Brenton Septuaginta inglesa de Brenton WEB World English Bible (clásica, con deuterocanónicos) 1 At that time the Lord said to me, Hew for thyself two stone tables as the first, and come up to me into the mountain, and thou shalt make for thyself an ark of wood.
1 At that time Yahweh said to me, “Cut two stone tablets like the first, and come up to me onto the mountain, and make an ark of wood.
2 And thou shalt write upon the tables the words which were on the first tables which thou didst break, and thou shalt put them into the ark.
2 I will write on the tablets the words that were on the first tablets which you broke, and you shall put them in the ark.”
3 So I made an ark of boards of incorruptible wood, and I hewed tables of stone like the first, and I went up to the mountain, and the two tables were in my hand.
3 So I made an ark of acacia wood, and cut two stone tablets like the first, and went up onto the mountain, having the two tablets in my hand.
4 And he wrote upon the tables according to the first writing the ten commandments, which the Lord spoke to you in the mountain out of the midst of the fire, and the Lord gave them to me. 4 Y escribió en las tablas conforme á la primera escritura, las diez palabras que Jehová os había hablado en el monte de en medio del fuego, el día de la asamblea; y diómelas Jehová.
4 He wrote on the tablets, according to the first writing, the ten commandments, which Yahweh spoke to you on the mountain out of the middle of the fire in the day of the assembly; and Yahweh gave them to me.
5 And I turned and came down from the mountain, and I put the tables into the ark which I had made; and there they were, as the Lord commanded me. 5 Y volví y descendí del monte, y puse las tablas en el arca que había hecho; y allí están, como Jehová me mandó.
5 I turned and came down from the mountain, and put the tablets in the ark which I had made; and there they are as Yahweh commanded me.
6 And the children of Israel departed from Beeroth of the sons of Jakim [to] Misadai: there Aaron died, and there he was buried, and Eleazar his son was priest in his stead.
6 (The children of Israel traveled from Beeroth Bene Jaakan to Moserah. There Aaron died, and there he was buried; and Eleazar his son ministered in the priest’s office in his place.
7 Thence they departed to Gadgad; and from Gadgad to Etebatha, a land [wherein are] torrents of water. 7 De allí partieron á Gudgod, y de Gudgod á Jotbath, tierra de arroyos de aguas.
7 From there they traveled to Gudgodah; and from Gudgodah to Jotbathah, a land of brooks of water.
8 At that time the Lord separated the tribe of Levi, to bear the ark of the covenant of the Lord, to stand near before the Lord, to minister and bless in his name to this day.
8 At that time Yahweh set apart the tribe of Levi to bear the ark of Yahweh’s covenant, to stand before Yahweh to minister to him, and to bless in his name, to this day.
9 Therefore the Levites have no part nor inheritance among their brethren; the Lord himself [is] their inheritance, as he said to them.
9 Therefore Levi has no portion nor inheritance with his brothers; Yahweh is his inheritance, according as Yahweh your God spoke to him.)
10 And I remained in the mount forty days and forty nights: and the Lord heard me at that time also, and the Lord would not destroy you.
10 I stayed on the mountain, as at the first time, forty days and forty nights; and Yahweh listened to me that time also. Yahweh would not destroy you.
11 And the Lord said to me, Go, set out before this people, and let them go in and inherit the land, which I sware to their fathers to give to them.
11 Yahweh said to me, “Arise, take your journey before the people; and they shall go in and possess the land which I swore to their fathers to give to them.”
12 And now, Israel, what does the Lord thy God require of thee, but to fear the Lord thy God, and to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul; 12 Ahora pues, Israel, ¿qué pide Jehová tu Dios de ti, sino que temas á Jehová tu Dios, que andes en todos sus caminos, y que lo ames, y sirvas á Jehová tu Dios con todo tu corazón, y con toda tu alma;
12 Now, Israel, what does Yahweh your God require of you, but to fear Yahweh your God, to walk in all his ways, to love him, and to serve Yahweh your God with all your heart and with all your soul,
13 to keep the commandments of the Lord thy God, and his ordinances, all that I charge thee to-day, that it may be well with thee?
13 to keep Yahweh’s commandments and statutes, which I command you today for your good?
14 Behold, the heaven and the heaven of heavens belong to the Lord thy God, the earth and all things that are in it. 14 He aquí, de Jehová tu Dios son los cielos, y los cielos de los cielos: la tierra, y todas las cosas que hay en ella.
14 Behold, to Yahweh your God belongs heaven, the heaven of heavens, and the earth, with all that is therein.
15 Only the Lord chose your fathers to love them, and he chose out their seed after them, [even] you, beyond all nations, as at this day.
15 Only Yahweh had a delight in your fathers to love them, and he chose their offspring after them, even you above all peoples, as it is today.
16 Therefore ye shall circumcise the hardness of your heart, and ye shall not harden your neck.
16 Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no more stiff-necked.
17 For the Lord your God, he [is] God of gods, and Lord of lords, the great, and strong, and terrible God, who does not accept persons, nor will he by any means accept a bribe: 17 Porque Jehová vuestro Dios es Dios de dioses, y Señor de señores, Dios grande, poderoso, y terrible, que no acepta persona, ni toma cohecho;
17 For Yahweh your God, he is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, the mighty, and the awesome, who doesn’t respect persons or take bribes.
18 executing judgment for the stranger and orphan and widow, and he loves the stranger to give him food and raiment.
18 He executes justice for the fatherless and widow and loves the foreigner in giving him food and clothing.
19 And ye shall love the stranger; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt.
19 Therefore love the foreigner, for you were foreigners in the land of Egypt.
20 Thou shalt fear the Lord thy God, and serve him, and shalt cleave to him, and shalt swear by his name.
20 You shall fear Yahweh your God. You shall serve him. You shall cling to him, and you shall swear by his name.
21 He [is] thy boast, and he [is] thy God, who has wrought in the midst of thee these great and glorious things, which thine eyes have seen.
21 He is your praise, and he is your God, who has done for you these great and awesome things which your eyes have seen.
22 With seventy souls your fathers went down into Egypt; but the Lord thy God has made thee as the stars of heaven in multitude.
22 Your fathers went down into Egypt with seventy persons; and now Yahweh your God has made you as the stars of the sky for multitude.
