PT1904 Texto Patriarcal 1904 (acentuado, edición de eBible)
1 A ovo je glava od toga što govorimo: imamo takvog Poglavara svešteničkog koji sedi s desne strane prestola Veličine na nebesima;
8 Jer kudeći ih govori: Evo dani idu, govori Gospod, i načiniću s domom Izrailjevim i s domom Judinim nov zavet;
11 I nijedan neće učiti svog bližnjeg, i nijedan brata svog, govoreći: Poznaj Gospoda; jer će me svi poznati od malog do velikog među njima.
12 Jer ću biti milostiv nepravdama njihovim, i grehe njihove i bezakonja njihova neću više spominjati.
13 A kad veli: nov zavet, prvi načini vethim; a šta je vetho i ostarelo, blizu je kraja.

  1. Comentario 8:1 John Chrysostom, Homilies on Hebrews (Homily XIV)

    Paul mixes the lowly things with the lofty, ever imitating his Master, so that the lowly become the path to the lofty, and through the former we are led to the latter, and when we are amid the great things we learn that these [lowly ones] were a condescension. This accordingly he does here also.

  2. Cita 8:8–10 Augustine of Hippo, The City of God (Book XVII)

    … of Israel: after those days, saith the Lord, I will give my laws in their mind, and will write them upon their hearts, and I will see to them; and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people;" --without doubt this is prophesied to the Jerusalem above, whose reward is God Himself, and …

  3. Cita 8:8–11 John Chrysostom, Homilies on the Gospel of Matthew (Homily I)

    … thou mayest learn that this was far better, hear what He saith by the Prophet: "I will make a new covenant with you, putting my laws into their mind, and in their heart I will write them," and, "they shall be all taught of God." And Paul too, pointing out the same superiority, said, that they had received a law …

  4. Cita 8:1 Basil of Caesarea, On the Holy Spirit (Chapter VI)

    … when Paul testified in the spirit concerning Christ "that he is at the right hand of God;" when the Father says, "Sit thou on my right hand;" when the Holy Spirit bears witness that he has sat down on "the right hand of the majesty" of God; we attempt to degrade him who shares the honour and the throne, from …
