1 После сего избраны были к отправлению родоначальники по коленам их, и жены их, и сыновья их, и дочери их, и рабы их, и рабыни их со скотом их.
1 After this, the chiefs of fathers’ houses were chosen to go up according to their tribes, with their wives, sons, and daughters, with their menservants and maidservants, and their livestock.
2 Дарий послал с ними тысячу конников, доколе они не введут их в Иерусалим с миром, с музыкою, с тимпанами и трубами.
2 Darius sent with them one thousand cavalry to bring them back to Jerusalem with peace, with musical instruments, drums, and flutes.
3 И все братья их веселились, и царь дозволил им идти вместе.
3 All their kindred were making merry, and he made them go up together with them.
4 И вот имена мужей, шедших по племенам их в коленах по старшинству их:
4 These are the names of the men who went up, according to their families among their tribes, after their several divisions.
5 священники, сыны Финееса, сыны Аарона, Иисус, сын Иоседека, сына Сареева, и Иоаким, сын Зоровавеля, сына Салафииля из дома Давидова, из рода Фареса, колена же Иудова,
5 The priests, the sons of Phinees, the sons of Aaron: Jesus the son of Josedek, the son of Saraias, and Joakim the son of Zorobabel, the son of Salathiel, of the house of David, of the lineage of Phares, of the tribe of Judah,
6 который говорил пред Дарием, царем Персидским, мудрые слова на втором году царствования его, в месяце Нисане, месяце первом.
6 who spoke wise words before Darius the king of Persia in the second year of his reign, in the month Nisan, which is the first month.
7 Вот Иудеи, вышедшие из плена переселения, которых переселил в Вавилон Навуходоносор, царь Вавилонский,
7 These are the of Judeans who came up from the captivity, where they lived as foreigners, whom Nabuchodonosor the king of Babylon had carried away to Babylon.
8 и которые возвратились в Иерусалим и в прочие места Иудеи, каждый в свой город, - вышедшие с Зоровавелем и Иисусом, Неемиею, Зареем, Рисеем, Енинеем, Мардохеем, Веельсаром, Асфарасом, Реелием, Роимом, Вааною, начальниками их.
8 They returned to Jerusalem and to the other parts of Judea, every man to his own city, who came with Zorobabel, with Jesus, Nehemias, Zaraias, Resaias, Eneneus, Mardocheus, Beelsarus, Aspharsus, Reelias, Roimus, and Baana, their leaders.
9 Число народа с начальниками их: сынов Фороса две тысячи сто семьдесят два; сынов Сафата четыреста семьдесят два;
9 The number of them of the nation and their leaders: the sons of Phoros, two thousand one hundred seventy two; the sons of Saphat, four hundred seventy two;
10 сынов Ареса семьсот пятьдесят шесть;
10 the sons of Ares, seven hundred fifty six;
11 сынов Фааф-Моава с сынами Иисуса и Иоава две тысячи восемьсот двенадцать;
11 the sons of Phaath Moab, of the sons of Jesus and Joab, two thousand eight hundred twelve;
12 сынов Илама тысяча двести пятьдесят четыре; сынов Зафуи девятьсот семьдесят пять; сынов Хорве семьсот пять; сынов Ванния шестьсот сорок восемь;
12 the sons of Elam, one thousand two hundred fifty four; the sons of Zathui, nine hundred forty five; the sons of Chorbe, seven hundred five; the sons of Bani, six hundred forty eight;

24 The priests: the sons of Jeddu, the son of Jesus, among the sons of Sanasib, nine hundred seventy two; the sons of Emmeruth, one thousand fifty two;

25 the sons of Phassurus, one thousand two hundred forty seven; and the sons of Charme, one thousand seventeen.
26 Левитов, сынов Иисуса и Кадмиила и Ванны и Судия, семьдесят четыре.
26 The Levites: the sons of Jesus, Kadmiel, Bannas, and Sudias, seventy four.
27 Священнопевцов, сынов Асафа, сто сорок.
27 The holy singers: the sons of Asaph, one hundred twenty eight.
28 Привратников, сынов Салума, сынов Атара, сынов Толмана, сынов Дакува, сынов Атита, сынов Товиса, всех сто тридцать девять.
28 The gatekeepers: the sons of Salum, the sons of Atar, the sons of Tolman, the sons of Dacubi, the sons of Ateta, the sons of Sabi, in all one hundred thirty nine.
29 Служителей при храме, сынов Исава, сынов Асифа, сынов Таваофа, сынов Кираса, сынов Суда, сынов Фалея, сынов Лавана, сынов Аграва,
29 The temple servants: the sons of Esau, the sons of Asipha, the sons of Tabaoth, the sons of Keras, the sons of Sua, the sons of Phaleas, the sons of Labana, the sons of Aggaba.
30 сынов Акуда, сынов Ута, сынов Китава, сынов Аккава, сынов Сивая, сынов Анана, сынов Кафуа, сынов Геддура,
30 the sons of Acud, the sons of Uta, the sons of Ketab, the sons of Accaba, the sons of Subai, the sons of Anan, the sons of Cathua, the sons of Geddur,

31 the sons of Jairus, the sons of Daisan, the sons of Noeba, the sons of Chaseba, the sons of Gazera, the sons of Ozias, the sons of Phinoe, the sons of Asara, the sons of Basthai, the sons of Asana, the sons of Maani, the sons of Naphisi, the sons of Acub, the sons of Achipha, the sons of Asur, the sons of Pharakim, the sons of Basaloth,
32 сынов Меедда, сынов Куфа, сынов Хареа, сынов Вархуе, сынов Серара, сынов Фомоя, сынов Наси, сынов Атефа,
32 the sons of Meedda, the sons of Cutha, the sons of Charea, the sons of Barchus, the sons of Serar, the sons of Thomei, the sons of Nasi, the sons of Atipha.
33 сынов рабов Соломоновых, сынов Ассапфиофа, сынов Фарира, сынов Иеили, сынов Лозона, сынов Исдаила, сынов Сафии,
33 The sons of the servants of Solomon: the sons of Assaphioth, the sons of Pharida, the sons of Jeeli, the sons of Lozon, the sons of Isdael, the sons of Saphuthi,
34 сынов Агия, сынов Фахарефа, сынов Савии, сынов Сарофи, сынов Мисея, сынов Гаса, сынов Аддуса, сынов Сува, сынов Аферра, сынов Вародиса, сынов Сафага, сынов Аллома,
34 the sons of Agia, the sons of Phacareth, the sons of Sabie, the sons of Sarothie, the sons of Masias, the sons of Gas, the sons of Addus, the sons of Subas, the sons of Apherra, the sons of Barodis, the sons of Saphat, the sons of Allon.
35 всех служителей при храме и сынов рабов Соломоновых триста семьдесят два.
35 All the temple-servants and the sons of the servants of Solomon were three hundred seventy two.
36 Вот вышедшие из Фермелефа и Фелерса: начальник их Хараафалан и Аалар.
36 These came up from Thermeleth, and Thelersas, Charaathalan leading them, and Allar;
37 Но они не могли показать отечеств своих и родов, что они от Израиля: сынов Далана, сына Ваенанова, сынов Некодана, шестьсот пятьдесят два.
37 and they could not show their families, nor their stock, how they were of Israel: the sons of Dalan the son of Ban, the sons of Nekodan, six hundred fifty two.
38 И из священников были исправлявшие священнослужение, но не найденные в списке: сыны Овдия, сыны Аквоса, сыны Иадду, который взял в жену Авгию, из дочерей Верзеллия, и назывался его именем.
38 Of the priests, those who usurped the office of the priesthood and were not found: the sons of Obdia, the sons of Akkos, the sons of Jaddus, who married Augia one of the daughters of Zorzelleus, and was called after his name.
39 И как родовая запись их по изыскании не найдена в списке, то они отлучены от священства.
39 When the description of the kindred of these men was sought in the register and was not found, they were removed from executing the office of the priesthood;
40 И сказал им Неемия и Атфария, чтобы они не участвовали в святынях, доколе не восстанет первосвященник, облеченный в урим и туммим.
40 for Nehemias and Attharias told them that they should not be partakers of the holy things until a high priest wearing Urim and Thummim should arise.
41 Всех же Израильтян от двенадцати лет и выше, кроме рабов и рабынь, было сорок две тысячи триста шестьдесят; рабов их и рабынь семь тысяч триста сорок семь; певцов и псалмопевцев двести сорок пять.
41 So all those of Israel, from twelve years old and upward, beside menservants and women servants, were in number forty two thousand three hundred sixty.
42 Верблюдов четыреста тридцать пять, коней семь тысяч тридцать шесть, лошаков двести сорок пять, подъяремного скота пять тысяч пятьсот двадцать пять.
42 Their menservants and handmaids were seven thousand three hundred thirty and seven; the minstrels and singers, two hundred forty five;
43 Некоторые из родоначальников, когда пришли они ко храму Бога в Иерусалиме, дали обещание воздвигнуть сей дом на месте его по силе своей
43 four hundred thirty and five camels, seven thousand thirty six horses, two hundred forty five mules, and five thousand five hundred twenty five beasts of burden.
44 и дать в сокровищницу храма на построение тысячу мин золота и пять тысяч мин серебра и сто священнических одежд.
44 And some of the chief men of their families, when they came to the temple of God that is in Jerusalem, vowed to set up the house again in its own place according to their ability,
45 И поселились священники и левиты и некоторые из народа в Иерусалиме и области его, а священнопевцы и привратники и весь Израиль в селениях своих.
45 and to give into the holy treasury of the works one thousand minas of gold, five thousand minas of silver, and one hundred priestly vestments.
46 Когда же настал седьмой месяц и сыны Израиля были уже каждый во владении своем, собрались все единодушно на открытое место при первых воротах на восток.
46 The priests and the Levites and some of the people lived in Jerusalem and the country. The holy singers also and the gatekeepers and all Israel lived in their villages.
47 И встал Иисус, сын Иоседека, и братья его священники, и Зоровавель, сын Салафииля, и братья его, и устроили жертвенник Богу Израиля,
47 But when the seventh month was at hand, and when the children of Israel were each in their own place, they all came together with one purpose into the broad place before the first porch which is toward the east.
48 чтобы возносить на нем всесожжения, как предписано в книге Моисея, человека Божия.
48 Then Jesus the son of Josedek, his kindred the priests, Zorobabel the son of Salathiel, and his kindred stood up and made the altar of the God of Israel ready
49 И собрались к ним от иных народов, бывших в той земле, и устроили жертвенник на своем месте, ибо были во вражде с ними, и одолевали их все народы, бывшие в той земле; и они возносили жертвы в свое время и всесожжения Господу, утреннее и вечернее.
49 to offer burned sacrifices upon it, in accordance with the express commands in the book of Moses the man of God.
50 И совершили праздник кущей, как предписано законом, вознося каждодневные жертвы, как надлежало,
50 Some people joined them out of the other nations of the land, and they erected the altar upon its own place, because all the nations of the land were hostile to them and oppressed them; and they offered sacrifices at the proper times and burnt offerings to the Lord both morning and evening.
51 и потом непрестанные приношения и жертвы суббот и новомесячий и всех святых праздников.
51 They also held the feast of tabernacles, as it is commanded in the law, and offered sacrifices daily, as appropriate.
52 И все те, которые обещали обеты Богу, с новомесячия седьмого месяца начали приносить жертвы Богу, хотя храм не был еще построен.
52 After that, they offered the continual oblations and the sacrifices of the Sabbaths, of the new moons, and of all the consecrated feasts.
53 И давали серебро каменотесам и плотникам и питье и пищу, и повозки Сидонянам и Тирянам, чтобы они привозили с Ливана кедровые дерева, доставляя их плотами в Иоппийскую пристань, по приказанию, данному им от Кира, царя Персидского.
53 All those who had made any vow to God began to offer sacrifices to God from the new moon of the seventh month, although the temple of God was not yet built.
54 И на втором году во втором месяце, по прибытии ко храму Божию в Иерусалиме, Зоровавель, сын Салафииля, и Иисус, сын Иоседека, и братья их и священники, левиты и все, пришедшие в Иерусалим из плена,
54 They gave money, food, and drink to the masons and carpenters.
55 положили основание храму Божию в новолуние второго месяца второго года по прибытии их в Иудею и Иерусалим
55 They also gave carts to the people of Sidon and Tyre, that they should bring cedar trees from Libanus, and convey them in rafts to the harbor of Joppa, according to the commandment which was written for them by Cyrus king of the Persians.
56 и приставили левитов от двадцати лет к делам Господним: и стал Иисус и сыновья его и братья, и Кадмиил брат и сыновья Имадавуна и сыновья Иода, сына Илиадудова, с сыновьями и братьями, все левиты, единодушно побуждая к делам в доме Господнем. И построили строители храм Господа.
56 In the second year after his coming to the temple of God at Jerusalem, in the second month, Zorobabel the son of Salathiel, Jesus the son of Josedek, their kindred, the Levitical priests, and all those who had come to Jerusalem out of the captivity began work.
57 И стали священники в облачении с музыкальными инструментами и трубами и левиты, сыны Асафа, с кимвалами, воспевая Господу и прославляя Его по уставу Давида, царя Израильского,
57 They laid the foundation of God’s temple on the new moon of the second month, in the second year after they had come to Judea and Jerusalem.
58 и возглашали в песнях, прославляя Господа, что благость Его и слава вовек над всем Израилем.
58 They appointed the Levites who were at least twenty years old over the Lord’s works. Then Jesus, with his sons and kindred, Kadmiel his brother, the sons of Jesus, Emadabun, and the sons of Joda the son of Iliadun, and their sons and kindred, all the Levites, with one accord stood up and started the business, laboring to advance the works in the house of God. So the builders built the Lord’s temple.
59 И весь народ трубил и взывал громким голосом, прославляя Господа за восстановление дома Господня.
59 The priests stood arrayed in their vestments with musical instruments and trumpets, and the Levites the sons of Asaph with their cymbals,
60 А старейшие из священников и левитов и родоначальников, видевшие прежний храм, пришли теперь на строение с плачем и громким воплем,
60 singing songs of thanksgiving and praising the Lord, according to the directions of King David of Israel.
61 а многие с трубами и радостными громкими восклицаниями,
61 They sang aloud, praising the Lord in songs of thanksgiving, because his goodness and his glory are forever in all Israel.
62 так что народ не мог слышать труб по причине воплей народных; хотя собрание громко трубило, так что далеко слышно было.
62 All the people sounded trumpets and shouted with a loud voice, singing songs of thanksgiving to the Lord for the raising up of the Lord’s house.
63 И услышали враги колена Иудина и Вениаминова и пришли узнать, что значит этот трубный звук.
63 Some of the Levitical priests and of the heads of their families, the elderly who had seen the former house came to the building of this one with lamentation and great weeping.
64 И узнали, что возвратившиеся из плена строят храм Господу Богу Израилеву.
64 But many with trumpets and joy shouted with a loud voice,
65 И, приступив к Зоровавелю и Иисусу и к родоначальникам, говорят им: будем и мы строить вместе с вами;
65 so that the people couldn’t hear the trumpets for the weeping of the people, for the multitude sounded loudly, so that it was heard far away.
66 ибо и мы, подобно вам, слушаем Господа вашего и приносим Ему жертвы от дней Асвакафаса, царя Ассирийского, который переселил нас сюда.
66 Therefore when the enemies of the tribe of Judah and Benjamin heard it, they came to know what that noise of trumpets meant.
67 Тогда сказал им Зоровавель и Иисус и начальники племен Израильских: не с вами нам строить дом Господу Богу нашему;
67 They learned that those who returned from captivity built the temple for the Lord, the God of Israel.
68 мы одни будем строить его Господу Богу Израиля, соответственно тому, как повелел нам Кир, царь Персидский.
68 So they went to Zorobabel and Jesus, and to the chief men of the families, and said to them, “We will build together with you.
69 Тогда народы той земли, нападая на обитающих в Иудее и осаждая их, препятствовали строению
69 For we, just like you, obey your Lord, and sacrifice to him from the days of King Asbasareth of the Assyrians, who brought us here.”
70 и, коварством увлекая народ и производя смуты, препятствовали довершить строение во все время жизни царя Кира и остановили строение на два года до воцарения Дария.
70 Then Zorobabel, Jesus and the chief men of the families of Israel said to them, “It is not for you to build the house for the Lord our God. 71 We ourselves alone will build for the Lord of Israel, as King Cyrus of the Persians has commanded us.” 72 But the heathen of the land pressed hard upon the inhabitants of Judea, cut off their supplies, and hindered their building. 73 By their secret plots, and popular persuasions and commotions, they hindered the finishing of the building all the time that King Cyrus lived. So they were hindered from building for two years, until the reign of Darius.
