1 Вот постановления и законы, которые вы должны стараться исполнять в земле, которую Господь, Бог отцов твоих, дает тебе во владение, во все дни, которые вы будете жить на той земле.
1 ESTOS son los estatutos y derechos que cuidaréis de poner por obra, en la tierra que Jehová el Dios de tus padres te ha dado para que la poseas, todos los días que vosotros viviereis sobre la tierra.
1 These are the statutes and the ordinances which you shall observe to do in the land which Yahweh, the God of your fathers, has given you to possess all the days that you live on the earth.
2 Истребите все места, где народы, которыми вы овладеете, служили богам своим, на высоких горах и на холмах, и под всяким ветвистым деревом;
2 Destruiréis enteramente todos los lugares donde las gentes que vosotros heredareis sirvieron á sus dioses, sobre los montes altos, y sobre los collados, y debajo de todo árbol espeso:
2 You shall surely destroy all the places in which the nations that you shall dispossess served their gods: on the high mountains, and on the hills, and under every green tree.
3 и разрушьте жертвенники их, и сокрушите столбы их, и сожгите огнем рощи их, и разбейте истуканы богов их, и истребите имя их от места того.
3 Y derribaréis sus altares, y quebraréis sus imágenes, y sus bosques consumiréis con fuego: y destruiréis las esculturas de sus dioses, y extirparéis el nombre de ellas de aquel lugar.
3 You shall break down their altars, dash their pillars in pieces, and burn their Asherah poles with fire. You shall cut down the engraved images of their gods. You shall destroy their name out of that place.
4 Не то должны вы делать для Господа, Бога вашего;
4 No haréis así á Jehová vuestro Dios.
4 You shall not do so to Yahweh your God.
5 но к месту, какое изберет Господь, Бог ваш, из всех колен ваших, чтобы пребывать имени Его там, обращайтесь и туда приходите,
5 Mas el lugar que Jehová vuestro Dios escogiere de todas vuestras tribus, para poner allí su nombre para su habitación, ése buscaréis, y allá iréis:
5 But to the place which Yahweh your God shall choose out of all your tribes, to put his name there, you shall seek his habitation, and you shall come there.
6 и туда приносите всесожжения ваши, и жертвы ваши, и десятины ваши, и возношение рук ваших, и обеты ваши, и добровольные приношения ваши, [и мирные жертвы ваши,] и первенцев крупного скота вашего и мелкого скота вашего;
6 Y allí llevaréis vuestros holocaustos, y vuestros sacrificios, y vuestros diezmos, y la ofrenda elevada de vuestras manos, y vuestros votos, y vuestras ofrendas voluntarias, y los primerizos de vuestras vacas y de vuestras ovejas:
6 You shall bring your burnt offerings, your sacrifices, your tithes, the wave offering of your hand, your vows, your free will offerings, and the firstborn of your herd and of your flock there.
7 и ешьте там пред Господом, Богом вашим, и веселитесь вы и семейства ваши о всем, что делалось руками вашими, чем благословил тебя Господь, Бог твой.
7 Y comeréis allí delante de Jehová vuestro Dios, y os alegraréis, vosotros y vuestras familias, en toda obra de vuestras manos en que Jehová tu Dios te hubiere bendecido.
7 There you shall eat before Yahweh your God, and you shall rejoice in all that you put your hand to, you and your households, in which Yahweh your God has blessed you.
8 Там вы не должны делать всего, как мы теперь здесь делаем, каждый, что ему кажется правильным;
8 No haréis como todo lo que nosotros hacemos aquí ahora, cada uno lo que le parece,
8 You shall not do all the things that we do here today, every man whatever is right in his own eyes;
9 ибо вы ныне еще не вступили в место покоя и в удел, который Господь, Бог твой, дает тебе.
9 Porque aun hasta ahora no habéis entrado al reposo y á la heredad que os da Jehová vuestro Dios.
9 for you haven’t yet come to the rest and to the inheritance which Yahweh your God gives you.
10 Но когда перейдете Иордан и поселитесь на земле, которую Господь, Бог ваш, дает вам в удел, и когда Он успокоит вас от всех врагов ваших, окружающих вас, и будете жить безопасно,
10 Mas pasaréis el Jordán, y habitaréis en la tierra que Jehová vuestro Dios os hace heredar, y él os dará reposo de todos vuestros enemigos alrededor, y habitaréis seguros.
10 But when you go over the Jordan and dwell in the land which Yahweh your God causes you to inherit, and he gives you rest from all your enemies around you, so that you dwell in safety,
11 тогда, какое место изберет Господь, Бог ваш, чтобы пребывать имени Его там, туда приносите всё, что я заповедую вам [сегодня]: всесожжения ваши и жертвы ваши, десятины ваши и возношение рук ваших, и все, избранное по обетам вашим, что вы обещали Господу [Богу вашему];
11 Y al lugar que Jehová vuestro Dios escogiere para hacer habitar en él su nombre, allí llevaréis todas las cosas que yo os mando: vuestros holocaustos, y vuestros sacrificios, vuestros diezmos, y las ofrendas elevadas de vuestras manos, y todo lo escogido de vuestros votos que hubiereis prometido á Jehová;
11 then it shall happen that to the place which Yahweh your God shall choose, to cause his name to dwell there, there you shall bring all that I command you: your burnt offerings, your sacrifices, your tithes, the wave offering of your hand, and all your choice vows which you vow to Yahweh.
12 и веселитесь пред Господом, Богом вашим, вы и сыны ваши, и дочери ваши, и рабы ваши, и рабыни ваши, и левит, который посреди жилищ ваших, ибо нет ему части и удела с вами.
12 Y os alegraréis delante de Jehová vuestro Dios, vosotros, y vuestros hijos, y vuestras hijas, y vuestros siervos, y vuestras siervas, y el Levita que estuviere en vuestras poblaciones: por cuanto no tiene parte ni heredad con vosotros.
12 You shall rejoice before Yahweh your God—you, and your sons, your daughters, your male servants, your female servants, and the Levite who is within your gates, because he has no portion nor inheritance with you.
13 Берегись приносить всесожжения твои на всяком месте, которое ты увидишь;
13 Guárdate, que no ofrezcas tus holocaustos en cualquier lugar que vieres;
13 Be careful that you don’t offer your burnt offerings in every place that you see;
14 но на том только месте, которое изберет Господь [Бог твой] в одном из колен твоих, приноси всесожжения твои и делай все, что заповедую тебе [сегодня].
14 Mas en el lugar que Jehová escogiere, en una de tus tribus, allí ofrecerás tus holocaustos, y allí harás todo lo que yo te mando.
14 but in the place which Yahweh chooses in one of your tribes, there you shall offer your burnt offerings, and there you shall do all that I command you.
15 Впрочем, когда только пожелает душа твоя, можешь заколать и есть, по благословению Господа, Бога твоего, мясо, которое Он дал тебе, во всех жилищах твоих: нечистый и чистый могут есть сие, как серну и как оленя;
15 Con todo, podrás matar y comer carne en todas tus poblaciones conforme al deseo de tu alma, según la bendición de Jehová tu Dios que él te habrá dado: el inmundo y el limpio la comerá, como [la] de corzo ó de ciervo:
15 Yet you may kill and eat meat within all your gates, after all the desire of your soul, according to Yahweh your God’s blessing which he has given you. The unclean and the clean may eat of it, as of the gazelle and the deer.
16 только крови не ешьте: на землю выливайте ее, как воду.
16 Salvo que sangre no comeréis; sobre la tierra la derramaréis como agua.
16 Only you shall not eat the blood. You shall pour it out on the earth like water.
17 Нельзя тебе есть в жилищах твоих десятины хлеба твоего, и вина твоего, и елея твоего, и первенцев крупного скота твоего и мелкого скота твоего, и всех обетов твоих, которые ты обещал, и добровольных приношений твоих, и возношения рук твоих;
17 Ni podrás comer en tus poblaciones el diezmo de tu grano, ó de tu vino, ó de tu aceite, ni los primerizos de tus vacas, ni de tus ovejas, ni tus votos que prometieres, ni tus ofrendas voluntarias, ni las elevadas ofrendas de tus manos:
17 You may not eat within your gates the tithe of your grain, or of your new wine, or of your oil, or the firstborn of your herd or of your flock, nor any of your vows which you vow, nor your free will offerings, nor the wave offering of your hand;
18 но ешь сие [только] пред Господом, Богом твоим, на том месте, которое изберет Господь, Бог твой, — ты и сын твой, и дочь твоя, и раб твой, и раба твоя, и левит, [и пришелец,] который в жилищах твоих, и веселись пред Господом, Богом твоим, о всем, что делалось руками твоими.
18 Mas delante de Jehová tu Dios las comerás, en el lugar que Jehová tu Dios hubiere escogido, tú, y tu hijo, y tu hija, y tu siervo, y tu sierva, y el Levita que está en tus poblaciones: y alegrarte has delante de Jehová tu Dios en toda obra de tus manos.
18 but you shall eat them before Yahweh your God in the place which Yahweh your God shall choose: you, your son, your daughter, your male servant, your female servant, and the Levite who is within your gates. You shall rejoice before Yahweh your God in all that you put your hand to.
19 Смотри, не оставляй левита во все дни, [которые будешь жить] на земле твоей.
19 Ten cuidado de no desamparar al Levita en todos tus días sobre tu tierra.
19 Be careful that you don’t forsake the Levite as long as you live in your land.
20 Когда распространит Господь, Бог твой, пределы твои, как Он говорил тебе, и ты скажешь: "поем я мяса", потому что душа твоя пожелает есть мяса, — тогда, по желанию души твоей, ешь мясо.
20 Cuando Jehová tu Dios ensanchare tu término, como él te ha dicho, y tú dijeres, Comeré carne, porque deseó tu alma comerla, conforme á todo el deseo de tu alma comerás carne.
20 When Yahweh your God enlarges your border, as he has promised you, and you say, “I want to eat meat,” because your soul desires to eat meat, you may eat meat, after all the desire of your soul.
21 Если далеко будет от тебя то место, которое изберет Господь, Бог твой, чтобы пребывать имени Его там, то заколай из крупного и мелкого скота твоего, который дал тебе Господь [Бог твой], как я повелел тебе, и ешь в жилищах твоих, по желанию души твоей;
21 Cuando estuviere lejos de ti el lugar que Jehová tu Dios habrá escogido, para poner allí su nombre, matarás de tus vacas y de tus ovejas, que Jehová te hubiere dado, como te he mandado yo, y comerás en tus puertas según todo lo que deseare tu alma.
21 If the place which Yahweh your God shall choose to put his name is too far from you, then you shall kill of your herd and of your flock, which Yahweh has given you, as I have commanded you; and you may eat within your gates, after all the desire of your soul.
22 но ешь их так, как едят серну и оленя; нечистый как и чистый [у тебя] могут есть сие;
22 Lo mismo que se come el corzo y el ciervo, así las comerás: el inmundo y el limpio comerán también de ellas.
22 Even as the gazelle and as the deer is eaten, so you shall eat of it. The unclean and the clean may eat of it alike.
23 только строго наблюдай, чтобы не есть крови, потому что кровь есть душа: не ешь души вместе с мясом;
23 Solamente que te esfuerces á no comer sangre: porque la sangre es el alma; y no has de comer el alma juntamente con su carne.
23 Only be sure that you don’t eat the blood; for the blood is the life. You shall not eat the life with the meat.
24 не ешь ее: выливай ее на землю, как воду;
24 No la comerás: en tierra la derramarás como agua.
24 You shall not eat it. You shall pour it out on the earth like water.
25 не ешь ее, дабы хорошо было тебе и детям твоим после тебя [во веки], если будешь делать [доброе и] справедливое пред очами Господа [Бога твоего].
25 No comerás de ella; para que te vaya bien á ti, y á tus hijos después de ti, cuando hicieres lo recto en ojos de Jehová.
25 You shall not eat it, that it may go well with you and with your children after you, when you do that which is right in Yahweh’s eyes.
26 Только святыни твои, какие будут у тебя, и обеты твои приноси, и приходи на то место, которое изберет Господь [Бог твой, чтобы призываемо было там имя Его];
26 Empero las cosas que tuvieres tú consagradas, y tus votos, las tomarás, y vendrás al lugar que Jehová hubiere escogido:
26 Only your holy things which you have, and your vows, you shall take and go to the place which Yahweh shall choose.
27 и совершай всесожжения твои, мясо и кровь, на жертвеннике Господа, Бога твоего; но кровь других жертв твоих должна быть проливаема у жертвенника Господа, Бога твоего, а мясо ешь.
27 Y ofrecerás tus holocaustos, la carne y la sangre, sobre el altar de Jehová tu Dios: y la sangre de tus sacrificios será derramada sobre el altar de Jehová tu Dios, y comerás la carne.
27 You shall offer your burnt offerings, the meat and the blood, on Yahweh your God’s altar. The blood of your sacrifices shall be poured out on Yahweh your God’s altar, and you shall eat the meat.
28 Слушай и исполняй все слова сии, которые заповедую тебе, дабы хорошо было тебе и детям твоим после тебя во век, если будешь делать доброе и угодное пред очами Господа, Бога твоего.
28 Guarda y escucha todas estas palabras que yo te mando, porque te vaya bien á ti y á tus hijos después de ti para siempre, cuando hicieres lo bueno y lo recto en los ojos de Jehová tu Dios.
28 Observe and hear all these words which I command you, that it may go well with you and with your children after you forever, when you do that which is good and right in Yahweh your God’s eyes.
29 Когда Господь, Бог твой, истребит от лица твоего народы, к которым ты идешь, чтобы взять их во владение, и ты, взяв их, поселишься в земле их;
29 Cuando hubiere devastado delante de ti Jehová tu Dios las naciones á donde tú vas para poseerlas, y las heredares, y habitares en su tierra,
29 When Yahweh your God cuts off the nations from before you where you go in to dispossess them, and you dispossess them and dwell in their land,
30 тогда берегись, чтобы ты не попал в сеть, последуя им, по истреблении их от лица твоего, и не искал богов их, говоря: "как служили народы сии богам своим, так буду и я делать";
30 Guárdate que no tropieces en pos de ellas, después que fueren destruídas delante de ti: no preguntes acerca de sus dioses, diciendo: De la manera que servían aquellas gentes á sus dioses, así haré yo también.
30 be careful that you are not ensnared to follow them after they are destroyed from before you, and that you not inquire after their gods, saying, “How do these nations serve their gods? I will do likewise.”
31 не делай так Господу, Богу твоему, ибо все, чего гнушается Господь, что ненавидит Он, они делают богам своим: они и сыновей своих и дочерей своих сожигают на огне богам своим.
31 No harás así á Jehová tu Dios; porque todo lo que Jehová aborrece, hicieron ellos á sus dioses; pues aun á sus hijos é hijas quemaban en el fuego á sus dioses.
31 You shall not do so to Yahweh your God; for every abomination to Yahweh, which he hates, they have done to their gods; for they even burn their sons and their daughters in the fire to their gods.
32 Все, что я заповедую вам, старайтесь исполнить; не прибавляй к тому и не убавляй от того.
32 Cuidaréis de hacer todo lo que yo os mando: no añadirás á ello, ni quitarás de ello.
32 Whatever thing I command you, that you shall observe to do. You shall not add to it, nor take away from it.

How these were chosen
“Commentary” is the opening of a homily or exposition on this chapter (John Chrysostom’s homilies, Augustine’s tractates, sermons and expositions of the Psalms). “Quotes” are sentences where the edition’s own footnotes identify a quotation of a verse here, kept only when the wording matches the verse. Only works whose authorship is not in doubt are used. Psalms follow the Hebrew/English numbering (Augustine numbers them as the Septuagint does: his Psalm 50 is Psalm 51 here).
This is the special and peculiar place of true worship; for it is said "Take heed to thyself that thou offer not thy burnt offerings in every place...but in the place the Lord thy God shall choose." Now what is a spiritual burnt offering?
