1 Now the children of Israel according to their number, the heads of families, captains of thousands and of hundreds, and officers, that served the king according to their companies, who came in and went out every month in the year, under every chief were four and twenty thousand.
1 Y LOS hijos de Israel según su número, [á saber], príncipes de familias, tribunos, centuriones y oficiales de los que servían al rey en todos los negocios de las divisiones que entraban y salían cada mes en todos los meses del año, eran en cada división veinte y cuatro mil.
1 Now the children of Israel after their number, the heads of fathers’ households and the captains of thousands and of hundreds, and their officers who served the king in any matter of the divisions which came in and went out month by month throughout all the months of the year—of every division were twenty-four thousand.
2 Over the first company the first month Jesboam, the son of Zabdiel was chief, and under him were four and twenty thousand.
2 Sobre la primera división del primer mes estaba Jasobam hijo de Zabdiel; y había en su división veinte y cuatro mil.
2 Over the first division for the first month was Jashobeam the son of Zabdiel. In his division were twenty-four thousand.
3 Of the sons of Phares, the chief of all the captains in the host in the first month.
3 De los hijos de Phares [fué] él jefe de todos los capitanes de las compañías del primer mes.
3 He was of the children of Perez, the chief of all the captains of the army for the first month.
4 The company of the second month was under Dudia, an Ahohite, and after him was another named Macelloth, who commanded a part of the army of four and twenty thousand.
4 Sobre la división del segundo mes estaba Dodai Ahohita: y Micloth [era] mayor general en su división, en la que también había veinte y cuatro mil.
4 Over the division of the second month was Dodai the Ahohite and his division, and Mikloth the ruler; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
5 And the captain of the third company for the third month, was Banaias the son of Joiada the priest: and in his division were four and twenty thousand.
5 El jefe de la tercera división para el tercer mes era Benaías, hijo de Joiada sumo sacerdote; y en su división había veinte y cuatro mil.
5 The third captain of the army for the third month was Benaiah, the son of Jehoiada the chief priest. In his division were twenty-four thousand.
6 This is that Banaias the most valiant among the thirty, and above the thirty. And Amizabad his son commanded his company.
6 Este Benaías era valiente entre los treinta y sobre los treinta; y en su división estaba Amisabad su hijo.
6 This is that Benaiah who was the mighty man of the thirty and over the thirty. Of his division was Ammizabad his son.
7 The fourth, for the fourth month, was Asahel the brother of Joab, and Zabadias his son after him: and in his company were four and twenty thousand.
7 El cuarto [jefe] para el cuarto mes era Asael hermano de Joab, y después de él Zebadías su hijo; y en su división había veinte y cuatro mil.
7 The fourth captain for the fourth month was Asahel the brother of Joab, and Zebadiah his son after him. In his division were twenty-four thousand.
8 The fifth captain for the fifth month, was Samaoth a Jezerite: and his company were four and twenty thousand.
8 El quinto jefe para el quinto mes era Sambuth Izrita: y en su división había veinte y cuatro mil.
8 The fifth captain for the fifth month was Shamhuth the Izrahite. In his division were twenty-four thousand.
9 The sixth, for the sixth month, was Hira the son of Acces a Thecuite: and in his company were four and twenty thousand.
9 El sexto para el sexto mes era Hira hijo de Icces, de Tecoa; y en su división veinte y cuatro mil.
9 The sixth captain for the sixth month was Ira the son of Ikkesh the Tekoite. In his division were twenty-four thousand.
10 The seventh, for the seventh month, was Helles a Phallonite of the sons of Ephraim: and in his company were four and twenty thousand.
10 El séptimo para el séptimo mes era Helles Pelonita, de los hijos de Ephraim; y en su división veinte y cuatro mil.
10 The seventh captain for the seventh month was Helez the Pelonite, of the children of Ephraim. In his division were twenty-four thousand.
11 The eighth, for the eighth month, was Sobochai a Husathite of the race of Zarahi: and in his company were four and twenty thousand.
11 El octavo para el octavo mes era Sibbecai Husatita, de Zarahi; y en su división veinte y cuatro mil.
11 The eighth captain for the eighth month was Sibbecai the Hushathite, of the Zerahites. In his division were twenty-four thousand.
12 The ninth, for the ninth month, was Abiezer an Anathothite of the sons of Jemini, and in His company were four and twenty thousand.
12 El noveno para el noveno mes era Abiezer Anathothita, de los Benjamitas; y en su división veinte y cuatro mil.
12 The ninth captain for the ninth month was Abiezer the Anathothite, of the Benjamites. In his division were twenty-four thousand.
13 The tenth, for the tenth month, was Marai, who was a Netophathite of the race of Zarai: and in his company were four and twenty thousand.
13 El décimo para el décimo mes era Maharai Nethophathita, de Zarahi; y en su división veinte y cuatro mil.
13 The tenth captain for the tenth month was Maharai the Netophathite, of the Zerahites. In his division were twenty-four thousand.
14 The eleventh, for the eleventh month, was Banaias, a Pharathonite of the sons of Ephraim: and in his company were four and twenty thousand.
14 El undécimo para el undécimo mes era Benaías Piratonita, de los hijos de Ephraim; y en su división veinte y cuatro mil.
14 The eleventh captain for the eleventh month was Benaiah the Pirathonite, of the children of Ephraim. In his division were twenty-four thousand.
15 The twelfth, for the twelfth month, was Holdai a Netophathite, of the race of Gothoniel: and in his company were four and twenty thousand.
15 El duodécimo para el duodécimo mes era Heldai Nethophathita, de Othniel; y en su división veinte y cuatro mil.
15 The twelfth captain for the twelfth month was Heldai the Netophathite, of Othniel. In his division were twenty-four thousand.
16 Now the chiefs over the tribes of Israel were these: over the Rubenites, Eliezer the son of Zechri was ruler: over the Simeonites, Saphatias the son of Maacha:
16 Asimismo sobre las tribus de Israel: el jefe de los Rubenitas era Eliezer hijo de Zichri; de los Simeonitas, Sephatías, hijo de Maachâ:
16 Furthermore over the tribes of Israel: of the Reubenites, Eliezer the son of Zichri was the ruler; of the Simeonites, Shephatiah the son of Maacah;
17 Over the Levites, Hasabias the son of Camuel: over the Aaronites, Sadoc:
17 De los Levitas, Hasabías hijo de Camuel; de los Aaronitas, Sadoc;
17 of Levi, Hashabiah the son of Kemuel; of Aaron, Zadok;
18 Over Juda, Eliu the brother of David: over Issachar, Amri the son of Michael:

18 of Judah, Elihu, one of the brothers of David; of Issachar, Omri the son of Michael;
19 Over the Zabulonites, Jesmaias the son of Adias: over the Nephtalites, Jerimoth the son of Ozriel:
19 De los de Zabulón, Ismaías hijo de Abdías; de los de Nephtalí, Jerimoth hijo de Azriel;
19 of Zebulun, Ishmaiah the son of Obadiah; of Naphtali, Jeremoth the son of Azriel;
20 Over the sons of Ephraim, Osee the: son of Ozaziu: over the half tribe of Manasses, Joel the son of Phadaia:
20 De los hijos de Ephraim, Oseas hijo de Azazía; de la media tribu de Manasés, Joel hijo de Pedaía;
20 of the children of Ephraim, Hoshea the son of Azaziah; of the half-tribe of Manasseh, Joel the son of Pedaiah;
21 And over the half tribe of Manasses: in Galaad, Jaddo the son of Zacharias: and over Benjamin, Jasiel the son of Abner.
21 De la otra media tribu de Manasés en Galaad, Iddo hijo de Zachârías; de los de Benjamín, Jaaciel hijo de Abner;
21 of the half-tribe of Manasseh in Gilead, Iddo the son of Zechariah; of Benjamin, Jaasiel the son of Abner;
22 And over Dan, Ezrihel the son of Jeroham: these were the princes of the children of Israel.
22 Y de Dan, Azarael hijo de Jeroam. Estos fueron los jefes de las tribus de Israel.
22 of Dan, Azarel the son of Jeroham. These were the captains of the tribes of Israel.
23 But David would not number them from twenty years old and under: because the Lord had said that he would multiply Israel like the stars of heaven.
23 Y no tomó David el número de los que eran de veinte años abajo, por cuanto Jehová había dicho que él había de multiplicar á Israel como las estrellas del cielo.
23 But David didn’t take the number of them from twenty years old and under, because Yahweh had said he would increase Israel like the stars of the sky.
24 Joab the son of Sarvia began to number, but he finished not: because upon this there fell wrath upon Israel: and therefore the number of them that were numbered, was not registered in the chronicles of king David.
24 Joab hijo de Sarvia había comenzado á contar, mas no acabó, pues por esto vino la ira sobre Israel: y [así] el número no fué puesto en el registro de las crónicas del rey David.
24 Joab the son of Zeruiah began to take a census, but didn’t finish; and wrath came on Israel for this. The number wasn’t put into the account in the chronicles of King David.
25 And over the king’s treasures was Azmoth the son of Adiel: and over those stores which were in the cities, and is the villages, and in the castles, was Jonathan the son of Ozias.
25 Y Azmaveth hijo de Adiel tenía cargo de los tesoros del rey; y de los tesoros de los campos, y de las ciudades, y de las aldeas y castillos, Jonathán hijo de Uzzías;
25 Over the king’s treasures was Azmaveth the son of Adiel. Over the treasures in the fields, in the cities, in the villages, and in the towers was Jonathan the son of Uzziah;
26 And over the tillage, and the husbandmen, who tilled the ground, was Ezri the son of Chelub:
26 Y de los que trabajaban en la labranza de las tierras, Ezri hijo de Chêlud;
26 Over those who did the work of the field for tillage of the ground was Ezri the son of Chelub.
27 And over the dressers of the vineyards, was Semeias a Romathite: and over the wine cellars, Zabdias an Aphonite.
27 Y de las viñas Simi Ramathita; y del fruto de las viñas para las bodegas, Zabdías Siphmita;
27 Over the vineyards was Shimei the Ramathite. Over the increase of the vineyards for the wine cellars was Zabdi the Shiphmite.
28 And over the oliveyards and the fig groves, which were in the plains, was Balanam a Gederite: and over the oil cellars, Joas.
28 Y de los olivares é higuerales que había en las campiñas, Baal-hanan Gederita; y de los almacenes del aceite, Joas;
28 Over the olive trees and the sycamore trees that were in the lowland was Baal Hanan the Gederite. Over the cellars of oil was Joash.
29 And over the herds that fed in Saron, was Setrai a Saronite: and over the. oxen in the valleys, Saphat the son of Adli:
29 De las vacas que pastaban en Sarón, Sitrai Saronita; y de las vacas que estaban en los valles, Saphat hijo de Adlai;
29 Over the herds that fed in Sharon was Shitrai the Sharonite. Over the herds that were in the valleys was Shaphat the son of Adlai.
30 And over the camels, Ubil an Ishmahelite: and over the asses, Jadias a Meronathite:
30 Y de los camellos, Obil Ismaelita; y de las asnas, Jedías Meronothita;
30 Over the camels was Obil the Ishmaelite. Over the donkeys was Jehdeiah the Meronothite. Over the flocks was Jaziz the Hagrite.
31 And over the sheep Jazia an Agarene. All these were the rulers of the substance of king David.
31 Y de las ovejas, Jaziz Agareno. Todos estos eran superintendentes de la hacienda del rey David.
31 All these were the rulers of the property which was King David’s.
32 And Jonathan David’s uncle, a counsellor, a wise and learned man: he and Jahiel the son of Hachamoni were with the king’s sons.
32 Y Jonathán, tío de David, era consejero, varón prudente y escriba; y Jehiel hijo de Hacmoni estaba con los hijos del rey.
32 Also Jonathan, David’s uncle, was a counselor, a man of understanding, and a scribe. Jehiel the son of Hachmoni was with the king’s sons.
33 And Achitophel was the king’s counsellor, and Chusai the Arachite, the king’s friend.
33 Y también Achitophel era consejero del rey; y Husai Arachîta amigo del rey.
33 Ahithophel was the king’s counselor. Hushai the Archite was the king’s friend.
34 And after Achitophel was Joiada the son of Banaias, and Abiathar. And the general of the king’s army was Joab.
34 Después de Achitophel era Joiada hijo de Benaías, y Abiathar. Y Joab era el general del ejército del rey.
34 After Ahithophel was Jehoiada the son of Benaiah, and Abiathar. Joab was the captain of the king’s army.
