LSV Literal Standard Version
WEB World English Bible (clásica, con deuterocanónicos)
1 TO THE OVERSEER. A PSALM OF THE SONS OF KORAH. You have accepted, O YHWH, Your land, || You have turned [to] the captivity of Jacob.
1 For the Chief Musician. A Psalm by the sons of Korah. Yahweh, you have been favorable to your land. You have restored the fortunes of Jacob.
2 You have carried away the iniquity of Your people, || You have covered all their sin. Selah.
2 You have forgiven the iniquity of your people. You have covered all their sin. Selah.
3 You have gathered up all Your wrath, || You have turned back from the fierceness of Your anger.
3 You have taken away all your wrath. You have turned from the fierceness of your anger.
4 Turn back [to] us, O God of our salvation, || And make void Your anger with us.
4 Turn us, God of our salvation, and cause your indignation toward us to cease.
5 Are You angry against us for all time? Do You draw out Your anger || To generation and generation?
5 Will you be angry with us forever? Will you draw out your anger to all generations?
6 Do You not turn back? You revive us, || And Your people rejoice in You.
6 Won’t you revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you?
7 Show us, O YHWH, your kindness, || And You give to us Your salvation.
7 Show us your loving kindness, Yahweh. Grant us your salvation.
8 I hear what God, YHWH, speaks, || For He speaks peace to His people, || And to His saints, and they do not turn back to folly.
8 I will hear what God, Yahweh, will speak, for he will speak peace to his people, his saints; but let them not turn again to folly.
9 Surely His salvation [is] near to those fearing Him, || That glory may dwell in our land.
9 Surely his salvation is near those who fear him, that glory may dwell in our land.
10 Kindness and truth have met, || Righteousness and peace have kissed,
10 Mercy and truth meet together. Righteousness and peace have kissed each other.
11 Truth springs up from the earth, || And righteousness looks out from the heavens,
11 Truth springs out of the earth. Righteousness has looked down from heaven.
12 YHWH also gives that which is good, || And our land gives its increase.
12 Yes, Yahweh will give that which is good. Our land will yield its increase.
13 Righteousness goes before Him, || And makes a way for His footsteps!
13 Righteousness goes before him, and prepares the way for his steps.

  1. Comentario Augustine of Hippo, Expositions on the Psalms (Psalm LXXXIV)

This Psalm is entitled, "For the winepresses." And, as you observed with me, my beloved (for I saw that you attended most closely), nothing is said in its text either of any press, or wine-basket, or vat, or of any of the instruments or the building of a winepress; nothing of this kind did we hear read; so that it …

  2. Cita 85:11 Cyril of Jerusalem, Catechetical Lectures (Lecture XIV)

The earth was condemned to thorns and thistles: the true Vine sprang up out of the earth, that the saying might be fulfilled, Truth sprang up out of the earth, and righteousness looked down from heaven.
