1 ΛΟΓΟΙ Αμὼς οἳ ἐγένοντο ἐν Ἀκκαρεὶμ ἐν Θεκουὲ, οὓς εἶδεν ὑπὲρ Ἱερουσαλὴμ, ἐν ἡμέραις Ὀζίου βασιλέως Ἰούδα, καὶ ἐν ἡμέραις Ἱεροβοὰμ τοῦ Ἰωὰς βασιλέως Ἰσραὴλ, πρὸ δύο ἐτῶν τοῦ σεισμοῦ.
1 LAS palabras de Amós, que fué entre los pastores de Tecoa, las cuales vió acerca de Israel en días de Uzzía rey de Judá, y en días de Jeroboam hijo de Joas rey de Israel, dos años antes del terremoto.
1 The words of Amos, who was among the herdsmen of Tekoa, which he saw concerning Israel in the days of Uzziah king of Judah and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel, two years before the earthquake.
2 Καὶ εἶπε, Κύριος ἐκ Σιὼν ἐφθέγξατο, καὶ ἐξ Ἱερουσαλὴμ ἔδωκε φωνὴν αὐτοῦ· καὶ ἐπένθησαν αἱ νομαὶ τῶν ποιμένων, καὶ ἐξηράνθη ἡ κορυφὴ τοῦ Καρμήλου.
2 Y dijo: Jehová bramará desde Sión, y dará su voz desde Jerusalem; y las estancias de los pastores se enlutarán, y secaráse la cumbre del Carmelo.
2 He said: “Yahweh will roar from Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the pastures of the shepherds will mourn, and the top of Carmel will wither.”
3 Καὶ εἶπε Κύριος, ἐπὶ ταῖς τρισὶν ἀσεβείαις Δαμασκοῦ, καὶ ἐπὶ ταῖς τέσσαρσιν οὐκ ἀποστραφήσομαι αὐτὸν, ἀνθʼ ὧν ἔπριζον πριοσι σιδηροῖς τὰς ἐν γαστρὶ ἐχούσας τῶν ἐν Γαλαάδ.
3 Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de Damasco, y por el cuarto, no desviaré su castigo; porque trillaron á Galaad con trillos de hierro.
3 Yahweh says: “For three transgressions of Damascus, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment, because they have threshed Gilead with threshing instruments of iron;
4 Καὶ ἀποστελῶ πῦρ εἰς τὸν οἶκον Ἀζαὴλ, καὶ καταφάγεται τὰ θεμέλια υἱοῦ Ἄδερ.
4 Y meteré fuego en la casa de Hazael, y consumirá los palacios de Benhadad.
4 but I will send a fire into the house of Hazael, and it will devour the palaces of Ben Hadad.
5 Καὶ συντρίψω μοχλοὺς Δαμασκοῦ, καὶ ἐξολοθρεύσω κατοικοῦντας ἐκ πεδίου Ὦν, καὶ κατακόψω φυλὴν ἐξ ἀνδρῶν Χαῤῥὰν, καὶ αἰχμαλωτευθήσεται λαὸς Συρίας ἐπίκλητος, λέγει Κύριος.
5 Y quebraré la barra de Damasco, y talaré los moradores de Bicath-aven, y los gobernadores de Beth-eden: y el pueblo de Aram será trasportado á Chîr, dice Jehová.
5 I will break the bar of Damascus, and cut off the inhabitant from the valley of Aven, and him who holds the scepter from the house of Eden; and the people of Syria shall go into captivity to Kir,” says Yahweh.
6 Τάδε λέγει Κύριος, ἐπὶ ταῖς τρισὶν ἀσεβείαις Γάζης, καὶ ἐπὶ ταῖς τέσσαρσιν οὐκ ἀποστραφήσομαι αὐτοὺς, ἕνεκεν τοῦ αἰχμαλωτεῦσαι αὐτοὺς αἰχμαλωσίαν τοῦ Σαλωμὼν, τοῦ συγκλεῖσαι εἰς τὴν Ἰδουμαίαν.
6 Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de Gaza, y por el cuarto, no desviaré su castigo; porque llevó cautiva toda la cautividad, para entregarlos á Edom.
6 Yahweh says: “For three transgressions of Gaza, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment, because they carried away captive the whole community, to deliver them up to Edom;
7 Καὶ ἐξαποστελῶ πῦρ ἐπὶ τὰ τείχη Γάζης, καὶ καταφάγεται τὰ θεμέλια αὐτῆς.
7 Y meteré fuego en el muro de Gaza, y quemará sus palacios.
7 but I will send a fire on the wall of Gaza, and it will devour its palaces.
8 Καὶ ἐξολοθρεύσω κατοικοῦντας ἐξ Ἀζώτου, καὶ ἐξαρθήσεται φυλὴ ἐξ Ἀσκάλωνος, καὶ ἐπάξω τὴν χεῖρά μου ἐπὶ Ἀκκάρων, καὶ ἀπολοῦνται οἱ κατάλοιποι τῶν ἀλλοφύλων, λέγει Κύριος.
8 Y talaré los moradores de Azoto, y los gobernadores de Ascalón: y tornaré mi mano sobre Ecrón, y las reliquias de los Palestinos perecerán, ha dicho el Señor Jehová.
8 I will cut off the inhabitant from Ashdod, and him who holds the scepter from Ashkelon; and I will turn my hand against Ekron; and the remnant of the Philistines will perish,” says the Lord Yahweh.
9 Τάδε λέγει Κύριος, ἐπὶ ταῖς τρισὶν ἀσεβείαις Τύρου, καὶ ἐπὶ ταῖς τέσσαρσιν οὐκ ἀποστραφήσομαι αὐτὴν, ἀνθʼ ὧν συνέκλεισαν αἰχμαλωσίαν τοῦ Σαλωμὼν εἰς τὴν Ἰδουμαίαν, καὶ οὐκ ἐμνήσθησαν διαθήκης ἀδελφῶν.
9 Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de Tiro, y por el cuarto, no desviaré su castigo; porque entregaron la cautividad entera á Edom, y no se acordaron del concierto de hermanos.
9 Yahweh says: “For three transgressions of Tyre, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment; because they delivered up the whole community to Edom, and didn’t remember the brotherly covenant;
10 Καὶ ἐξαποστελῶ πῦρ ἐπὶ τὰ τείχη Τύρου, καὶ καταφάγεται τὰ θεμέλια αὐτῆς.
10 Y meteré fuego en el muro de Tiro, y consumirá sus palacios.
10 but I will send a fire on the wall of Tyre, and it will devour its palaces.”
11 Τάδε λέγει Κύριος, ἐπὶ ταῖς τρισὶν ἀσεβείαις τῆς Ἰδουμαίας, καὶ ἐπὶ ταῖς τέσσαρσιν οὐκ ἀποστραφήσομαι αὐτοὺς, ἕνεκα τοῦ διῶξαι αὐτοὺς ἐν ῥομφαίᾳ τὸν ἀδελφὸν αὐτοῦ, καὶ ἐλυμήνατο μητέρα ἐπὶ γῆς, καὶ ἥρπασεν εἰς μαρτύριον φρίκην αὐτοῦ, καὶ τὸ ὅρμημα αὐτοῦ ἐφύλαξεν εἰς νῖκος.
11 Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de Edom, y por el cuarto, no desviaré su castigo; porque persiguió á cuchillo á su hermano, y rompió sus conmiseraciones; y con su furor le ha robado siempre, y ha perpetuamente guardado el enojo.
11 Yahweh says: “For three transgressions of Edom, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment, because he pursued his brother with the sword and cast off all pity, and his anger raged continually, and he kept his wrath forever;
12 Καὶ ἐξαποστελῶ πῦρ εἰς Θαμὰν, καὶ καταφάγεται θεμέλια τειχέων αὐτῆς.
12 Y meteré fuego en Temán, y consumirá los palacios de Bosra.
12 but I will send a fire on Teman, and it will devour the palaces of Bozrah.”
13 Τάδε λέγει Κύριος, ἐπὶ ταῖς τρισὶν ἀσεβείαις υἱῶν Ἀμμὼν, καὶ ἐπὶ ταῖς τέσσαρσιν οὐκ ἀποστραφήσομαι αὐτὸν, ἀνθʼ ὧν ἀνέσχιζον τὰς ἐν γαστρὶ ἐχούσας τῶν Γαλααδιτῶν, ὅπως ἐνπλατύνωσι τὰ ὅρια ἑαυτῶν.
13 Así ha dicho Jehová: Por tres pecados de los hijos de Ammón, y por el cuarto, no desviaré su castigo; porque abrieron las preñadas de Galaad, para ensanchar su término.
13 Yahweh says: “For three transgressions of the children of Ammon, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment, because they have ripped open the pregnant women of Gilead, that they may enlarge their border.
14 Καὶ ἀνάψω πῦρ ἐπὶ τεὶχη Ῥαββὰθ, καὶ καταφάγεται θεμέλια αὐτῆς μετὰ κραυγῆς ἐν ἡμέρᾳ πολέμου, καὶ σεισθήσεται ἐν ἡμέραις συντελείας αὐτῆς,
14 Y encenderé fuego en el muro de Rabba, y consumirá sus palacios con estruendo en día de batalla, con tempestad en día tempestuoso:
14 But I will kindle a fire in the wall of Rabbah, and it will devour its palaces, with shouting in the day of battle, with a storm in the day of the whirlwind;
15 καὶ πορεύσονται οἱ βασιλεῖς αὐτῆς ἐν αἰχμαλωσίᾳ, οἱ ἱερεῖς αὐτῶν καὶ οἱ ἄρχοντες αὐτῶν ἐπιτοαυτὸ, λέγει Κύριος.
15 Y su rey irá en cautiverio, él y sus príncipes todos, dice Jehová.
15 and their king will go into captivity, he and his princes together,” says Yahweh.
