Ellos aparejaron y levantaron sus puertas hasta la torre de Meah, aparejáronla hasta la torre de Hananeel.
1 Then Eliashib the high priest rose up with his brothers the priests, and they built the sheep gate. They sanctified it, and set up its doors. They sanctified it even to the tower of Hammeah, to the tower of Hananel.
2 And next vnto him buylded the men of Iericho, and beside him Zaccur the sonne of Imri. 2 Y junto á ella edificaron los varones de Jericó: y luego edificó Zachûr hijo de Imri.
2 Next to him the men of Jericho built. Next to them Zaccur the son of Imri built.
3 But the fish port did the sonnes of Senaah buylde, which also layde the beames thereof, and set on the doores thereof, the lockes thereof, and the barres thereof. 3 Y los hijos de Senaa edificaron la puerta del Pescado: ellos la enmaderaron, y levantaron sus puertas, con sus cerraduras y sus cerrojos.
3 The sons of Hassenaah built the fish gate. They laid its beams, and set up its doors, its bolts, and its bars.
4 And next vnto them fortified Merimoth, the sonne of Vrijah, the sonne of Hakkoz: and next vnto them fortified Meshullam, the sonne of Berechiah, the sonne of Meshezabeel: and next vnto them fortified Zadok, the sonne of Baana: 4 Y junto á ellos restauró Meremoth hijo de Urías, hijo de Cos: y al lado de ellos, restauró Mesullam hijo de Berechîas, hijo de Mesezabeel. Junto á ellos restauró Sadoc hijo de Baana.
4 Next to them, Meremoth the son of Uriah, the son of Hakkoz made repairs. Next to them, Meshullam the son of Berechiah, the son of Meshezabel made repairs. Next to them, Zadok the son of Baana made repairs.
5 And next vnto them fortified the Tekoites: but the great men of them put not their neckes to the worke of their lordes. 5 E inmediato á ellos restauraron los Tecoitas; mas sus grandes no prestaron su cerviz á la obra de su Señor.
5 Next to them, the Tekoites made repairs; but their nobles didn’t put their necks to the Lord’s work.
6 And the gate of the olde fishpoole fortified Iehoiada the sonne of Paseah, and Meshullam the sonne of Besodaiah: they laid the beames thereof, and set on the doores thereof, and the lockes thereof, and the barres thereof. 6 Y la puerta Vieja restauraron Joiada hijo de Pasea, y Mesullam hijo de Besodías: ellos la enmaderaron, y levantaron sus puertas, con sus cerraduras y sus cerrojos.
6 Joiada the son of Paseah and Meshullam the son of Besodeiah repaired the old gate. They laid its beams and set up its doors, its bolts, and its bars.
7 Next vnto them also fortified Melatiah the Gibeonite, and Iadon the Meronothite, men of Gibeon, and of Mizpah, vnto the throne of the Duke, which was beyond the Riuer. 7 Junto á ellos restauró Melatías Gabaonita, y Jadón Meronothita, varones de Gabaón y de Mizpa, por la silla del gobernador de la otra parte del río.
7 Next to them, Melatiah the Gibeonite and Jadon the Meronothite, the men of Gibeon and of Mizpah, repaired the residence of the governor beyond the River.
8 Next vnto him fortified Vzziel the sonne of Harhohiah of the golde smithes: next vnto him also fortified Hananiah, the sonne of Harakkahim, and they repayred Ierusalem vnto the broad wall. 8 Y junto á ellos restauró Uzziel hijo de Harhaía, de los plateros; junto al cual restauró también Hananías, hijo de [un] perfumero. Así dejaron [reparado] á Jerusalem hasta el muro ancho.
8 Next to him, Uzziel the son of Harhaiah, goldsmiths, made repairs. Next to him, Hananiah, one of the perfumers, made repairs, and they fortified Jerusalem even to the wide wall.
9 Also next vnto them fortified Rephaiah, the sonne of Hur, the ruler of the halfe part of Ierusalem. 9 Junto á ellos restauró también Repaías hijo de Hur, príncipe de la mitad de la región de Jerusalem.
9 Next to them, Rephaiah the son of Hur, the ruler of half the district of Jerusalem, made repairs.
10 And next vnto him fortified Iedaiah the sonne of Harumaph, euen ouer against his house: and next vnto him fortified Hattush, the sonne of Hashabniah. 10 Asimismo restauró junto á ellos, y frente á su casa, Jedaías hijo de Harumaph; y junto á él restauró Hattus hijo de Hasbanías.
10 Next to them, Jedaiah the son of Harumaph made repairs across from his house. Next to him, Hattush the son of Hashabneiah made repairs.
11 Malchiiah the sonne of Harim, and Hashub the sonne of Pahath Moab fortified the seconde porcion, and the tower of the fornaces. 11 Malchîas hijo de Harim y Hasub hijo de Pahath-moab, restauraron la otra medida, y la torre de los Hornos.
11 Malchijah the son of Harim and Hasshub the son of Pahathmoab repaired another portion and the tower of the furnaces.
12 Next vnto him also fortified Shallum, the sonne of Halloesh, the ruler of the halfe part of Ierusalem, he, and his daughters. 12 Junto á ellos restauró Sallum hijo de Lohes, príncipe de la mitad de la región de Jerusalem, él con sus hijas.
12 Next to him, Shallum the son of Hallohesh, the ruler of half the district of Jerusalem, he and his daughters made repairs.
13 The valley gate fortified Hanum, and the inhabitants of Zanuah: they buylt it, and set on the doores thereof, the lockes thereof, and the barres thereof, euen a thousand cubites on the wall vnto the dung porte. 13 La puerta del Valle la restauró Hanún con los moradores de Zanoa: ellos la reedificaron, y levantaron sus puertas, con sus cerraduras y sus cerrojos, y mil codos en el muro hasta la puerta del Muladar.
13 Hanun and the inhabitants of Zanoah repaired the valley gate. They built it, and set up its doors, its bolts, and its bars, and one thousand cubits of the wall to the dung gate.
14 But the dung port fortified Malchiah, the sonne of Rechab, the ruler of the fourth part of Beth-haccarem: he built it, and set on the doores thereof, the lockes thereof, and the barres thereof. 14 Y reedificó la puerta del Muladar, Malchîas hijo de Rechâb, príncipe de la provincia de Beth-haccerem: él la reedificó, y levantó sus puertas, sus cerraduras y sus cerrojos.
14 Malchijah the son of Rechab, the ruler of the district of Beth Haccherem, repaired the dung gate. He built it, and set up its doors, its bolts, and its bars.
15 But the gate of the fountaine fortified Shallun, the sonne of Col-hozeh, the ruler of the fourth part of Mizpah: he builded it, and couered it, and set on the doores thereof, the lockes thereof, and the barres thereof, and the wall vnto the fishpoole of Shelah by the Kings garden, and vnto the steppes that goe downe from the citie of Dauid. 15 Y Sallum hijo de Chôl-hoce, príncipe de la región de Mizpa, restauró la puerta de la Fuente: él la reedificó, y la enmaderó, y levantó sus puertas, sus cerraduras y sus cerrojos, y el muro del estanque de Selah hacia la huerta del rey, y hasta las gradas que descienden de la ciudad de David.
15 Shallun the son of Colhozeh, the ruler of the district of Mizpah, repaired the spring gate. He built it, covered it, and set up its doors, its bolts, and its bars; and he repaired the wall of the pool of Shelah by the king’s garden, even to the stairs that go down from David’s city.
16 After him fortified Nehemiah the sonne of Azbuk, the ruler of ye halfe part of Beth-zur, vntill the otherside ouer against the sepulchres of Dauid, and to the fishpoole that was repaired, and vnto the house of the mightie. 16 Después de él restauró Nehemías hijo de Azbuc, príncipe de la mitad de la región de Beth-sur, hasta delante de los sepulcros de David, y hasta el estanque labrado, y hasta la casa de los Valientes.
16 After him, Nehemiah the son of Azbuk, the ruler of half the district of Beth Zur, made repairs to the place opposite the tombs of David, and to the pool that was made, and to the house of the mighty men.
17 After him fortified the Leuites, Rehum the sonne of Bani, and next vnto him fortified Hashabiah the ruler of the halfe part of Keilah in his quarter. 17 Tras él restauraron los Levitas, Rehum hijo de Bani; junto á él restauró Asabías, príncipe de la mitad de la región de Ceila en su región.
17 After him, the Levites—Rehum the son of Bani made repairs. Next to him, Hashabiah, the ruler of half the district of Keilah, made repairs for his district.
18 After him fortified their brethren: Bauai, the sonne of Henadad the ruler of the halfe part of Keilah: 18 Después de él restauraron sus hermanos, Bavvai hijo de Henadad, príncipe de la mitad de la región de Ceila.
18 After him, their brothers, Bavvai the son of Henadad, the ruler of half the district of Keilah made repairs.
19 And next vnto him fortified Ezer, the sonne of Ieshua the ruler of Mizpah, the other portion ouer against the going vp to the corner of the armour. 19 Y junto á él restauró Ezer hijo de Jesuá, príncipe de Mizpa, la otra medida frente á la subida de la armería de la esquina.
19 Next to him, Ezer the son of Jeshua, the ruler of Mizpah, repaired another portion across from the ascent to the armory at the turning of the wall.
20 After him was earnest Baruch the sonne of Zacchai, and fortified another portion from the corner vnto the doore of the house of Eliashib the hie Priest. 20 Después de él se enfervorizó á restaurar Baruch hijo de Zachâi la otra medida, desde la esquina hasta la puerta de la casa de Eliasib gran sacerdote.
20 After him, Baruch the son of Zabbai earnestly repaired another portion, from the turning of the wall to the door of the house of Eliashib the high priest.

25 Palal, the sonne of Vzai, from ouer against the corner, and the high tower, that lieth out from the Kings house, which is beside the court of the prison. 26 And the Nethinims they dwelt in ye fortresse vnto the place ouer against the water gate, Eastwarde, and to the tower that lyeth out. 26 (Y los Nethineos estuvieron en Ophel hasta enfrente de la puerta de las Aguas al oriente, y la torre que sobresalía.)

27 After him fortified the Tekoites another portion ouer against the great tower, that lyeth out, euen vnto the wall of the fortresse. 27 Después de él restauraron los Tecoitas la otra medida, enfrente de la grande torre que sobresale, hasta el muro de Ophel.
27 After him the Tekoites repaired another portion, opposite the great tower that stands out, and to the wall of Ophel.
28 From aboue the horsegate forth fortified the Priests, euery one ouer against his house. 28 Desde la puerta de los Caballos restauraron los sacerdotes, cada uno enfrente de su casa.
28 Above the horse gate, the priests made repairs, everyone across from his own house.
29 After them fortified Zadok the sonne of Immer ouer against his house: and after him fortified Shemaiah, the sonne of Shechadiah the keeper of the East gate. 29 Después de ellos restauró Sadoc hijo de Immer, enfrente de su casa: y después de él restauró Semaías hijo de Sechânías, guarda de la puerta oriental.
