CPDV Versión Católica de Dominio Público WEB World English Bible (clásica, con deuterocanónicos) 1 Then David and the magistrates of the army set apart, for the ministry, the sons of Asaph, and of Heman, and of Jeduthun, who were to prophesy with harps and psalteries and cymbals, in accord with their number, having been dedicated to their appointed office. 1 ASIMISMO David y los príncipes del ejército apartaron para el ministerio á los hijos de Asaph, y de Hemán, y de Jeduthún, los cuales profetizasen con arpas, salterios, y címbalos: y el número de ellos fué, de hombres [idóneos] para la obra de su ministerio respectivo:
1 Moreover, David and the captains of the army set apart for the service certain of the sons of Asaph, of Heman, and of Jeduthun, who were to prophesy with harps, with stringed instruments, and with cymbals. The number of those who did the work according to their service was:
2 From the sons of Asaph: Zaccur, and Joseph, and Nethaniah, and Asharelah, the sons of Asaph, under the hand of Asaph, prophesying beside the king. 2 De los hijos de Asaph: Zachûr, José, Methanías, y Asareela, hijos de Asaph, bajo la dirección de Asaph, el cual profetizaba á la orden del rey.
2 of the sons of Asaph: Zaccur, Joseph, Nethaniah, and Asharelah. The sons of Asaph were under the hand of Asaph, who prophesied at the order of the king.
3 Then of Jeduthun, the sons of Jeduthun: Gedaliah, Zeri, Jeshaiah, and Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six, under the hand of their father Jeduthun, who was prophesying with stringed instruments, while confessing and praising the Lord. 3 De Jeduthún: los hijos de Jeduthún, Gedalías, Sesi, Jesaías, Hasabías, y Mathithías, [y Simi]: seis, bajo la mano de su padre Jeduthún, el cual profetizaba con arpa, para celebrar y alabar á Jehová.
3 Of Jeduthun, the sons of Jeduthun: Gedaliah, Zeri, Jeshaiah, Shimei, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six, under the hands of their father Jeduthun, who prophesied in giving thanks and praising Yahweh with the harp.
4 Also, of Heman, the sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, and Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, and Romamtiezer, and Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, Mahazioth. 4 De Hemán: los hijos de Hemán, Buccia, Mathanía, Uzziel, Sebuel, Jerimoth, Hananías, Hanani, Eliatha, Gidalthi, Romamti-ezer, Josbecasa, Mallothi, Othir, y Mahazioth.
4 Of Heman, the sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, Romamti-Ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, and Mahazioth.
5 All these were the sons of Heman, the seer of the king in the words of God, in order to lift up the horn. And God gave to Heman fourteen sons and three daughters. 5 Todos estos fueron hijos de Hemán, vidente del rey en palabras de Dios, para ensalzar el poder [suyo]: y dió Dios á Hemán catorce hijos y tres hijas.
5 All these were the sons of Heman the king’s seer in the words of God, to lift up the horn. God gave to Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.
6 All these, under their father’s hand, were distributed in order to sing in the temple of the Lord, with cymbals and psalteries and harps, in the ministry of the house of the Lord beside the king, specifically, Asaph, and Jeduthun, and Heman. 6 Y todos estos estaban bajo la dirección de su padre en la música, en la casa de Jehová, con címbalos, salterios y arpas, para el ministerio del templo de Dios, por disposición del rey [acerca] de Asaph, de Jeduthún, y de Hemán.
6 All these were under the hands of their father for song in Yahweh’s house, with cymbals, stringed instruments, and harps, for the service of God’s house: Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman being under the order of the king.
7 Now the number of these, with their brothers, who were instructing in the song of the Lord, all the teachers, were two hundred eighty-eight. 7 Y el número de ellos con sus hermanos instruídos en música de Jehová, todos los aptos, fué doscientos ochenta y ocho.
7 The number of them, with their brothers who were instructed in singing to Yahweh, even all who were skillful, was two hundred eighty-eight.
8 And they cast lots in their turns, the elder equally with the younger, the learned together with the unlearned. 8 Y echaron suertes para los turnos [del servicio], [entrando] el pequeño con el grande, lo mismo el maestro que el discípulo.
8 They cast lots for their offices, all alike, the small as well as the great, the teacher as well as the student.
9 And the first lot went forth to Joseph, who was of Asaph; the second went forth to Gedaliah, to him and his sons and his brothers, twelve. 9 Y la primera suerte salió por Asaph, á José: la segunda á Gedalías, quien con sus hermanos é hijos fueron doce;
9 Now the first lot came out for Asaph to Joseph; the second to Gedaliah, he and his brothers and sons were twelve;
10 The third went to Zaccur, to his sons and brothers, twelve. 10 La tercera á Zachûr, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;
10 the third to Zaccur, his sons and his brothers, twelve;
11 The fourth went to Izri, to his sons and brothers, twelve. 11 La cuarta á Isri, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;
11 the fourth to Izri, his sons and his brothers, twelve;
12 The fifth went to Nethaniah, to his sons and brothers, twelve. 12 La quinta á Nethanías, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;
12 the fifth to Nethaniah, his sons and his brothers, twelve;
13 The sixth went to Bukkiah, to his sons and brothers, twelve. 13 La sexta á Buccia, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;
13 the sixth to Bukkiah, his sons and his brothers, twelve;
14 The seventh went to Jesharelah, to his sons and brothers, twelve. 14 La séptima á Jesarela, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;
14 the seventh to Jesharelah, his sons and his brothers, twelve;
15 The eighth went to Jeshaiah, to his sons and brothers, twelve. 15 La octava á Jesahías, con sus hijos y sus hermanos, doce;
