Tyndale Tyndale New Testament (1534) WEB World English Bible (Classic, with Deuterocanon) 1 We which are stronge ought to beare the fraylnes of them which are weake and not to stonde in oure awne cosaytes.
1 Now we who are strong ought to bear the weaknesses of the weak, and not to please ourselves.
2 Let every man please his neghbour vnto his welth and edyfyinge.
2 Let each one of us please his neighbor for that which is good, to be building him up.
3 For Christ pleased not him selfe: but as it is written. The rebukes of the which rebuked the fell one me. 3 Porque Cristo no se agradó á sí mismo; antes bien, como está escrito: Los vituperios de los que te vituperan, cayeron sobre mí.
3 For even Christ didn’t please himself. But, as it is written, “The reproaches of those who reproached you fell on me.”
4 Whatsoever thinges are written afore tyme are written for oure learnynge that we thorow pacience and comforte of the scripture myght have hope.
4 For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that through perseverance and through encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.
5 The God of pacience and consolacion geve vnto every one of you that ye be lyke mynded one towardes another after the insample of Christ: 5 Mas el Dios de la paciencia y de la consolación os dé que entre vosotros seáis unánimes según Cristo Jesús;
5 Now the God of perseverance and of encouragement grant you to be of the same mind with one another according to Christ Jesus,
6 that ye all agreynge together maye with one mouth prayse God the father of oure Lorde Iesus.
6 that with one accord you may with one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
7 Wherfore receave ye one another as Christ receaved vs to the prayse of God. 7 Por tanto, sobrellevaos los unos á los otros, como también Cristo nos sobrellevó, para gloria de Dios.
7 Therefore accept one another, even as Christ also accepted you, to the glory of God.
8 And I saye that Iesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the trueth of god to conferme the promyses made vnto the fathers.
8 Now I say that Christ has been made a servant of the circumcision for the truth of God, that he might confirm the promises given to the fathers,
9 And let the gentyls prayse god for his mercy as it is written: For this cause I will prayse the amonge the gentyls and synge in thy name.
9 and that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy. As it is written, “Therefore I will give praise to you among the Gentiles and sing to your name.”
10 And agayne, he sayth: reioyse ye gentyles with his people.
10 Again he says, “Rejoice, you Gentiles, with his people.”
11 And agayne, prayse the Lorde all ye gentyls and laude him all nacions.
11 Again, “Praise the Lord, all you Gentiles! Let all the peoples praise him.”
12 And in another place Esaias sayth: ther shalbe the rote of Iesse and he that shall ryse to raygne over the gentyls: in him shall the gentyls trust.
12 Again, Isaiah says, “There will be the root of Jesse, he who arises to rule over the Gentiles; in him the Gentiles will hope.”
13 The God of hope fyll you with all ioye and peace in belevynge: that ye maye be ryche in hope thorowe the power of the holy goost.
13 Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope in the power of the Holy Spirit.
14 I my selfe am full certified of you my brethren that ye youre selves are full of goodnes and filled with all knowledge and are able to exhorte one another.
14 I myself am also persuaded about you, my brothers, that you yourselves are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish others.
15 Neverthelesse brethren I have some what boldly written vnto you as one that putteth you in remembraunce thorow the grace that is geven me of God 15 Mas os he escrito, hermanos, en parte resueltamente, como amonestándoos por la gracia que de Dios me es dada,
15 But I write the more boldly to you in part as reminding you, because of the grace that was given to me by God,
16 that I shuld be the minister of Iesu Christ amonge the gentyls and shuld minister the gladde tydynges of God that the gentyls myght be an acceptable offerynge sanctyfied by the holy goost.
16 that I should be a servant of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles, serving as a priest of the Good News of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be made acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.
17 I have therfore wherof I maye reioyse in Christ Iesu in tho thinges which pertayne to God. 17 Tengo, pues, de qué gloriarme en Cristo Jesús en lo que mira á Dios.
17 I have therefore my boasting in Christ Jesus in things pertaining to God.
18 For I dare not speake of eny of tho thinges which Christ hath not wrought by me to make the gentyls obedient with worde and dede 18 Porque no osaría hablar alguna cosa que Cristo no haya hecho por mí para la obediencia de los Gentiles, con la palabra y con las obras,
18 For I will not dare to speak of any things except those which Christ worked through me for the obedience of the Gentiles, by word and deed,
19 in myghty signes and wonders by the power of the sprete of God: so that from Ierusalem and the costes rounde aboute vnto Illyricum I have fylled all countres with the gladde tydynges of Christ.
19 in the power of signs and wonders, in the power of God’s Spirit; so that from Jerusalem and around as far as to Illyricum, I have fully preached the Good News of Christ;
20 So have I enforsed my selfe to preache the gospell not where Christ was named lest I shuld have bylt on another mannes foundacion: 20 Y de esta manera me esforcé á predicar el evangelio, no donde [antes] Cristo fuese nombrado, por no edificar sobre ajeno fundamento:
20 yes, making it my aim to preach the Good News, not where Christ was already named, that I might not build on another’s foundation.
21 but as it is written: To whom he was not spoken of they shall se: and they that hearde not shall vnderstonde.
21 But, as it is written, “They will see, to whom no news of him came. They who haven’t heard will understand.”
22 For this cause I have bene ofte let to come vnto you: 22 Por lo cual aun he sido impedido muchas veces de venir á vosotros.
22 Therefore also I was hindered these many times from coming to you,
23 but now seynge I have no moare to do in these countres and also have bene desyrous many yeares to come vnto you 23 Mas ahora no teniendo más lugar en estas regiones, y deseando ir á vosotros muchos años há,
23 but now, no longer having any place in these regions, and having these many years a longing to come to you,
24 when I shall take my iorney into spayne I will come to you. I trust to se you in my iorney and to be brought on my waye thither warde by you after that I have somwhat enioyed you.
24 whenever I travel to Spain, I will come to you. For I hope to see you on my journey, and to be helped on my way there by you, if first I may enjoy your company for a while.
25 Now go I vnto Ierusalem and minister vnto the saynctes.
25 But now, I say, I am going to Jerusalem, serving the saints.
26 For it hath pleased them of Macedonia and Achaia to make a certayne distribucion vpo the poore saynctes which are at Ierusalem.
26 For it has been the good pleasure of Macedonia and Achaia to make a certain contribution for the poor among the saints who are at Jerusalem.
27 It hath pleased them verely and their detters are they. For yf the getils be made partetakers of their spirituall thinges their dutie is to minister vnto the in carnall thinges.
27 Yes, it has been their good pleasure, and they are their debtors. For if the Gentiles have been made partakers of their spiritual things, they owe it to them also to serve them in material things.
28 When I have performed this and have brought them this frute sealed. I will come backe agayne by you into Spayne.
28 When therefore I have accomplished this, and have sealed to them this fruit, I will go on by way of you to Spain.
29 And I am sure when I come that I shall come with aboundaunce of the blessinge of the gospell of Christ.
29 I know that when I come to you, I will come in the fullness of the blessing of the Good News of Christ.
30 I beseche you brethren for oure Lorde Iesus Christes sake and for the love of the sprete that ye helpe me in my busynes with youre prayers to God for me 30 Ruégoos empero, hermanos, por el Señor nuestro Jesucristo, y por la caridad del Espíritu, que me ayudéis con oraciones por mí á Dios,
30 Now I beg you, brothers, by our Lord Jesus Christ and by the love of the Spirit, that you strive together with me in your prayers to God for me,
31 that I maye be delyvered from them which beleve not in Iewry and that this my service which I have to Ierusalem maye be accepted of the saynctes 31 Que sea librado de los rebeldes que están en Judea, y que la ofrenda de mi servicio á los santos en Jerusalem sea acepta;
31 that I may be delivered from those who are disobedient in Judea, and that my service which I have for Jerusalem may be acceptable to the saints,
32 that I maye come vnto you with ioye by the will of God and maye with you be refresshed.
32 that I may come to you in joy through the will of God, and together with you, find rest.
33 The God of peace be with you. Amen.
33 Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen.
