2 «Habla a los hijos de Israel y diles: Yo soy el Señor su Dios.
2 Habla á los hijos de Israel, y diles: Yo soy Jehová vuestro Dios.
2 “Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them, ‘I am Yahweh your God.
3 No hagan lo que se hace en la tierra de Egipto, donde vivieron, ni lo que se hace en la tierra de Canaán, adonde los llevo. No sigan sus costumbres.
3 No haréis como hacen en la tierra de Egipto, en la cual morasteis; ni haréis como hacen en la tierra de Canaán, á la cual yo os conduzco; ni andaréis en sus estatutos.
3 You shall not do as they do in the land of Egypt, where you lived. You shall not do as they do in the land of Canaan, where I am bringing you. You shall not follow their statutes.
4 Cumplan mis decisiones y guarden mis leyes, viviendo de acuerdo con ellas. Yo soy el Señor su Dios.
4 Mis derechos pondréis por obra, y mis estatutos guardaréis, andando en ellos: Yo Jehová vuestro Dios.
4 You shall do my ordinances. You shall keep my statutes and walk in them. I am Yahweh your God.
5 Guarden mis leyes y mis decisiones. La persona que las cumpla vivirá por ellas. Yo soy el Señor.
5 Por tanto mis estatutos y mis derechos guardaréis, los cuales haciendo el hombre, vivirá en ellos: Yo Jehová.
5 You shall therefore keep my statutes and my ordinances, which if a man does, he shall live in them. I am Yahweh.
6 »Ninguno de ustedes tendrá relaciones sexuales con un pariente cercano. Yo soy el Señor.
6 Ningún varón se allegue á ninguna cercana de su carne, para descubrir [su] desnudez: Yo Jehová.
6 “‘None of you shall approach any close relatives, to uncover their nakedness: I am Yahweh.
7 No tendrás relaciones sexuales con tu madre, pues así deshonrarías a tu padre. Ella es tu madre; no tendrás relaciones sexuales con ella.
7 La desnudez de tu padre, ó la desnudez de tu madre, no descubrirás: tu madre es, no descubrirás su desnudez.
7 “‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father, nor the nakedness of your mother: she is your mother. You shall not uncover her nakedness.
8 No tendrás relaciones sexuales con la esposa de tu padre, pues así deshonrarías a tu padre.
8 La desnudez de la mujer de tu padre no descubrirás; es la desnudez de tu padre.
8 “‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father’s wife. It is your father’s nakedness.
9 No tendrás relaciones sexuales con tu hermana, sea hija de tu padre o de tu madre, haya nacido en la casa o fuera de ella.
9 La desnudez de tu hermana, hija de tu padre, ó hija de tu madre, nacida en casa ó nacida fuera, su desnudez no descubrirás.
9 “‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of your sister, the daughter of your father, or the daughter of your mother, whether born at home or born abroad.
10 No tendrás relaciones sexuales con tu nieta, sea hija de tu hijo o de tu hija, porque así te deshonrarías a ti mismo.
10 La desnudez de la hija de tu hijo, ó de la hija de tu hija, su desnudez no descubrirás, porque es la desnudez tuya.
10 “‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of your son’s daughter, or of your daughter’s daughter, even their nakedness; for theirs is your own nakedness.
11 No tendrás relaciones sexuales con la hija de la esposa de tu padre, si es hija de tu padre, porque es tu hermana.
11 La desnudez de la hija de la mujer de tu padre, engendrada de tu padre, tu hermana es, su desnudez no descubrirás.
11 “‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father’s wife’s daughter, conceived by your father, since she is your sister.
12 No tendrás relaciones sexuales con la hermana de tu padre, porque es parienta cercana de tu padre.
12 La desnudez de la hermana de tu padre no descubrirás: es parienta de tu padre.
12 “‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father’s sister. She is your father’s near kinswoman.
13 No tendrás relaciones sexuales con la hermana de tu madre, porque es parienta cercana de tu madre.
13 La desnudez de la hermana de tu madre no descubrirás: porque parienta de tu madre es.
13 “‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of your mother’s sister, for she is your mother’s near kinswoman.
14 No tendrás relaciones sexuales con la esposa del hermano de tu padre, porque es tu tía.
14 La desnudez del hermano de tu padre no descubrirás: no llegarás á su mujer: es mujer del hermano de tu padre.
14 “‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father’s brother. You shall not approach his wife. She is your aunt.
15 No tendrás relaciones sexuales con tu nuera, porque es la esposa de tu hijo.
15 La desnudez de tu nuera no descubrirás: mujer es de tu hijo; no descubrirás su desnudez.
15 “‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of your daughter-in-law. She is your son’s wife. You shall not uncover her nakedness.
16 No tendrás relaciones sexuales con la esposa de tu hermano, pues así deshonrarías a tu hermano.
16 La desnudez de la mujer de tu hermano no descubrirás: es la desnudez de tu hermano.
16 “‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of your brother’s wife. It is your brother’s nakedness.
17 No tendrás relaciones sexuales con una mujer y también con su hija. Tampoco tendrás relaciones sexuales con su nieta, sea hija de su hijo o de su hija. Ellas son parientes cercanas. Hacerlo sería una perversión.
17 La desnudez de la mujer y de su hija no descubrirás: no tomarás la hija de su hijo, ni la hija de su hija, para descubrir su desnudez: son parientas, es maldad.
17 “‘You shall not uncover the nakedness of a woman and her daughter. You shall not take her son’s daughter, or her daughter’s daughter, to uncover her nakedness. They are near kinswomen. It is wickedness.
18 Mientras viva tu esposa, no tomarás también a su hermana como esposa para tener relaciones sexuales con ella y hacerlas rivales.
18 No tomarás mujer juntamente con su hermana, para hacerla su rival, descubriendo su desnudez delante de ella en su vida.
18 “‘You shall not take a wife in addition to her sister, to be a rival, to uncover her nakedness, while her sister is still alive.
19 No tendrás relaciones sexuales con una mujer durante su menstruación.
19 Y no llegarás á la mujer en el apartamiento de su inmundicia, para descubrir su desnudez.
19 “‘You shall not approach a woman to uncover her nakedness, as long as she is impure by her uncleanness.
20 No tendrás relaciones sexuales con la esposa de tu prójimo, haciéndote impuro con ella.
20 Además, no tendrás acto carnal con la mujer de tu prójimo, contaminándote en ella.
20 “‘You shall not lie carnally with your neighbor’s wife, and defile yourself with her.
21 No entregarás a ninguno de tus hijos como ofrenda a Moloc. No profanarás así el nombre de tu Dios. Yo soy el Señor.
21 Y no des de tu simiente para hacerla pasar [por el fuego] á Moloch; no contamines el nombre de tu Dios: Yo Jehová.
21 “‘You shall not give any of your children as a sacrifice to Molech. You shall not profane the name of your God. I am Yahweh.
22 No tendrás relaciones sexuales con un hombre como se tienen con una mujer. Es algo repugnante.
22 No te echarás con varón como con mujer: es abominación.
22 “‘You shall not lie with a man as with a woman. That is detestable.
23 No tendrás relaciones sexuales con un animal, haciéndote impuro con él. Ninguna mujer se ofrecerá a un animal para tener relaciones con él. Es una perversión.
23 Ni con ningún animal tendrás ayuntamiento amancillándote con él; ni mujer alguna se pondrá delante de animal para ayuntarse con él: es confusión.
23 “‘You shall not lie with any animal to defile yourself with it. No woman may give herself to an animal, to lie down with it: it is a perversion.
24 »No se hagan impuros de ninguna de estas maneras. Las naciones que voy a expulsar delante de ustedes se hicieron impuras haciendo estas cosas.
24 En ninguna de estas cosas os amancillaréis; porque en todas estas cosas se han ensuciado las gentes que yo echo de delante de vosotros:
24 “‘Don’t defile yourselves in any of these things; for in all these the nations which I am casting out before you were defiled.
25 La tierra quedó impura, y yo la castigué por su maldad. Por eso la tierra expulsó a sus habitantes.
25 Y la tierra fué contaminada; y yo visité su maldad sobre ella, y la tierra vomitó sus moradores.
25 The land was defiled. Therefore I punished its iniquity, and the land vomited out her inhabitants.
26 Pero ustedes guardarán mis leyes y mis decisiones. Ni los israelitas de nacimiento ni los extranjeros que vivan entre ustedes harán ninguna de estas cosas repugnantes.
26 Guardad, pues, vosotros mis estatutos y mis derechos, y no hagáis ninguna de todas estas abominaciones: ni el natural ni el extranjero que peregrina entre vosotros.
26 You therefore shall keep my statutes and my ordinances, and shall not do any of these abominations; neither the native-born, nor the stranger who lives as a foreigner among you
27 Los habitantes que vivieron antes en esa tierra hicieron todas estas cosas repugnantes, y la tierra quedó impura.
27 (Porque todas estas abominaciones hicieron los hombres de la tierra, que fueron antes de vosotros, y la tierra fué contaminada:)
27 (for the men of the land that were before you had done all these abominations, and the land became defiled),
28 Si ustedes hacen impura la tierra, ella los expulsará como expulsó a las naciones que estaban allí antes que ustedes.
28 Y la tierra no os vomitará, por haberla contaminado, como vomitó á la gente que fué antes de vosotros.
28 that the land not vomit you out also, when you defile it, as it vomited out the nation that was before you.
29 Cualquiera que haga alguna de estas cosas repugnantes será excluido de su pueblo.
29 Porque cualquiera que hiciere alguna de todas estas abominaciones, las personas que las hicieren, serán cortadas de entre su pueblo.
29 “‘For whoever shall do any of these abominations, even the souls that do them shall be cut off from among their people.
30 Por eso guarden mis órdenes. No practiquen ninguna de las costumbres repugnantes que se practicaban antes de ustedes, ni se hagan impuros con ellas. Yo soy el Señor su Dios».
30 Guardad, pues, mi ordenanza, no haciendo de las prácticas abominables que tuvieron lugar antes de vosotros, y no os ensuciéis en ellas: Yo Jehová vuestro Dios.
30 Therefore you shall keep my requirements, that you do not practice any of these abominable customs which were practiced before you, and that you do not defile yourselves with them. I am Yahweh your God.’”
