1 Then Bildad the Shuhite answered,
2 El dominio y el poder pertenecen a Dios; él establece la paz en las alturas.
2 “Dominion and fear are with him. He makes peace in his high places.
3 ¿Quién puede contar sus ejércitos? ¿Sobre quién no brilla su luz?
3 Can his armies be counted? On whom does his light not arise?
4 ¿Cómo puede un hombre ser justo ante Dios? ¿Cómo puede ser puro el nacido de mujer?
4 How then can man be just with God? Or how can he who is born of a woman be clean?
5 Ni siquiera la luna es brillante, ni las estrellas son puras ante sus ojos.
5 Behold, even the moon has no brightness, and the stars are not pure in his sight;
6 ¡Cuánto menos el hombre, que es un insecto, el hijo de hombre, que es un gusano!
6 How much less man, who is a worm, and the son of man, who is a worm!”
