1 And the borders of the children of Joseph were from Jordan by Jericho eastward; and they will go up from Jericho to the hill country, to the wilderness, to Bethel Luz.

1 Y LA suerte del los hijos de José salió desde el Jordán de Jericó hasta las aguas de Jericó hacia el oriente, al desierto que sube de Jericó al monte de Beth-el:

2 And they will go out to Bethel, and will proceed to the borders of Ataroth.

2 Y de Beth-el sale á Luz, y pasa al término de Archi en Ataroth;

3 And they will go across to the sea to the borders of Japhletites, as far as the borders of Beth-horon the lower, and the going forth of them shall be to the sea.

3 Y torna á descender hacia la mar al término de Japhlet, hasta el término de Beth-oron la de abajo, y hasta Gezer; y sale á la mar.

4 And the sons of Joseph, Ephraim and Manasseh, took their inheritance.

4 Recibieron pues heredad los hijos de José, Manasés y Ephraim.

5 And the borders of the children of Ephraim were according to their families, and the borders of their inheritance were eastward to Ataroth, and Eroc as far as Beth-horon the upper, and Gazara.

5 Y fué el término de los hijos de Ephraim por sus familias, fué el término de su herencia á la parte oriental, [desde] Ataroth-addar hasta Beth-oron la de arriba:

6 And the borders will proceed to the sea to Icasmon north of Therma; they will go round eastward to Taanath, and Shiloh, and will pass on eastward to Janoah,

6 Y sale este término á la mar, y á Michmetat al norte, y da vuelta este término hacia el oriente á Tanath-silo, y de aquí pasa del oriente á Janoa:

7 and to Macho, and Ataroth, and [these are] their villages; and they will come to Jericho, and will issue at Jordan.

7 Y de Janoa desciende á Ataroth, y á Naaratha, y toca en Jericó, y sale al Jordán.

8 And the borders will proceed from Tappuah to the sea to Kanah; and their termination will be at the sea; this [is] the inheritance of the tribe of Ephraim according to their families.

8 Y de Tappua torna este término hacia la mar al arroyo de Cana, y sale á la mar. Esta es la heredad de la tribu de los hijos de Ephraim por sus familias.

9 And the cities separated to the sons of Ephraim [were] in the midst of the inheritance of the sons of Manasseh, all the cities and their villages.

9 Hubo también ciudades que se apartaron para los hijos de Ephraim en medio de la herencia de los hijos de Manasés, todas ciudades con sus aldeas.

10 And Ephraim did not destroy the Canaanite who dwelt in Gezer; and the Canaanite dwelt in Ephraim until this day, until Pharaoh the king of Egypt went up and took it, and burned it with fire; and the Canaanites, and Perizzites, and the dwellers in Gaza they destroyed, and Pharaoh gave them for a dowry to his daughter.

10 Y no echaron al Cananeo que habitaba en Gezer; antes quedó el Cananeo en medio de Ephraim, hasta hoy, y fué tributario.
