28 The rest of the people, the priests, the Levites, the gatekeepers, the singers, the temple servants, and all those who had separated themselves from the peoples of the lands to the law of God, their wives, their sons, and their daughters—everyone who had knowledge and understanding—

29 se unieron a sus hermanos y jefes. Se comprometieron bajo maldición y juramento a seguir la ley de Dios dada por medio de Moisés, siervo de Dios, y a obedecer y cumplir todos los mandamientos del Señor nuestro Señor, sus decisiones y sus estatutos.

29 Adhiriéronse á sus hermanos, sus principales, y vinieron en la protestación y en el juramento de que andarían en la ley de Dios, que fué dada por mano de Moisés siervo de Dios, y que guardarían y cumplirían todos los mandamientos de Jehová nuestro Señor, y sus juicios y sus estatutos;

29 joined with their brothers, their nobles, and entered into a curse and into an oath, to walk in God’s law, which was given by Moses the servant of God, and to observe and do all the commandments of Yahweh our Lord, and his ordinances and his statutes;

30 Prometieron no dar sus hijas en matrimonio a los pueblos de otras tierras ni tomar las hijas de esos pueblos para sus hijos.

30 Y que no daríamos nuestras hijas á los pueblos de la tierra, ni tomaríamos sus hijas para nuestros hijos.

30 and that we would not give our daughters to the peoples of the land, nor take their daughters for our sons;

31 También prometieron que, si los pueblos de otras tierras llevaban mercancías o alimentos para vender en sábado, no comprarían nada de ellos en sábado ni en ningún día santo. Cada séptimo año dejarían descansar la tierra y cancelarían toda deuda.

31 Asimismo, que si los pueblos de la tierra trajesen á vender mercaderías y comestibles en día de sábado, nada tomaríamos de ellos en sábado, ni en día santificado; y que dejaríamos el año séptimo, con remisión de toda deuda.

31 and if the peoples of the land bring wares or any grain on the Sabbath day to sell, that we would not buy from them on the Sabbath, or on a holy day; and that we would forego the seventh year crops and the exaction of every debt.

32 También se comprometieron a dar cada año un tercio de siclo para el servicio del templo de nuestro Dios:

32 Impusímonos además por ley el cargo de contribuir cada año con la tercera parte de un siclo, para la obra de la casa de nuestro Dios;

32 Also we made ordinances for ourselves, to charge ourselves yearly with the third part of a shekel for the service of the house of our God:

33 para el pan sagrado, la ofrenda de harina regular, el holocausto regular, las ofrendas de los sábados, las lunas nuevas y las fiestas establecidas, las ofrendas santas, las ofrendas por el pecado para hacer expiación por Israel y todo el servicio del templo de nuestro Dios.

33 Para el pan de la proposición, y para la ofrenda continua, y para el holocausto continuo, de los sábados, y de las nuevas lunas, y de las festividades, y para las santificaciones y sacrificios por el pecado para expiar á Israel, y para toda la obra de la casa de nuestro Dios.

33 for the show bread, for the continual meal offering, for the continual burnt offering, for the Sabbaths, for the new moons, for the set feasts, for the holy things, for the sin offerings to make atonement for Israel, and for all the work of the house of our God.

34 Los sacerdotes, los levitas y el pueblo echaron suertes para decidir qué familias llevarían cada año, en las fechas señaladas, la ofrenda de leña al templo de nuestro Dios, para quemarla sobre el altar del Señor nuestro Dios, como está escrito en la ley.

34 Echamos también las suertes, los sacerdotes, los Levitas, y el pueblo, acerca de la ofrenda de la leña, para traerla á la casa de nuestro Dios, según las casas de nuestros padres, en los tiempos determinados cada un año, para quemar sobre el altar de Jehová nuestro Dios, como está escrito en la ley.

34 We, the priests, the Levites, and the people, cast lots for the wood offering, to bring it into the house of our God, according to our fathers’ houses, at times appointed year by year, to burn on Yahweh our God’s altar, as it is written in the law;

35 También se comprometieron a llevar cada año al templo del Señor los primeros frutos de la tierra y los primeros frutos de toda clase de árboles.

35 Y que cada año traeríamos las primicias de nuestra tierra, y las primicias de todo fruto de todo árbol, á la casa de Jehová:

35 and to bring the first fruits of our ground and the first fruits of all fruit of all kinds of trees, year by year, to Yahweh’s house;

36 Llevarían también al templo de nuestro Dios los primogénitos de sus hijos y de su ganado, como está escrito en la ley, y los primeros nacidos de sus vacas, ovejas y cabras, para entregarlos a los sacerdotes que servían en el templo de nuestro Dios.

36 Asimismo los primogénitos de nuestros hijos y de nuestras bestias, como está escrito en la ley; y [que] traeríamos los primogénitos de nuestras vacas y de nuestras ovejas á la casa de nuestro Dios, á los sacerdotes que ministran en la casa de nuestro Dios:

36 also the firstborn of our sons and of our livestock, as it is written in the law, and the firstborn of our herds and of our flocks, to bring to the house of our God, to the priests who minister in the house of our God;

37 Llevarían a los sacerdotes, a los depósitos del templo de nuestro Dios, las primeras porciones de su harina, sus ofrendas elevadas, los frutos de toda clase de árboles, el vino y el aceite. También entregarían a los levitas el diezmo de los productos de la tierra, porque los levitas recibían los diezmos en todos los pueblos donde se cultivaba la tierra.

37 [Que] traeríamos también las primicias de nuestras masas, y nuestras ofrendas, y del fruto de todo árbol, del vino y del aceite, á los sacerdotes, á las cámaras de la casa de nuestro Dios, y el diezmo de nuestra tierra á los Levitas; y que los Levitas recibirían las décimas de nuestras labores en todas las ciudades:

37 and that we should bring the first fruits of our dough, our wave offerings, the fruit of all kinds of trees, and the new wine and the oil, to the priests, to the rooms of the house of our God; and the tithes of our ground to the Levites; for they, the Levites, take the tithes in all our farming villages.

38 Un sacerdote descendiente de Aarón estaría con los levitas cuando estos recibieran los diezmos. Los levitas llevarían la décima parte de los diezmos al templo de nuestro Dios, a las habitaciones del almacén.

38 Y que estaría el sacerdote hijo de Aarón con los Levitas, cuando los Levitas recibirían el diezmo: y que los Levitas llevarían el diezmo del diezmo á la casa de nuestro Dios, á las cámaras en la casa del tesoro.

38 The priest, the descendent of Aaron, shall be with the Levites when the Levites take tithes. The Levites shall bring up the tithe of the tithes to the house of our God, to the rooms, into the treasure house.

39 Los israelitas y los levitas llevarían a esas habitaciones las ofrendas elevadas de grano, vino y aceite. Allí estaban los objetos del santuario, y allí servían los sacerdotes, los porteros y los cantores. Así no abandonarían el cuidado del templo de nuestro Dios.

39 Porque á las cámaras han de llevar los hijos de Israel y los hijos de Leví la ofrenda del grano, del vino, y del aceite; y allí estarán los vasos del santuario, y los sacerdotes que ministran, y los porteros, y los cantores; y no abandonaremos la casa de nuestro Dios.

39 For the children of Israel and the children of Levi shall bring the wave offering of the grain, of the new wine, and of the oil, to the rooms where the vessels of the sanctuary are, and the priests who minister, with the gatekeepers and the singers. We will not forsake the house of our God.
