GNV Biblia de Ginebra (1599) WEB World English Bible (clásica, con deuterocanónicos) 1 The children of Israel also after their nomber, euen the chiefe fathers and captaines of thousandes and of hundreths, and their officers that serued the King by diuers courses, which came and in went out, moneth by moneth throughout al the moneths of the yeere: in euery course were foure and twentie thousand. 1 Y LOS hijos de Israel según su número, [á saber], príncipes de familias, tribunos, centuriones y oficiales de los que servían al rey en todos los negocios de las divisiones que entraban y salían cada mes en todos los meses del año, eran en cada división veinte y cuatro mil.
1 Now the children of Israel after their number, the heads of fathers’ households and the captains of thousands and of hundreds, and their officers who served the king in any matter of the divisions which came in and went out month by month throughout all the months of the year—of every division were twenty-four thousand.
2 Ouer the first course for the first moneth was Iashobeam the sonne of Zabdiel: and in his course were foure and twentie thousand. 2 Sobre la primera división del primer mes estaba Jasobam hijo de Zabdiel; y había en su división veinte y cuatro mil.
2 Over the first division for the first month was Jashobeam the son of Zabdiel. In his division were twenty-four thousand.
3 Of the sonnes of Perez was the chiefe ouer all the princes of the armies for the first moneth. 3 De los hijos de Phares [fué] él jefe de todos los capitanes de las compañías del primer mes.
3 He was of the children of Perez, the chief of all the captains of the army for the first month.
4 And ouer the course of the second moneth was Dodai, an Ahohite, and this was his course, and Mikloth was a captaine, and in his course were foure and twentie thousand. 4 Sobre la división del segundo mes estaba Dodai Ahohita: y Micloth [era] mayor general en su división, en la que también había veinte y cuatro mil.
4 Over the division of the second month was Dodai the Ahohite and his division, and Mikloth the ruler; and in his division were twenty-four thousand.
5 The captaine of the thirde hoste for the third moneth was Benaiah the sonne of Iehoiada the chiefe Priest: and in his course were foure and twentie thousand. 5 El jefe de la tercera división para el tercer mes era Benaías, hijo de Joiada sumo sacerdote; y en su división había veinte y cuatro mil.
5 The third captain of the army for the third month was Benaiah, the son of Jehoiada the chief priest. In his division were twenty-four thousand.
6 This Benaiah was mightie among thirtie and aboue the thirtie, and in his course was Amizabad his sonne. 6 Este Benaías era valiente entre los treinta y sobre los treinta; y en su división estaba Amisabad su hijo.
6 This is that Benaiah who was the mighty man of the thirty and over the thirty. Of his division was Ammizabad his son.
7 The fourth for the fourth moneth was Asahel the brother of Ioab, and Zebadiah his sonne after him: and in his course were foure and twentie thousand. 7 El cuarto [jefe] para el cuarto mes era Asael hermano de Joab, y después de él Zebadías su hijo; y en su división había veinte y cuatro mil.
7 The fourth captain for the fourth month was Asahel the brother of Joab, and Zebadiah his son after him. In his division were twenty-four thousand.
8 The fift for ye fift moneth was prince Shamhuth the Izrahite: and in his course foure and twentie thousand. 8 El quinto jefe para el quinto mes era Sambuth Izrita: y en su división había veinte y cuatro mil.
8 The fifth captain for the fifth month was Shamhuth the Izrahite. In his division were twenty-four thousand.
9 The sixt for the sixt moneth was Ira the sonne of Ikkesh the Tekoite: and in his course foure and twentie thousand. 9 El sexto para el sexto mes era Hira hijo de Icces, de Tecoa; y en su división veinte y cuatro mil.
9 The sixth captain for the sixth month was Ira the son of Ikkesh the Tekoite. In his division were twenty-four thousand.
10 The seuenth for the seuenth moneth was Helez the Pelonite, of the sonnes of Ephraim: and in his course foure and twentie thousand. 10 El séptimo para el séptimo mes era Helles Pelonita, de los hijos de Ephraim; y en su división veinte y cuatro mil.
10 The seventh captain for the seventh month was Helez the Pelonite, of the children of Ephraim. In his division were twenty-four thousand.
11 The eight for the eight moneth was Sibbecai the Hushathite of the Zarhites: and in his course foure and twentie thousand. 11 El octavo para el octavo mes era Sibbecai Husatita, de Zarahi; y en su división veinte y cuatro mil.
11 The eighth captain for the eighth month was Sibbecai the Hushathite, of the Zerahites. In his division were twenty-four thousand.
12 The ninth for the ninth moneth was Abiezer the Anethothite of the sonnes of Iemini: and in his course foure and twentie thousand. 12 El noveno para el noveno mes era Abiezer Anathothita, de los Benjamitas; y en su división veinte y cuatro mil.
12 The ninth captain for the ninth month was Abiezer the Anathothite, of the Benjamites. In his division were twenty-four thousand.
13 The tenth for the tenth moneth was Maharai, the Netophathite of the Zarhites: and in his course foure and twentie thousand. 13 El décimo para el décimo mes era Maharai Nethophathita, de Zarahi; y en su división veinte y cuatro mil.
13 The tenth captain for the tenth month was Maharai the Netophathite, of the Zerahites. In his division were twenty-four thousand.
14 The eleueth for the eleuenth moneth was Benaiah the Pirathonite of the sonnes of Ephraim: and in his course foure and twentie thousand. 14 El undécimo para el undécimo mes era Benaías Piratonita, de los hijos de Ephraim; y en su división veinte y cuatro mil.
14 The eleventh captain for the eleventh month was Benaiah the Pirathonite, of the children of Ephraim. In his division were twenty-four thousand.
15 The twelft for the twelft moneth was Heldai the Netophathite, of Othniel: and in his course foure and twentie thousand. 15 El duodécimo para el duodécimo mes era Heldai Nethophathita, de Othniel; y en su división veinte y cuatro mil.

16 Moreouer the rulers ouer the tribes of Israel were these: ouer the Reubenites was ruler, Eliezer the sonne of Zichri: ouer the Shimeonites, Shephatiah the sonne of Maachah: 16 Asimismo sobre las tribus de Israel: el jefe de los Rubenitas era Eliezer hijo de Zichri; de los Simeonitas, Sephatías, hijo de Maachâ:
16 Furthermore over the tribes of Israel: of the Reubenites, Eliezer the son of Zichri was the ruler; of the Simeonites, Shephatiah the son of Maacah;
17 Ouer the Leuites, Hashabiah the sonne of Remuel: ouer them of Aharon, and Zadok: 17 De los Levitas, Hasabías hijo de Camuel; de los Aaronitas, Sadoc;

20 of the children of Ephraim, Hoshea the son of Azaziah; of the half-tribe of Manasseh, Joel the son of Pedaiah;
21 Ouer the other halfe of Manasseh in Gilead, Iddo the sonne of Zechariah: ouer Beniamin, Iaasiel the sonne of Abner: 21 De la otra media tribu de Manasés en Galaad, Iddo hijo de Zachârías; de los de Benjamín, Jaaciel hijo de Abner;
21 of the half-tribe of Manasseh in Gilead, Iddo the son of Zechariah; of Benjamin, Jaasiel the son of Abner;
22 Ouer Dan, Azariel the sonne of Ieroham. these are the princes of the tribes of Israel. 22 Y de Dan, Azarael hijo de Jeroam. Estos fueron los jefes de las tribus de Israel.

23 But Dauid tooke not the nober of them from twentie yeere olde and vnder, because the Lord had sayde that he would increase Israel like vnto the starres of the heauens. 23 Y no tomó David el número de los que eran de veinte años abajo, por cuanto Jehová había dicho que él había de multiplicar á Israel como las estrellas del cielo.
23 But David didn’t take the number of them from twenty years old and under, because Yahweh had said he would increase Israel like the stars of the sky.
24 And Ioab the sonne of Zeruiah beganne to nomber: but hee finished it not, because there came wrath for it against Israel, neither was the nomber put into the Chronicles of King Dauid. 24 Joab hijo de Sarvia había comenzado á contar, mas no acabó, pues por esto vino la ira sobre Israel: y [así] el número no fué puesto en el registro de las crónicas del rey David.
24 Joab the son of Zeruiah began to take a census, but didn’t finish; and wrath came on Israel for this. The number wasn’t put into the account in the chronicles of King David.
25 And ouer the Kings treasures was Azmaueth the sonne of Adiel: and ouer the treasures in the fieldes, in the cities and in the villages and in the towers was Iehonathan the sonne of Vzziah: 25 Y Azmaveth hijo de Adiel tenía cargo de los tesoros del rey; y de los tesoros de los campos, y de las ciudades, y de las aldeas y castillos, Jonathán hijo de Uzzías;
25 Over the king’s treasures was Azmaveth the son of Adiel. Over the treasures in the fields, in the cities, in the villages, and in the towers was Jonathan the son of Uzziah;
26 And ouer the workemen in the fielde that tilled the ground, was Ezri the sonne of Chelub: 26 Y de los que trabajaban en la labranza de las tierras, Ezri hijo de Chêlud;
26 Over those who did the work of the field for tillage of the ground was Ezri the son of Chelub.
27 And ouer them that dressed the vines, was Shimei the Ramathite: and ouer that which apperteined to the vines, and ouer the store of the wine was Sabdi the Shiphmite: 27 Y de las viñas Simi Ramathita; y del fruto de las viñas para las bodegas, Zabdías Siphmita;
27 Over the vineyards was Shimei the Ramathite. Over the increase of the vineyards for the wine cellars was Zabdi the Shiphmite.
28 And ouer the oliue trees and mulberie trees that were in the valleys, was Baal Hanan the Gederite: and ouer the store of the oyle was Ioash: 28 Y de los olivares é higuerales que había en las campiñas, Baal-hanan Gederita; y de los almacenes del aceite, Joas;
28 Over the olive trees and the sycamore trees that were in the lowland was Baal Hanan the Gederite. Over the cellars of oil was Joash.
29 And ouer the oxen that fed in Sharon, was Shetrai the Sharonite: and ouer the oxen in the valleyes was Shaphat the sonne of Adlai: 29 De las vacas que pastaban en Sarón, Sitrai Saronita; y de las vacas que estaban en los valles, Saphat hijo de Adlai;
29 Over the herds that fed in Sharon was Shitrai the Sharonite. Over the herds that were in the valleys was Shaphat the son of Adlai.
30 And ouer the camels was Obil the Ishmaelite: and ouer the asses was Iehdeiah the Meronothite: 30 Y de los camellos, Obil Ismaelita; y de las asnas, Jedías Meronothita;
30 Over the camels was Obil the Ishmaelite. Over the donkeys was Jehdeiah the Meronothite. Over the flocks was Jaziz the Hagrite.
31 And ouer the sheepe was Iaziz the Hagerite: all these were the rulers of the substance that was King Dauids. 31 Y de las ovejas, Jaziz Agareno. Todos estos eran superintendentes de la hacienda del rey David.
31 All these were the rulers of the property which was King David’s.
32 And Iehonathan Dauids vncle a man of counsell and vnderstanding (for he was a scribe) and Iehiel the sonne of Hachmoni were with the Kings sonnes. 32 Y Jonathán, tío de David, era consejero, varón prudente y escriba; y Jehiel hijo de Hacmoni estaba con los hijos del rey.
32 Also Jonathan, David’s uncle, was a counselor, a man of understanding, and a scribe. Jehiel the son of Hachmoni was with the king’s sons.
33 And Ahitophel was the Kings counseller, and Hushai the Archite the Kings friend. 33 Y también Achitophel era consejero del rey; y Husai Arachîta amigo del rey.
33 Ahithophel was the king’s counselor. Hushai the Archite was the king’s friend.
34 And after Ahitophel was Iehoiada the sonne of Benaiah and Abiathar: and captaine of the Kings armie was Ioab. 34 Después de Achitophel era Joiada hijo de Benaías, y Abiathar. Y Joab era el general del ejército del rey.
34 After Ahithophel was Jehoiada the son of Benaiah, and Abiathar. Joab was the captain of the king’s army.
