1 ―Ahora verás lo que le voy a hacer al faraón —le dijo el Señor—. Sólo por la fuerza dejará él salir a mi pueblo. Ah, pero no sólo los dejará salir, sino que los echará de la tierra de Egipto.

1 JEHOVÁ respondió á Moisés: Ahora verás lo que yo haré á Faraón; porque con mano fuerte los ha de dejar ir; y con mano fuerte los ha de echar de su tierra.

1 Yahweh said to Moses, “Now you shall see what I will do to Pharaoh, for by a strong hand he shall let them go, and by a strong hand he shall drive them out of his land.”

2 Yo soy el Señor, el Dios Todopoderoso que les apareció a Abraham, a Isaac y a Jacob, aunque a ellos no me revelé con mi nombre, que es “YO SOY”.

2 Habló todavía Dios á Moisés, y díjole: Yo soy JEHOVÁ;

2 God spoke to Moses, and said to him, “I am Yahweh.

3 Y aparecí á Abraham, á Isaac y á Jacob bajo [el nombre de] Dios Omnipotente, mas en mi nombre JEHOVÁ no me notifiqué á ellos.

3 I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, as God Almighty; but by my name Yahweh I was not known to them.

4 Con ellos establecí un pacto solemne en el que les prometí que les daría a ellos y a sus descendientes la tierra de Canaán, que era el lugar donde vivían como extranjeros.

4 Y también establecí mi pacto con ellos, de darles la tierra de Canaán, la tierra en que fueron extranjeros, y en la cual peregrinaron.

4 I have also established my covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their travels, in which they lived as aliens.

5 He oído ahora el clamor del pueblo de Israel, que sufre como esclavo de los egipcios, y me acuerdo de mi promesa.

5 Y asimismo yo he oído el gemido de los hijos de Israel, á quienes hacen servir los Egipcios, y heme acordado de mi pacto.

5 Moreover I have heard the groaning of the children of Israel, whom the Egyptians keep in bondage, and I have remembered my covenant.

6 Por lo tanto, diles a los descendientes de Israel que usaré todo mi poder y realizaré grandes milagros, para sacarlos de la esclavitud y hacerlos libres.

6 Por tanto dirás á los hijos de Israel: Yo JEHOVÁ; y yo os sacaré de debajo de las cargas de Egipto, y os libraré de su servidumbre, y os redimiré con brazo extendido, y con juicios grandes:

6 Therefore tell the children of Israel, ‘I am Yahweh, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm, and with great judgments.

7 Yo los aceptaré como pueblo mío, y seré el Dios de ellos. Y ellos sabrán que yo soy el Señor su Dios, que los he rescatado de los egipcios.

7 Y os tomaré por mi pueblo y seré vuestro Dios: y vosotros sabréis que yo soy Jehová vuestro Dios, que os saco de debajo de las cargas de Egipto:

7 I will take you to myself for a people. I will be your God; and you shall know that I am Yahweh your God, who brings you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.

8 Yo los introduciré en la tierra que prometí darles a Abraham, a Isaac y a Jacob. Sí, yo les daré a ustedes esa tierra. Moisés le contó al pueblo lo que Dios había dicho; pero ellos estaban muy contrariados por las trágicas consecuencias de lo que les había dicho anteriormente, y no quisieron oírlo.

8 Y os meteré en la tierra, por la cual alcé mi mano que la daría á Abraham, á Isaac y á Jacob: y yo os la daré por heredad. Yo JEHOVÁ.

8 I will bring you into the land which I swore to give to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; and I will give it to you for a heritage: I am Yahweh.’”

9 De esta manera habló Moisés á los hijos de Israel: mas ellos no escuchaban á Moisés á causa de la congoja de espíritu, y de la dura servidumbre.

9 Moses spoke so to the children of Israel, but they didn’t listen to Moses for anguish of spirit, and for cruel bondage.

10 Nuevamente el Señor le habló a Moisés y le dijo:

10 Y habló Jehová á Moisés, diciendo:

10 Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

11 ―Vuelve al faraón y dile que tiene que dejar salir al pueblo de Israel.

11 Entra, y habla á Faraón rey de Egipto, que deje ir de su tierra á los hijos de Israel.

11 “Go in, speak to Pharaoh king of Egypt, that he let the children of Israel go out of his land.”

12 ―Pero, si ni siquiera mi propio pueblo quiso oírme, ¿cómo puedo esperar que el faraón me oiga? Yo no tengo el poder de convicción —objetó Moisés.

12 Y respondió Moisés delante de Jehová, diciendo: He aquí, los hijos de Israel no me escuchan: ¿cómo pues me escuchará Faraón, mayormente siendo yo incircunciso de labios?

12 Moses spoke before Yahweh, saying, “Behold, the children of Israel haven’t listened to me. How then shall Pharaoh listen to me, when I have uncircumcised lips?”

13 Entonces el Señor les ordenó a Moisés y a Aarón que regresaran al pueblo de Israel, y se presentaran delante del faraón para exigirle que permitiera la salida del pueblo.

13 Entonces Jehová habló á Moisés y á Aarón, y dióles mandamiento para los hijos de Israel, y para Faraón rey de Egipto, para que sacasen á los hijos de Israel de la tierra de Egipto.

13 Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Aaron, and gave them a command to the children of Israel, and to Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt.

14 Estos son los nombres de los jefes de los clanes de las diversas tribus de Israel: Los hijos de Rubén, hijo mayor de Israel: Janoc, Falú, Jezrón y Carmí.

14 Estas son las cabezas de las familias de sus padres. Los hijos de Rubén, el primogénito de Israel: Hanoch y Phallú, Hezrón y Carmi: estas son las familias de Rubén.

14 These are the heads of their fathers’ houses. The sons of Reuben the firstborn of Israel: Hanoch, and Pallu, Hezron, and Carmi; these are the families of Reuben.

15 Los jefes de los clanes de la tribu de Simeón: Jemuel, Jamín, Oad, Jaquín, Zojar y Saúl, cuya madre era una cananea.

15 Los hijos de Simeón: Jemuel, y Jamín, y Ohad, y Jachîn, y Zoar, y Saúl, hijo de una Cananea: estas son las familias de Simeón.

15 The sons of Simeon: Jemuel, and Jamin, and Ohad, and Jachin, and Zohar, and Shaul the son of a Canaanite woman; these are the families of Simeon.

16 Estos son los nombres de los jefes de los clanes de la tribu de Leví, por orden de edad: Guersón, Coat y Merari. Leví vivió ciento treinta y siete años.

16 Y estos son los nombres de los hijos de Leví por sus linajes: Gersón, y Coath, y Merari. Y los años de la vida de Leví fueron ciento treinta y siete años.

16 These are the names of the sons of Levi according to their generations: Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari; and the years of the life of Levi were one hundred thirty-seven years.

17 Los hijos de Guersón fueron: Libní y Simí, con sus respectivos clanes.

17 Y los hijos de Gersón: Libni, y Shimi, por sus familias.

17 The sons of Gershon: Libni and Shimei, according to their families.

18 Los hijos de Coat: Amirán, Izar, Hebrón y Uziel. Coat vivió ciento treinta y tres años.

18 Y los hijos de Coath: Amram, é Izhar, y Hebrón, y Uzziel. Y los años de la vida de Coath fueron ciento treinta y tres años.

18 The sons of Kohath: Amram, and Izhar, and Hebron, and Uzziel; and the years of the life of Kohath were one hundred thirty-three years.

19 Los hijos de Merari: Majlí y Musí. Estas, pues, son las familias de los levitas, según el orden de sus edades.

19 Y los hijos de Merari: Mahali, y Musi: estas son las familias de Leví por sus linajes.

19 The sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi. These are the families of the Levites according to their generations.

20 Amirán se casó con su tía Jocabed. De esta unión nacieron Aarón y Moisés. Amirán vivió hasta los ciento treinta y siete años.

20 Y Amram tomó por mujer á Jochêbed su tía; la cual le parió á Aarón y á Moisés. Y los años de la vida de Amram fueron ciento treinta y siete años.

20 Amram took Jochebed his father’s sister to himself as wife; and she bore him Aaron and Moses. The years of the life of Amram were one hundred thirty-seven years.

21 Los hijos de Izar fueron: Coré, Néfeg y Zicrí.

21 Y los hijos de Izhar: Cora, y Nepheg y Zithri.

21 The sons of Izhar: Korah, and Nepheg, and Zichri.

22 Los hijos de Uziel: Misael, Elzafán y Sitri.

22 Y los hijos de Uzziel: Misael, y Elzaphán y Zithri.

22 The sons of Uzziel: Mishael, Elzaphan, and Sithri.

23 Aarón se casó con Elisabet, la hija de Aminadab y hermana de Naasón. Tuvieron los siguientes hijos: Nadab, Abiú, Eleazar e Itamar.

23 Y tomóse Aarón por mujer á Elisabeth, hija de Aminadab, hermana de Naasón; la cual le parió á Nadab, y á Abiú, y á Eleazar y á Ithamar.

23 Aaron took Elisheba, the daughter of Amminadab, the sister of Nahshon, as his wife; and she bore him Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.

24 Los hijos de Coré fueron: Asir, Elcaná y Abiasaf. Estas fueron las familias del clan de Coré.

24 Y los hijos de Cora: Assir, y Elcana, y Abiasaph: estas son las familias de los Coritas.

24 The sons of Korah: Assir, Elkanah, and Abiasaph; these are the families of the Korahites.

25 Eleazar hijo de Aarón se casó con una de las hijas de Futiel, y uno de sus hijos fue Finés. Estos son los nombres de todos los jefes de clanes de los levitas, y de las familias que había dentro de los clanes.

25 Y Eleazar, hijo de Aarón, tomó para sí mujer de las hijas de Phutiel, la cual le parió á Phinees: y estas son las cabezas de los padres de los Levitas por sus familias.

25 Eleazar Aaron’s son took one of the daughters of Putiel as his wife; and she bore him Phinehas. These are the heads of the fathers’ houses of the Levites according to their families.

26 Aarón y Moisés, incluidos en esta lista, son los mismos a quienes el Señor les dijo: «Saquen al pueblo de Israel de la tierra de Egipto»,

26 Este es aquel Aarón y aquel Moisés, á los cuales Jehová dijo: Sacad á los hijos de Israel de la tierra de Egipto por sus escuadrones.

26 These are that Aaron and Moses to whom Yahweh said, “Bring out the children of Israel from the land of Egypt according to their armies.”

27 y que fueron a ver al faraón para pedirle que dejara salir al pueblo.

27 Estos son los que hablaron á Faraón rey de Egipto, para sacar de Egipto á los hijos de Israel. Moisés y Aarón fueron estos.

27 These are those who spoke to Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring out the children of Israel from Egypt. These are that Moses and Aaron.

28 Este Moisés es el mismo a quien el Señor le había dicho: «Yo soy el Señor, anda y dale al faraón el mensaje que te he dado».

28 Cuando Jehová habló á Moisés en la tierra de Egipto,

28 On the day when Yahweh spoke to Moses in the land of Egypt,

29 Entonces Jehová habló á Moisés, diciendo: Yo soy JEHOVÁ; di á Faraón rey de Egipto todas las cosas que yo te digo á ti.

29 Yahweh said to Moses, “I am Yahweh. Tell Pharaoh king of Egypt all that I tell you.”

30 Este es aquel Moisés que le respondió al Señor: «Yo no puedo hacerlo. Yo no tengo el poder de convicción. ¡El faraón no me oirá!».

30 Y Moisés respondió delante de Jehová: He aquí, yo soy incircunciso de labios, ¿cómo pues me ha de oir Faraón?

30 Moses said before Yahweh, “Behold, I am of uncircumcised lips, and how shall Pharaoh listen to me?”
