1 وَأَرْسَلَ حِيرَامُ مَلِكُ صُورَ عَبِيدَهُ إِلَى سُلَيْمَانَ، لِأَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَنَّهُمْ مَسَحُوهُ مَلِكًا مَكَانَ أَبِيهِ، لِأَنَّ حِيرَامَ كَانَ مُحِبًّا لِدَاوُدَ كُلَّ ٱلْأَيَّامِ.
1 HIRAM rey de Tiro envió también sus siervos á Salomón, luego que oyó que lo habían ungido por rey en lugar de su padre: porque Hiram había siempre amado á David.
1 Hiram king of Tyre sent his servants to Solomon, for he had heard that they had anointed him king in the place of his father, and Hiram had always loved David.
2 فَأَرْسَلَ سُلَيْمَانُ إِلَى حِيرَامَ يَقُولُ:
2 Entonces Salomón envió á decir á Hiram:
2 Solomon sent to Hiram, saying,
3 «أَنْتَ تَعْلَمُ دَاوُدَ أَبِي أَنَّهُ لَمْ يَسْتَطِعْ أَنْ يَبْنِيَ بَيْتًا لِٱسْمِ ٱلرَّبِّ إِلَهِهِ بِسَبَبِ ٱلْحُرُوبِ ٱلَّتِي أَحَاطَتْ بِهِ، حَتَّى جَعَلَهُمُ ٱلرَّبُّ تَحْتَ بَطْنِ قَدَمَيْهِ.
3 Tú sabes como mi padre David no pudo edificar casa al nombre de Jehová su Dios, por las guerras que le cercaron, hasta que Jehová puso [sus enemigos] bajo las plantas de sus pies.
3 “You know that David my father could not build a house for the name of Yahweh his God because of the wars which were around him on every side, until Yahweh put his enemies under the soles of his feet.
4 وَٱلْآنَ فَقَدْ أَرَاحَنِيَ ٱلرَّبُّ إِلَهِي مِنْ كُلِّ ٱلْجِهَاتِ فَلَا يُوجَدُ خَصْمٌ وَلَا حَادِثَةُ شَرٍّ.
4 Ahora Jehová mi Dios me ha dado reposo por todas partes; que ni hay adversarios, ni mal encuentro.
4 But now Yahweh my God has given me rest on every side. There is no enemy and no evil occurrence.
5 وَهَأَنَذَا قَائِلٌ عَلَى بِنَاءِ بَيْتٍ لِٱسْمِ ٱلرَّبِّ إِلَهِي كَمَا كَلَّمَ ٱلرَّبُّ دَاوُدَ أَبِي قَائِلًا: إِنَّ ٱبْنَكَ ٱلَّذِي أَجْعَلُهُ مَكَانَكَ عَلَى كُرْسِيِّكَ هُوَ يَبْنِي ٱلْبَيْتَ لِٱسْمِي.
5 Yo por tanto he determinado ahora edificar casa al nombre de Jehová mi Dios, como Jehová lo habló á David mi padre, diciendo: Tu hijo, que yo pondré en lugar tuyo en tu trono, él edificará casa á mi nombre.
5 Behold, I intend to build a house for the name of Yahweh my God, as Yahweh spoke to David my father, saying, ‘Your son, whom I will set on your throne in your place shall build the house for my name.’
6 وَٱلْآنَ فَأْمُرْ أَنْ يَقْطَعُوا لِي أَرْزًا مِنْ لُبْنَانَ، وَيَكُونُ عَبِيدِي مَعَ عَبِيدِكَ، وَأُجْرَةُ عَبِيدِكَ أُعْطِيكَ إِيَّاهَا حَسَبَ كُلِّ مَا تَقُولُ، لِأَنَّكَ تَعْلَمُ أَنَّهُ لَيْسَ بَيْنَنَا أَحَدٌ يَعْرِفُ قَطْعَ ٱلْخَشَبِ مِثْلَ ٱلصِّيْدُونِيِّينَ».
6 Manda pues ahora que me corten cedros del Líbano; y mis siervos estarán con los tuyos, y yo te daré por tus siervos el salario que tú dijeres: porque tú sabes bien que ninguno hay entre nosotros que sepa labrar la madera como los Sidonios.
6 Now therefore command that cedar trees be cut for me out of Lebanon. My servants will be with your servants; and I will give you wages for your servants according to all that you say. For you know that there is nobody among us who knows how to cut timber like the Sidonians.”
7 فَلَمَّا سَمِعَ حِيرَامُ كَلَامَ سُلَيْمَانَ، فَرِحَ جِدًّا وَقَالَ: «مُبَارَكٌ ٱلْيَوْمَ ٱلرَّبُّ ٱلَّذِي أَعْطَى دَاوُدَ ٱبْنًا حَكِيمًا عَلَى هَذَا ٱلشَّعْبِ ٱلْكَثِيرِ».
7 Y como Hiram oyó las palabras de Salomón, holgóse en gran manera, y dijo: Bendito sea hoy Jehová, que dió hijo sabio á David sobre este pueblo tan grande.
7 When Hiram heard the words of Solomon, he rejoiced greatly, and said, “Blessed is Yahweh today, who has given to David a wise son to rule over this great people.”
8 وَأَرْسَلَ حِيرَامُ إِلَى سُلَيْمَانَ قَائِلًا: «قَدْ سَمِعْتُ مَا أَرْسَلْتَ بِهِ إِلَيَّ. أَنَا أَفْعَلُ كُلَّ مَسَرَّتِكَ فِي خَشَبِ ٱلْأَرْزِ وَخَشَبِ ٱلسَّرْوِ.
8 Y envió Hiram á decir á Salomón: He oído lo que me mandaste [á decir]: yo haré todo lo que te pluguiere acerca de la madera de cedro, y la madera de haya.
8 Hiram sent to Solomon, saying, “I have heard the message which you have sent to me. I will do all your desire concerning timber of cedar, and concerning cypress timber.
9 عَبِيدِي يُنْزِلُونَ ذَلِكَ مِنْ لُبْنَانَ إِلَى ٱلْبَحْرِ، وَأَنَا أَجْعَلُهُ أَرْمَاثًا فِي ٱلْبَحْرِ إِلَى ٱلْمَوْضِعِ ٱلَّذِي تُعَرِّفُنِي عَنْهُ وَأَنْفُضُهُ هُنَاكَ، وَأَنْتَ تَحْمِلُهُ، وَأَنْتَ تَعْمَلُ مَرْضَاتِي بِإِعْطَائِكَ طَعَامًا لِبَيْتِي».
9 Mis siervos la llevarán desde el Líbano á la mar; y yo la pondré en balsas por la mar hasta el lugar que tú me señalares, y allí se desatará, y tú la tomarás: y tú harás mi voluntad en dar de comer á mi familia.
9 My servants will bring them down from Lebanon to the sea. I will make them into rafts to go by sea to the place that you specify to me, and will cause them to be broken up there, and you will receive them. You will accomplish my desire, in giving food for my household.”
10 فَكَانَ حِيرَامُ يُعْطِي سُلَيْمَانَ خَشَبَ أَرْزٍ وَخَشَبَ سَرْوٍ حَسَبَ كُلِّ مَسَرَّتِهِ.
10 Dió pues Hiram á Salomón madera de cedro y madera de haya todo lo que quiso.
10 So Hiram gave Solomon cedar timber and cypress timber according to all his desire.
11 وَأَعْطَى سُلَيْمَانُ حِيرَامَ عِشْرِينَ أَلْفَ كُرِّ حِنْطَةٍ طَعَامًا لِبَيْتِهِ، وَعِشْرِينَ كُرَّ زَيْتِ رَضٍّ. هَكَذَا كَانَ سُلَيْمَانُ يُعْطِي حِيرَامَ سَنَةً فَسَنَةً.
11 Y Salomón daba á Hiram veinte mil coros de trigo para el sustento de su familia, y veinte coros de aceite limpio: esto daba Salomón á Hiram cada un año.
11 Solomon gave Hiram twenty thousand cors of wheat for food to his household, and twenty cors of pure oil. Solomon gave this to Hiram year by year.
12 وَٱلرَّبُّ أَعْطَى سُلَيْمَانَ حِكْمَةً كَمَا كَلَّمَهُ. وَكَانَ صُلْحٌ بَيْنَ حِيرَامَ وَسُلَيْمَانَ، وَقَطَعَا كِلَاهُمَا عَهْدًا.
12 Dió pues Jehová á Salomón sabiduría como le había dicho: y hubo paz entre Hiram y Salomón, é hicieron alianza entre ambos.
12 Yahweh gave Solomon wisdom, as he promised him. There was peace between Hiram and Solomon, and the two of them made a treaty together.
13 وَسَخَّرَ ٱلْمَلِكُ سُلَيْمَانُ مِنْ جَمِيعِ إِسْرَائِيلَ، وَكَانَتِ ٱلسُّخَرُ ثَلَاثِينَ أَلْفَ رَجُلٍ.
13 Y el rey Salomón impuso tributo á todo Israel, y el tributo fué de treinta mil hombres:
13 King Solomon raised a levy out of all Israel; and the levy was thirty thousand men.
14 فَأَرْسَلَهُمْ إِلَى لُبْنَانَ عَشْرَةَ آلَافٍ فِي ٱلشَّهْرِ بِٱلنَّوْبَةِ. يَكُونُونَ شَهْرًا فِي لُبْنَانَ وَشَهْرَيْنِ فِي بُيُوتِهِمْ. وَكَانَ أَدُونِيرَامُ عَلَى ٱلتَّسْخِيرِ.
14 Los cuales enviaba al Líbano de diez mil en diez mil, cada mes por su turno, viniendo así á estar un mes en el Líbano, y dos meses en sus casas: y Adoniram estaba sobre aquel tributo.
14 He sent them to Lebanon, ten thousand a month by courses: for a month they were in Lebanon, and two months at home; and Adoniram was over the men subject to forced labor.
15 وَكَانَ لِسُلَيْمَانَ سَبْعُونَ أَلْفًا يَحْمِلُونَ أَحْمَالًا، وَثَمَانُونَ أَلْفًا يَقْطَعُونَ فِي ٱلْجَبَلِ،
15 Tenía también Salomón setenta mil que llevaban las cargas, y ochenta mil cortadores en el monte;
15 Solomon had seventy thousand who bore burdens, and eighty thousand who were stone cutters in the mountains,
16 مَا عَدَا رُؤَسَاءَ ٱلْوُكَلَاءِ لِسُلَيْمَانَ ٱلَّذِينَ عَلَى ٱلْعَمَلِ ثَلَاثَةَ آلَافٍ وَثَلَاثَ مِئَةٍ، ٱلْمُتَسَلِّطِينَ عَلَى ٱلشَّعْبِ ٱلْعَامِلِينَ ٱلْعَمَلَ.
16 Sin los principales oficiales de Salomón que estaban sobre la obra, tres mil y trescientos, los cuales tenían cargo del pueblo que hacía la obra.
16 besides Solomon’s chief officers who were over the work: three thousand three hundred who ruled over the people who labored in the work.
17 وَأَمَرَ ٱلْمَلِكُ أَنْ يَقْلَعُوا حِجَارَةً كَبِيرَةً، حِجَارَةً كَرِيمَةً لِتَأْسِيسِ ٱلْبَيْتِ، حِجَارَةً مُرَبَّعَةً.
17 Y mandó el rey que trajesen grandes piedras, piedras de precio, para los cimientos de la casa, y piedras labradas.
17 The king commanded, and they cut out large stones, costly stones, to lay the foundation of the house with worked stone.
18 فَنَحَتَهَا بَنَّاؤُو سُلَيْمَانَ، وَبَنَّاؤُو حِيرَامَ وَٱلْجِبْلِيُّونَ، وَهَيَّأُوا ٱلْأَخْشَابَ وَٱلْحِجَارَةَ لِبِنَاءِ ٱلْبَيْتِ.
18 Y los albañiles de Salomón y los de Hiram, y los aparejadores, cortaron y aparejaron la madera y la cantería para labrar la casa.
18 Solomon’s builders and Hiram’s builders and the Gebalites cut them, and prepared the timber and the stones to build the house.
