Notas sobre este texto (1)
LSV Literal Standard Version
WEB World English Bible (clásica, con deuterocanónicos)
1 YHWH has reigned, || He has put on excellence, || YHWH put on strength, He girded Himself, || Also—the world is established, unmoved.
1 Yahweh reigns! He is clothed with majesty! Yahweh is armed with strength. The world also is established. It can’t be moved.
2 Your throne is established since then, || You [are] from the age.
2 Your throne is established from long ago. You are from everlasting.
3 Floods have lifted up, O YHWH, || Floods have lifted up their voice, || Floods lift up their breakers.
3 The floods have lifted up, Yahweh, the floods have lifted up their voice. The floods lift up their waves.
4 Mightier than the voices of many mighty waters, breakers of a sea, || [Is] YHWH on high,
4 Above the voices of many waters, the mighty breakers of the sea, Yahweh on high is mighty.
5 Your testimonies have been very steadfast, || Holiness befits Your house, O YHWH, for [the] length of [Your] days!
5 Your statutes stand firm. Holiness adorns your house, Yahweh, forever more.

  1. Comentario Augustine of Hippo, Expositions on the Psalms (Psalm XCII)

We are not Christians, except on account of a future life: let no one hope for present blessings, let no one promise himself the happiness of the world, because he is a Christian: but let him use the happiness he hath, as he may, in what manner he may, when he may, as far as he may.
