1 Estas fueron las etapas del viaje de los israelitas después de salir de Egipto organizados como un ejército bajo la dirección de Moisés y Aarón.
1 These are the journeys of the children of Israel, when they went out of the land of Egypt by their armies under the hand of Moses and Aaron.
2 Por orden del Señor, Moisés escribió los lugares desde donde partieron en cada etapa de su viaje. Estas fueron sus etapas:
2 Moses wrote the starting points of their journeys by the commandment of Yahweh. These are their journeys according to their starting points.
3 Salieron de Ramesés el día quince del primer mes, el día después de la Pascua. Los israelitas salieron con valentía a la vista de todos los egipcios,
3 They traveled from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month; on the next day after the Passover, the children of Israel went out with a high hand in the sight of all the Egyptians,
4 mientras los egipcios enterraban a todos sus primogénitos, a quienes el Señor había matado. El Señor también había ejecutado juicio contra sus dioses.
4 while the Egyptians were burying all their firstborn, whom Yahweh had struck among them. Yahweh also executed judgments on their gods.
5 Los israelitas salieron de Ramesés y acamparon en Sucot.
5 The children of Israel traveled from Rameses, and encamped in Succoth.
6 Salieron de Sucot y acamparon en Etam, al borde del desierto.
6 They traveled from Succoth, and encamped in Etham, which is in the edge of the wilderness.
7 Salieron de Etam, regresaron hacia Pi-hahirot, frente a Baal-zefón, y acamparon cerca de Migdol.
7 They traveled from Etham, and turned back to Pihahiroth, which is before Baal Zephon, and they encamped before Migdol.
8 Salieron de Pi-hahirot, atravesaron el mar y entraron en el desierto. Después de viajar tres días por el desierto de Etam, acamparon en Mará.
8 They traveled from before Hahiroth, and crossed through the middle of the sea into the wilderness. They went three days’ journey in the wilderness of Etham, and encamped in Marah.
9 Salieron de Mará y llegaron a Elim, donde había doce manantiales y setenta palmeras, y acamparon allí.
9 They traveled from Marah, and came to Elim. In Elim, there were twelve springs of water and seventy palm trees, and they encamped there.
10 Salieron de Elim y acamparon junto al mar Rojo.
10 They traveled from Elim, and encamped by the Red Sea.
11 Salieron del mar Rojo y acamparon en el desierto de Sin.
11 They traveled from the Red Sea, and encamped in the wilderness of Sin.

15 Salieron de Refidim y acamparon en el desierto del Sinaí.
15 They traveled from Rephidim, and encamped in the wilderness of Sinai.
16 Salieron del desierto del Sinaí y acamparon en Quibrot-hataavá.
16 They traveled from the wilderness of Sinai, and encamped in Kibroth Hattaavah.

38 El sacerdote Aarón subió al monte Hor por orden del Señor y murió allí el primer día del quinto mes, en el año cuarenta después de la salida de los israelitas de Egipto.
38 Aaron the priest went up into Mount Hor at the commandment of Yahweh and died there, in the fortieth year after the children of Israel had come out of the land of Egypt, in the fifth month, on the first day of the month.
39 Aarón tenía ciento veintitrés años cuando murió en el monte Hor.
39 Aaron was one hundred twenty-three years old when he died in Mount Hor.
40 El rey cananeo de Arad, que vivía en el Néguev, en la tierra de Canaán, oyó que los israelitas se acercaban.
40 The Canaanite king of Arad, who lived in the South in the land of Canaan, heard of the coming of the children of Israel.
41 Salieron del monte Hor y acamparon en Zalmoná.
41 They traveled from Mount Hor, and encamped in Zalmonah.
42 Salieron de Zalmoná y acamparon en Punón.
42 They traveled from Zalmonah, and encamped in Punon.
43 Salieron de Punón y acamparon en Obot.
43 They traveled from Punon, and encamped in Oboth.
44 Salieron de Obot y acamparon en Iye-abarim, en la frontera de Moab.

48 Salieron de las montañas de Abarim y acamparon en las llanuras de Moab, junto al Jordán, frente a Jericó.
48 They traveled from the mountains of Abarim, and encamped in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho.
49 Allí, junto al Jordán, acamparon desde Bet-jesimot hasta Abel-sitim, en las llanuras de Moab.
49 They encamped by the Jordan, from Beth Jeshimoth even to Abel Shittim in the plains of Moab.
50 En las llanuras de Moab, junto al Jordán, frente a Jericó, el Señor dijo a Moisés:
50 Yahweh spoke to Moses in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho, saying,
51 «Habla a los israelitas y diles: Cuando crucen el Jordán y entren en la tierra de Canaán,
51 Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them, “When you pass over the Jordan into the land of Canaan,
52 expulsen de delante de ustedes a todos los habitantes de la tierra. Destruyan todas sus imágenes de piedra y sus imágenes de metal fundido, y destruyan todos sus lugares de culto en las alturas.
52 then you shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, destroy all their stone idols, destroy all their molten images, and demolish all their high places.
53 Tomen posesión de la tierra y vivan en ella, porque yo se la he dado para que la posean.
53 You shall take possession of the land, and dwell therein; for I have given the land to you to possess it.
54 Repartan la tierra por sorteo entre sus familias. A los grupos grandes denles una herencia mayor, y a los pequeños una menor. Lo que le toque a cada uno por sorteo será suyo. Recibirán su herencia según las tribus de sus padres.
54 You shall inherit the land by lot according to your families; to the larger groups you shall give a larger inheritance, and to the smaller you shall give a smaller inheritance. Wherever the lot falls to any man, that shall be his. You shall inherit according to the tribes of your fathers.
55 Pero si no expulsan a los habitantes de la tierra, los que dejen allí serán como espinas en sus ojos y aguijones en sus costados. Les causarán problemas en la tierra donde vivan.
55 “But if you do not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you, then those you let remain of them will be like pricks in your eyes and thorns in your sides. They will harass you in the land in which you dwell.
56 Entonces haré con ustedes lo que había pensado hacer con ellos».
56 It shall happen that as I thought to do to them, so I will do to you.”
