1 And the princes of the people dwelt at Jerusalem: but the rest of the people cast lots, to take one part in ten to dwell in Jerusalem the holy city, and nine parts in the other cities.

1 Y HABITARON los príncipes del pueblo en Jerusalem; mas el resto del pueblo echó suertes para traer uno de diez que morase en Jerusalem, ciudad santa, y las nueve partes en las [otras] ciudades.

2 And the people blessed all the men that willingly offered themselves to dwell in Jerusalem.

2 Y bendijo el pueblo á todos los varones que voluntariamente se ofrecieron á morar en Jerusalem.

3 These therefore are the chief men of the province, who dwelt in Jerusalem, and in the cities of Juda. And every one dwelt in his possession, in their cities: Israel, the priests, the Levites, the Nathinites, and the children of the servants of Solomon.

3 Y estos son los principales de la provincia que moraron en Jerusalem; mas en las ciudades de Judá habitaron cada uno en su posesión en sus ciudades, de Israel, de los sacerdotes, y Levitas, y Nethineos, y de los hijos de los siervos de Salomón.

4 And in Jerusalem there dwelt some of the children of Juda, and some of the children of Benjamin: of the children of Juda, Athaias the son of Aziam, the son of Zacharias, the son of Amarias, the son of Saphatias, the son of Malaleel: of the sons of Phares,

4 En Jerusalem pues habitaron de los hijos de Judá, y de los hijos de Benjamín. De los hijos de Judá: Athaías hijo de Uzzías, hijo de Zacarías, hijo de Amarías, hijo de Sephatías, hijo de Mahalaleel, de los hijos de Phares;

5 Maasia the son of Baruch, the son of Cholhoza, the son of Hazia, the son of Adaia, the son of Joiarib, the son of Zacharias, the son of the Silonite:

5 Y Maasías hijo de Baruch, hijo de Colhoze, hijo de Hazaías, hijo de Adaías, hijo de Joiarib, hijo de Zacarías, hijo de Siloni.

6 All these the sons of Phares, who dwelt in Jerusalem, were four hundred sixty-eight valiant men.

6 Todos los hijos de Phares que moraron en Jerusalem, fueron cuatrocientos setenta y ocho hombres fuertes.

7 And these are the children of Benjamin: Sellum the son of Mosollam, the son of Joed, the son of Phadaia, the son of Colaia, the son of Masia, the son of Etheel, the son of Isaia.

7 Y estos son los hijos de Benjamín: Salú hijo de Mesullam, hijo de Joed, hijo de Pedaías, hijo de Colaías, hijo de Maaseías, hijo de Ithiel, hijo de Jesaía.

8 And after him Gebbai, Sellai, nine hundred twenty-eight.

8 Y tras él, Gabbai, Sallai, novecientos veinte y ocho.

9 And Joel the son of Zechri their ruler, and Judas the son of Senua was second over the city.

9 Y Joel hijo de Zichri, era prefecto de ellos, y Jehudas hijo de Senua, el segundo en la ciudad.

10 And of the priests Idaia the son of Joarib, Jachin,

10 De los sacerdotes: Jedaías hijo de Joiarib, Jachîn,

11 Saraia the son of Helcias, the son of Mosollam, the son of Sadoc, the son of Meraioth, the son of Achitob the prince of the house of God,

11 Seraías hijo de Hilcías, hijo de Mesullam, hijo de Sadoc, hijo de Meraioth, hijo de Ahitub, príncipe de la casa de Dios,

12 And their brethren that do the works of the temple: eight hundred twenty-two. And Adaia the son of Jeroham, the son of Phelelia, the son of Amsi, the son of Zacharias, the son of Pheshur, the son of Melchias,

12 Y sus hermanos los que hacían la obra de la casa, ochocientos veintidós: y Adaías hijo de Jeroham, hijo de Pelalías, hijo de Amsi, hijo de Zacarías, hijo de Pashur, hijo de Malachías,

13 And his brethren the chiefs of the fathers: two hundred forty-two. And Amassai the son of Azreel, the son of Ahazi, the son of Mosollamoth, the son of Emmer,

13 Y sus hermanos, príncipes de familias, doscientos cuarenta y dos: y Amasai hijo de Azarael, hijo de Azai, hijo de Mesillemoth, hijo de Immer,

14 And their brethren who were very mighty, a hundred twenty-eight: and their ruler Zabdiel son of the mighty.

14 Y sus hermanos, hombres de grande vigor, ciento veintiocho: jefe de los cuales era Zabdiel, hijo de Gedolim.

15 And of the Levites Semeia the son of Hasub, the son of Azaricam, the son of Hasabia, the son of Boni,

15 Y de los Levitas: Semaías hijo de Hassub, hijo de Azricam, hijo de Hasabías, hijo de Buni;

16 And Sabathai and Jozabed, who were over all the outward business of the house of God, of the princes of the Levites,

16 Y Sabethai y Jozabad, de los principales de los Levitas, sobrestantes de la obra exterior de la casa de Dios;

17 And Mathania the son of Micha, the son of Zebedei, the son of Asaph, was the principal man to praise, and to give glory in prayer, and Becbecia the second, one of his brethren, and Abda the son of Samua, the son of Galal, the son of Idithun.

17 Y Mattanías hijo de Michâ, hijo de Zabdi, hijo de Asaph, el principal, el que empezaba las alabanzas y acción de gracias al tiempo de la oración; y Bacbucías el segundo de entre sus hermanos; y Abda hijo de Samua, hijo de Galal, hijo de Jeduthún.

18 All the Levites in the holy city were two hundred eighty-four.

18 Todos los Levitas en la santa ciudad fueron doscientos ochenta y cuatro.

19 And the porters, Accub, Telmon, and their brethren, who kept the doors: a hundred seventy-two.

19 Y los porteros, Accub, Talmón, y sus hermanos, guardas en las puertas, ciento setenta y dos.

20 And the rest of Israel, the priests and the Levites were in all the cities of Juda, every man in his possession.

20 Y el resto de Israel, de los sacerdotes, de los Levitas, en todas las ciudades de Judá, cada uno en su heredad.

21 And the Nathinites, that dwelt in Ophel, and Siaha, and Gaspha of the Nathinites.

21 Y los Nethineos habitaban en Ophel; y Siha y Gispa eran sobre los Nethineos.

22 And the overseer of the Levites in Jerusalem, was Azzi the son of Bani, the son of Hasabia, the son of Mathania, the son of Micha. Of the sons of Asaph, were the singing men in the ministry of the house of God.

22 Y el prepósito de los Levitas en Jerusalem era Uzzi hijo de Bani, hijo de Hasabías, hijo de Mattanías, hijo de Michâ de los cantores los hijos de Asaph, sobre la obra de la casa de Dios.

23 For the king’s commandment was concerning them, and an order among the singing men day by day.

23 Porque había mandamiento del rey acerca de ellos, y determinación acerca de los cantores para cada día.

24 And Phathahia the son of Mesezebel of the children of Zara the son of Juda was at the hand of the king, in all matters concerning the people,

24 Y Pethahías hijo de Mesezabel, de los hijos de Zerah hijo de Judá, estaba á la mano del rey en todo negocio del pueblo.

25 And in the houses through all their countries. Of the children of Juda so dwelt at Cariath-Arbe, and in the villages thereof: and at Dibon, and in the villages thereof: and at Cabseel, and in the villages thereof.

25 Y tocante á las aldeas y sus tierras, algunos de los hijos de Judá habitaron en Chîriat-arba y sus aldeas, y en Dibón y sus aldeas, y en Jecabseel y sus aldeas;

26 And at Jesue, and at Molada, and Bethphaleth,

26 Y en Jesuá, Moladah, y en Beth-pelet;

27 And at Hasersual, and at Bersabee, and in the villages thereof,

27 Y en Hasar-sual, y en Beer-seba, y en sus aldeas;

28 And at Siceleg, and at Mochona, and in the villages thereof,

28 Y en Siclag, y en Mechôna, y en sus aldeas;

29 And at Remmon, and at Saraa, and at Jerimuth,

29 Y en En-rimmón, y en Soreah y en Jarmuth;

30 Zanoa, Odollam, and in their villages, at Lachis and its dependencies, and at Azeca and the villages thereof. And they dwelt from Bersabee unto the valley of Ennom.

30 Zanoah, Adullam, y en sus aldeas; en Lachîs y sus tierras, Azeca y sus aldeas. Y habitaron desde Beer-seba hasta el valle de Hinnom.

31 And the children of Benjamin, from Geba, at Mechmas, and at Hai, and at Bethel, and in the villages thereof,

31 Y los hijos de Benjamín desde Geba [habitaron] en Michmas, y Aía, y en Beth-el y sus aldeas;

32 At Anathoth, Nob, Anania,

32 En Anathoth, Nob, Ananiah;

33 Asor, Rama, Gethaim,

33 Hasor, Rama, Gitthaim;

34 Hadid, Seboim, and Neballat, Led,

34 Hadid, Seboim, Neballath;

35 And Ono the valley of craftsmen.

35 Lod, y Ono, valle de los artífices.

36 And of the Levites were portions of Juda and Benjamin.
