничка ригају зло.
28 El corazón del justo piensa para responder: mas la boca de los impíos derrama malas cosas.
28 The heart of the righteous weighs answers, but the mouth of the wicked gushes out evil.
29 Далеко је Господ од безбожних, а молитву праведних чује.
29 Lejos está Jehová de los impíos: mas él oye la oración de los justos.
29 Yahweh is far from the wicked, but he hears the prayer of the righteous.
30 Вид очни весели срце, добар глас гоји кости.
30 La luz de los ojos alegra el corazón; y la buena fama engorda los huesos.
30 The light of the eyes rejoices the heart. Good news gives health to the bones.
31 Ухо које слуша карање животно наставаће међу мудрима.
31 La oreja que escucha la corrección de vida, entre los sabios morará.
31 The ear that listens to reproof lives, and will be at home among the wise.
32 Ко одбацује наставу, не мари за душу своју; а ко слуша карање, бива разуман.
32 El que tiene en poco la disciplina, menosprecia su alma: mas el que escucha la corrección, tiene entendimiento.
32 He who refuses correction despises his own soul, but he who listens to reproof gets understanding.
33 Страх је Господњи настава к мудрости, и пре славе иде смерност.
33 El temor de Jehová es enseñanza de sabiduría: y delante de la honra [está] la humildad.
33 The fear of Yahweh teaches wisdom. Before honor is humility.
