- Exodus 36–39 follow the Septuagint's order; the digital source has no verse divisions there, so Exodus 36:8–end and chapters 37, 38 and 39 each appear as one block.
- Church Slavonic in its traditional (Synodal) spelling, with accents, breathings and titlo abbreviations, shown in the Ponomar font (SIL Open Font License).
- Not shown: the lectionary pericope numbers (зача́ло) and the marginal glosses of the digital source. The Prayer of Manasseh stands at the end of 2 Chronicles (36:24), as in the Slavonic Bible; the prologue of Sirach and the opening verse of Lamentations are joined to verse 1.

1 И҆ да сотвори́ши ѻ҆лта́рь ѿ дре́въ негнїю́щихъ, пѧтѝ лакѡ́тъ въ долготꙋ̀ и҆ пѧтѝ лакѡ́тъ въ широтꙋ̀: четвероꙋго́ленъ да бꙋ́детъ ѻ҆лта́рь, и҆ тре́хъ ла́ктїй высота̀ є҆гѡ̀.
1 HARÁS también altar de madera de Sittim de cinco codos de longitud, y de cinco codos de anchura: será cuadrado el altar, y su altura de tres codos.
1 “You shall make the altar of acacia wood, five cubits long, and five cubits wide. The altar shall be square. Its height shall be three cubits.
2 И҆ да сотвори́ши ро́ги на четы́рехъ ᲂу҆́глѣхъ: и҆з̾ негѡ̀ да бꙋ́дꙋтъ ро́ги, и҆ покры́еши ѧ҆̀ мѣ́дїю.
2 Y harás sus cuernos á sus cuatro esquinas; los cuernos serán de lo mismo; y lo cubrirás de metal.
2 You shall make its horns on its four corners. Its horns shall be of one piece with it. You shall overlay it with bronze.
3 И҆ да сотвори́ши вѣне́цъ ѻ҆лтарю̀: и҆ покро́въ є҆гѡ̀, и҆ фїа́лы є҆гѡ̀, и҆ ви̑лицы є҆гѡ̀, и҆ кади́льникъ є҆гѡ̀, и҆ всѧ̑ сосꙋ́ды є҆гѡ̀ да сотвори́ши мѣ̑дѧны.
3 Harás también sus calderas para echar su ceniza; y sus paletas, y sus tazones, y sus garfios, y sus braseros: harás todos sus vasos de metal.
3 You shall make its pots to take away its ashes; and its shovels, its basins, its meat hooks, and its fire pans. You shall make all its vessels of bronze.
4 И҆ да сотвори́ши є҆мꙋ̀ ѻ҆гни́ще на подо́бїе мре́жи мѣ́дѧно: и҆ сотвори́ши ѻ҆гни́щꙋ четы́ри кѡльца̀ мѣ̑дѧна на четы́ри страны̑,
4 Y le harás un enrejado de metal de obra de malla; y sobre el enrejado harás cuatro anillos de metal á sus cuatro esquinas.
4 You shall make a grating for it of network of bronze. On the net you shall make four bronze rings in its four corners.
5 и҆ подложи́ши ѧ҆̀ под̾ ѻ҆гни́ще ѻ҆лтарѧ̀ сни́зꙋ, и҆ бꙋ́детъ ѻ҆гни́ще до среды̀ ѻ҆лтарѧ̀.
5 Y lo has de poner dentro del cerco del altar abajo; y llegará el enrejado hasta el medio del altar.
5 You shall put it under the ledge around the altar beneath, that the net may reach halfway up the altar.
6 И҆ да сотвори́ши ѻ҆лтарю̀ нѡси́ла ѿ древе́съ негнїю́щихъ, и҆ ѡ҆кꙋе́ши ѧ҆̀ мѣ́дїю,
6 Harás también varas para el altar, varas de madera de Sittim, las cuales cubrirás de metal.
6 You shall make poles for the altar, poles of acacia wood, and overlay them with bronze.
7 и҆ вложи́ши нѡси́ла въ ко́льца: и҆ да бꙋ́дꙋтъ нѡси́ла ѻ҆лтарю̀ по бока́мъ, є҆́же под̾има́ти є҆го̀.
7 Y sus varas se meterán por los anillos: y estarán aquellas varas á ambos lados del altar, cuando hubiere de ser llevado.
7 Its poles shall be put into the rings, and the poles shall be on the two sides of the altar when carrying it.
8 То́щь, доща́тый сотвори́ши є҆го̀: по пока́занномꙋ тебѣ̀ на горѣ̀, та́кѡ сотвори́ши є҆го̀.
8 De tablas lo harás, hueco: de la manera que te fué mostrado en el monte, así lo harás.
8 You shall make it hollow with planks. They shall make it as it has been shown you on the mountain.
9 И҆ да сотвори́ши дво́ръ ски́нїи: на странѣ̀, ꙗ҆́же къ ю҆́гꙋ, завѣ̑сы двора̀ и҆з̾ вѷссо́на ска́нагѡ: долгота̀ сто̀ лакѡ́тъ странѣ̀ є҆ди́нѣй:
9 Asimismo harás el atrio del tabernáculo: al lado del mediodía, al austro, tendrá el atrio cortinas de lino torcido, de cien codos de longitud cada un lado;
9 “You shall make the court of the tabernacle: for the south side southward there shall be hangings for the court of fine twined linen one hundred cubits long for one side.
10 и҆ столпы̀ и҆́хъ два́десѧть, и҆ стѡѧ́ла и҆́хъ два́десѧть мѣ̑дѧна, и҆ крючкѝ и҆́хъ, и҆ верхѝ и҆́хъ срє́брѧны.
10 Sus veinte columnas, y sus veinte basas serán de metal; los capiteles de las columnas y sus molduras, de plata.
10 Its pillars shall be twenty, and their sockets twenty, of bronze. The hooks of the pillars and their fillets shall be of silver.
11 Та́кожде на странѣ̀, ꙗ҆́же къ сѣ́верꙋ, завѣ̑сы сто̀ лакѡ́тъ въ долготꙋ̀, и҆ столпы̀ и҆́хъ два́десѧть, и҆ стѡѧ́ла и҆́хъ два́десѧть мѣ̑дѧна, и҆ крючкѝ и҆́хъ, и҆ верхѝ столпѡ́въ, и҆ стѡѧ́ла и҆́хъ посре́брєна сребро́мъ.
11 Y de la misma manera al lado del aquilón habrá á lo largo cortinas de cien codos de longitud, y sus veinte columnas, con sus veinte basas de metal; los capiteles de sus columnas y sus molduras, de plata.
11 Likewise for the length of the north side, there shall be hangings one hundred cubits long, and its pillars twenty, and their sockets twenty, of bronze; the hooks of the pillars, and their fillets, of silver.
12 Широта́ же двора̀, ꙗ҆́же къ мо́рю, ѻ҆пѡ́ны пѧтьдесѧ́тъ лакѡ́тъ: столпы̀ и҆́хъ де́сѧть, и҆ стѡѧ́ла и҆́хъ де́сѧть.
12 Y el ancho del atrio del lado occidental tendrá cortinas de cincuenta codos; sus columnas diez, con sus diez basas.
12 For the width of the court on the west side shall be hangings of fifty cubits; their pillars ten, and their sockets ten.
13 И҆ широта̀ двора̀, ꙗ҆́же къ восто́кꙋ, завѣ̑сы пѧтьдесѧ́тъ ла́ктїй: столпы̀ и҆́хъ де́сѧть, и҆ стѡѧ́ла и҆́хъ де́сѧть.
13 Y en el ancho del atrio por la parte de levante, al oriente, habrá cincuenta codos.
13 The width of the court on the east side eastward shall be fifty cubits.
14 И҆ пѧтьна́десѧть лакѡ́тъ высота̀ ѻ҆по́нъ странѣ̀ є҆ди́нѣй: столпы̀ и҆́хъ трѝ, и҆ стѡѧ́ла и҆́хъ трѝ:
14 Y las cortinas del un lado serán de quince codos; sus columnas tres, con sus tres basas.
14 The hangings for the one side of the gate shall be fifteen cubits; their pillars three, and their sockets three.
15 и҆ странѣ̀ вторѣ́й ѻ҆по́нъ пѧтьна́десѧть лакѡ́тъ высота̀: столпы̀ и҆́хъ трѝ, и҆ стѡѧ́ла и҆́хъ трѝ.
15 Al otro lado quince codos de cortinas; sus columnas tres, con sus tres basas.
15 For the other side shall be hangings of fifteen cubits; their pillars three, and their sockets three.
16 И҆ врата́мъ двора̀ завѣ́са два́десѧть лакѡ́тъ въ высотꙋ̀, ѿ синеты̀ и҆ багрѧни́цы, и҆ червлени́цы ска́ныѧ и҆ вѷссо́на ска́нагѡ пестре́нїемъ шве́ннымъ: столпы̀ и҆́хъ четы́ри, и҆ стѡѧ́ла и҆́хъ четы́ри.
16 Y á la puerta del atrio habrá un pabellón de veinte codos, de cárdeno, y púrpura, y carmesí, y lino torcido, de obra de bordador: sus columnas cuatro, con sus cuatro basas.
16 For the gate of the court shall be a screen of twenty cubits, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, the work of the embroiderer; their pillars four, and their sockets four.
17 Всѝ столпы̀ двора̀ ѡ҆́крестъ ѡ҆кѡ́ваны сребро́мъ, и҆ верхѝ и҆́хъ срє́брѧны, и҆ стѡѧ́ла и҆́хъ мѣ̑дѧна.
17 Todas las columnas del atrio en derredor serán ceñidas de plata; sus capiteles de plata, y sus basas de metal.
17 All the pillars of the court around shall be filleted with silver; their hooks of silver, and their sockets of bronze.
18 Долгота́ же двора̀ сто̀ на сто̀, и҆ широта̀ пѧтьдесѧ́тъ на пѧтьдесѧ́тъ, и҆ высота̀ пѧтѝ ла́ктїй ѿ вѷссо́на ска́нагѡ: и҆ стѡѧ́ла и҆́хъ мѣ̑дѧна.
18 La longitud del atrio será de cien codos, y la anchura cincuenta por un lado y cincuenta por el otro, y la altura de cinco codos: [sus cortinas] de lino torcido, y sus basas de metal.
18 The length of the court shall be one hundred cubits, and the width fifty throughout, and the height five cubits, of fine twined linen, and their sockets of bronze.
19 И҆ всѐ ᲂу҆строе́нїе, и҆ всѧ̑ ѻ҆рꙋ̑дїѧ, и҆ гво́зди двора̀ мѣ̑дѧны.
19 Todos los vasos del tabernáculo en todo su servicio, y todos sus clavos, y todos los clavos del atrio, serán de metal.
19 All the instruments of the tabernacle in all its service, and all its pins, and all the pins of the court, shall be of bronze.
20 И҆ ты̀ заповѣ́ждь сынѡ́мъ і҆и҃лєвымъ, и҆ да во́змꙋтъ тебѣ̀ є҆ле́й ѿ ма́сличїѧ без̾ дрожде́й чи́стъ и҆зжа́тъ въ свѣтѣ́нїе, да гори́тъ свѣти́льникъ всегда̀.
20 Y tú mandarás á los hijos de Israel que te traigan aceite puro de olivas, molido, para la luminaria, para hacer arder continuamente las lámparas.
20 “You shall command the children of Israel, that they bring to you pure olive oil beaten for the light, to cause a lamp to burn continually.
21 Въ ски́нїи свидѣ́нїѧ внѣ̀ завѣ́сы, ꙗ҆́же над̾ завѣ́томъ, возжига́ти бꙋ́детъ є҆го̀ а҆арѡ́нъ и҆ сы́нове є҆гѡ̀, ѿ ве́чера да́же до ᲂу҆́тра, пред̾ гдⷭ҇емъ, зако́ннѡ вѣ́чнѡ въ ро́ды ва́шѧ ѿ сынѡ́въ і҆и҃левыхъ.
21 En el tabernáculo del testimonio, afuera del velo que está delante del testimonio, las pondrá en orden Aarón y sus hijos, delante de Jehová desde la tarde hasta la mañana, como estatuto perpetuo de los hijos de Israel por sus generaciones.
21 In the Tent of Meeting, outside the veil which is before the covenant, Aaron and his sons shall keep it in order from evening to morning before Yahweh: it shall be a statute forever throughout their generations on the behalf of the children of Israel.

How these were chosen
“Commentary” is the opening of a homily or exposition on this chapter (John Chrysostom’s homilies, Augustine’s tractates, sermons and expositions of the Psalms). “Quotes” are sentences where the edition’s own footnotes identify a quotation of a verse here, kept only when the wording matches the verse. Only works whose authorship is not in doubt are used. Psalms follow the Hebrew/English numbering (Augustine numbers them as the Septuagint does: his Psalm 50 is Psalm 51 here).
The altar of burnt-offering also was five cubits in breadth. Five priests were chosen in the wilderness,--namely, Aaron, Nadab, Abiud, Eleazar, Ithamar.
