MSB Majority Standard Bible WEB World English Bible (clásica, con deuterocanónicos) 1 Then the Pharisees and some of the scribes who had come from Jerusalem gathered around Jesus. 1 Y SE juntaron á él los Fariseos, y algunos de los escribas, que habían venido de Jerusalem;
1 Then the Pharisees and some of the scribes gathered together to him, having come from Jerusalem.
2 And seeing some of His disciples eating with hands that were defiled (that is, unwashed), they found fault.
2 Now when they saw some of his disciples eating bread with defiled, that is unwashed, hands, they found fault.
3 Now in holding to the tradition of the elders, the Pharisees and all the Jews do not eat until they wash their hands ceremonially.
3 (For the Pharisees and all the Jews don’t eat unless they wash their hands and forearms, holding to the tradition of the elders.
4 And on returning from the market, they do not eat unless they wash. And there are many other traditions for them to observe, including the washing of cups, pitchers, kettles, and couches for dining.
4 They don’t eat when they come from the marketplace unless they bathe themselves, and there are many other things which they have received to hold to: washings of cups, pitchers, bronze vessels, and couches.)
5 So the Pharisees and scribes questioned Jesus: “Why do Your disciples not walk according to the tradition of the elders? Instead, they eat with unwashed hands.” 5 Y le preguntaron los Fariseos y los escribas: ¿Por qué tus discípulos no andan conforme á la tradición de los ancianos, sino que comen pan con manos comunes?
5 The Pharisees and the scribes asked him, “Why don’t your disciples walk according to the tradition of the elders, but eat their bread with unwashed hands?”
6 Jesus answered them, “Isaiah prophesied correctly about you hypocrites, as it is written: ‘These people honor Me with their lips, but their hearts are far from Me. 6 Y respondiendo él, les dijo: Hipócritas, bien profetizó de vosotros Isaías, como está escrito: Este pueblo con los labios me honra, mas su corazón lejos está de mí.
6 He answered them, “Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written, ‘This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.
7 They worship Me in vain; they teach as doctrine the precepts of men.’ 7 Y en vano me honran, enseñando [como] doctrinas mandamientos de hombres.
7 They worship me in vain, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’
8 You have disregarded the commandment of God to keep the tradition of men—the washing of pitchers and cups, and many other similar things you do.” 8 Porque dejando el mandamiento de Dios, tenéis la tradición de los hombres; las lavaduras de los jarros y de los vasos [de beber]: y hacéis otras muchas cosas semejantes.
8 “For you set aside the commandment of God, and hold tightly to the tradition of men—the washing of pitchers and cups, and you do many other such things.”
9 He went on to say, “You neatly set aside the command of God to maintain your own tradition. 9 Les decía también: Bien invalidáis el mandamiento de Dios para guardar vuestra tradición.
9 He said to them, “Full well do you reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your tradition.
10 For Moses said, ‘Honor your father and your mother’ and ‘Anyone who curses his father or mother must be put to death.’ 10 Porque Moisés dijo: Honra á tu padre y á tu madre, y: El que maldijere al padre ó á la madre, morirá de muerte.
10 For Moses said, ‘Honor your father and your mother;’ and, ‘He who speaks evil of father or mother, let him be put to death.’
11 But you say that if a man says to his father or mother, ‘Whatever you would have received from me is Corban’ (that is, a gift devoted to God), 11 Y vosotros decís: [Basta] si dijere un hombre al padre ó la madre: [Es] Corbán (quiere decir, don [mío á Dios]) todo aquello con que pudiera valerte;
11 But you say, ‘If a man tells his father or his mother, “Whatever profit you might have received from me is Corban,”’” that is to say, given to God,
12 he is no longer permitted to do anything for his father or mother.
12 “then you no longer allow him to do anything for his father or his mother,
13 Thus you nullify the word of God by the tradition you have handed down. And you do so in many such matters.” 13 Invalidando la palabra de Dios con vuestra tradición que disteis: y muchas cosas hacéis semejantes á éstas.
13 making void the word of God by your tradition which you have handed down. You do many things like this.”
14 Once again Jesus called the whole crowd to Him and said, “All of you, listen to Me and understand: 14 Y llamando á toda la multitud, les dijo: Oidme todos, y entended:
14 He called all the multitude to himself and said to them, “Hear me, all of you, and understand.
15 Nothing that enters a man from the outside can defile him; but the things that come out of a man, these are what defile him.
15 There is nothing from outside of the man that going into him can defile him; but the things which proceed out of the man are those that defile the man.
16 If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear.” 16 Si alguno tiene oídos para oir, oiga.
16 If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear!”
17 After Jesus had left the crowd and gone into the house, His disciples inquired about the parable.
17 When he had entered into a house away from the multitude, his disciples asked him about the parable.
18 “Are you still so dull?” He asked. “Do you not understand? Nothing that enters a man from the outside can defile him, 18 Y díjoles: ¿También vosotros estáis así sin entendimiento? ¿No entendéis que todo lo de fuera que entra en el hombre, no le puede contaminar;
18 He said to them, “Are you also without understanding? Don’t you perceive that whatever goes into the man from outside can’t defile him,
19 because it does not enter his heart, but it goes into the stomach and then is eliminated, thus purifying all foods.” 19 Porque no entra en su corazón, sino en el vientre, y sale á la secreta? [Esto decía], haciendo limpias todas las viandas.
19 because it doesn’t go into his heart, but into his stomach, then into the latrine, making all foods clean?”
20 He continued: “What comes out of a man, that is what defiles him. 20 Mas decía, que lo que del hombre sale, aquello contamina al hombre.
20 He said, “That which proceeds out of the man, that defiles the man.
21 For from within the hearts of men come evil thoughts, adultery, sexual immorality, murder, theft, 21 Porque de dentro, del corazón de los hombres, salen los malos pensamientos, los adulterios, las fornicaciones, los homicidios,
21 For from within, out of the hearts of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, sexual sins, murders, thefts,
22 greed, wickedness, deceit, debauchery, envy, slander, arrogance, and foolishness.
22 covetings, wickedness, deceit, lustful desires, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, and foolishness.
23 All these evils come from within, and these are what defile a man.” 23 Todas estas maldades de dentro salen, y contaminan al hombre.
23 All these evil things come from within and defile the man.”
24 Jesus left that place and went to the region of Tyre and Sidon. Not wanting anyone to know He was there, He entered a house, but was unable to escape their notice.
24 From there he arose and went away into the borders of Tyre and Sidon. He entered into a house and didn’t want anyone to know it, but he couldn’t escape notice.
25 For a woman whose little daughter had an unclean spirit heard about Jesus, and she came and fell at His feet.
25 For a woman whose little daughter had an unclean spirit, having heard of him, came and fell down at his feet.
26 Now she was a Greek woman of Syrophoenician origin, and she kept asking Jesus to drive the demon out of her daughter.
26 Now the woman was a Greek, a Syrophoenician by race. She begged him that he would cast the demon out of her daughter.
27 “First let the children have their fill,” Jesus said. “For it is not right to take the children’s bread and toss it to the dogs.” 27 Mas Jesús le dijo: Deja primero hartarse los hijos, porque no es bien tomar el pan de los hijos y echarlo á los perrillos.
27 But Jesus said to her, “Let the children be filled first, for it is not appropriate to take the children’s bread and throw it to the dogs.”
28 “Yes, Lord,” she replied, “for even the dogs under the table eat the children’s crumbs.” 28 Y respondió ella, y le dijo: Sí, Señor; pero aun los perrillos debajo de la mesa, comen de las migajas de los hijos.
28 But she answered him, “Yes, Lord. Yet even the dogs under the table eat the children’s crumbs.”
29 Then Jesus told her, “Because of this answer, you may go. The demon has left your daughter.” 29 Entonces le dice: Por esta palabra, ve; el demonio ha salido de tu hija.
29 He said to her, “For this saying, go your way. The demon has gone out of your daughter.”
30 And she went home and found the demon was gone, and her daughter was lying on the bed.
30 She went away to her house, and found the child having been laid on the bed, with the demon gone out.
31 Then Jesus left the region of Tyre and Sidon and went toward the Sea of Galilee and into the region of the Decapolis.
31 Again he departed from the borders of Tyre and Sidon, and came to the sea of Galilee through the middle of the region of Decapolis.
32 Some people brought to Him a man who was deaf and hardly able to speak, and they begged Jesus to place His hand on him.
32 They brought to him one who was deaf and had an impediment in his speech. They begged him to lay his hand on him.
33 So Jesus took him aside privately, away from the crowd, and put His fingers into the man’s ears. Then He spit and touched the man’s tongue. 33 Y tomándole aparte de la gente, metió sus dedos en las orejas de él, y escupiendo, tocó su lengua;
33 He took him aside from the multitude privately and put his fingers into his ears; and he spat and touched his tongue.
34 And looking up to heaven, He sighed deeply and said to him, “Ephphatha!” (which means, “Be opened!”). 34 Y mirando al cielo, gimió, y le dijo: Ephphatha: que es [decir]: Sé abierto.
34 Looking up to heaven, he sighed, and said to him, “Ephphatha!” that is, “Be opened!”
35 Immediately the man’s ears were opened and his tongue was released, and he began to speak plainly.
35 Immediately his ears were opened, and the impediment of his tongue was released, and he spoke clearly.
36 Jesus ordered them not to tell anyone. But the more He ordered them, the more widely they proclaimed it. 36 Y les mandó que no lo dijesen á nadie; pero cuanto más les mandaba, tanto más y más lo divulgaban.
36 He commanded them that they should tell no one, but the more he commanded them, so much the more widely they proclaimed it.
37 The people were utterly astonished and said, “He has done all things well! He makes even the deaf hear and the mute speak!” 37 Y en gran manera se maravillaban, diciendo: Bien lo ha hecho todo: hace á los sordos oir, y á los mudos hablar.
37 They were astonished beyond measure, saying, “He has done all things well. He makes even the deaf hear and the mute speak!”
