5 Jer će svi narodi hoditi svaki u ime boga svog; a mi ćemo hoditi u ime Gospoda Boga svog uvek i doveka. 6 U to vreme, govori Gospod, sabraću hrome, i skupiću odagnane i kojima zlo učinih. 7 I učiniću od hromih ostatak i od odagnanih silan narod; i Gospod će carovati nad njima na gori Sionu odsada i doveka. 8 I ti, kulo stadu, steno kćeri sionskoj, tebi će doći, doći će prva vlast, carstvo kćeri jerusalimske. 9 Zašto vičeš tako jako? Nema li cara u tebi? 13 Ustani i vrši, kćeri sionska, jer ću ti načiniti rog gvozden, i kopita ću ti načiniti bronzana, te ćeš satrti mnoge narode, i posvetiću Gospodu blago njihovo i imanje njihovo Gospodu sve zemlje.

What the Fathers said
Passages from the Church Fathers that expound or quote this chapter, verbatim from the public-domain Schaff edition (19th-century English translations).
How these were chosen
“Commentary” is the opening of a homily or exposition on this chapter (John Chrysostom’s homilies, Augustine’s tractates, sermons and expositions of the Psalms). “Quotes” are sentences where the edition’s own footnotes identify a quotation of a verse here, kept only when the wording matches the verse. Only works whose authorship is not in doubt are used. Psalms follow the Hebrew/English numbering (Augustine numbers them as the Septuagint does: his Psalm 50 is Psalm 51 here).
… "For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem; and He shall rebuke many people; and they shall break down their swords into ploughshares, and their spears into pruning-hooks, and they shall no longer learn to fight." If therefore another law and word, going forth from Jerusalem, brought in such a [reign …
And He shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off." This prophet predicts the very place in which Christ was born, saying, "And thou, Bethlehem, of the house of Ephratah, art the least that can be reckoned among the thousands of Judah; out of thee shall come forth unto me a leader, to be the prince in …

Where, O Grave, is thy sting?" And another again, declaring glad tidings of the most profound peace, said, "They shall beat their swords into ploughshares, and their spears into pruning hooks." And while one calls on Jerusalem, saying, "Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Sion, for lo!
