MSB Majority Standard Bible WEB World English Bible (clásica, con deuterocanónicos) 1 When Jesus had finished saying these things, He left Galilee and went into the region of Judea beyond the Jordan.
1 When Jesus had finished these words, he departed from Galilee and came into the borders of Judea beyond the Jordan.
2 Large crowds followed Him, and He healed them there.
2 Great multitudes followed him, and he healed them there.
3 Then the Pharisees came and tested Him by asking, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for any reason?” 3 Entonces se llegaron á él los Fariseos, tentándole, y diciéndole: ¿Es lícito al hombre repudiar á su mujer por cualquiera causa?
3 Pharisees came to him, testing him and saying, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for any reason?”
4 Jesus answered, “Have you not read that from the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’ 4 Y él respondiendo, les dijo: ¿No habéis leído que el que [los] hizo al principio, macho y hembra los hizo,
4 He answered, “Haven’t you read that he who made them from the beginning made them male and female,
5 and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’? 5 Y dijo: Por tanto, el hombre dejará padre y madre, y se unirá á su mujer, y serán dos en una carne?
5 and said, ‘For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother, and shall be joined to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh’?
6 So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate.” 6 Así que, no son ya más dos, sino una carne: por tanto, lo que Dios juntó, no [lo] aparte el hombre.
6 So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, don’t let man tear apart.”
7 “Why then,” they asked, “did Moses order a man to give his wife a certificate of divorce and send her away?” 7 Dícenle: ¿Por qué, pues, Moisés mandó dar carta de divorcio, y repudiarla?
7 They asked him, “Why then did Moses command us to give her a certificate of divorce and divorce her?”
8 Jesus replied, “Moses permitted you to divorce your wives because of your hardness of heart. But it was not this way from the beginning. 8 Díceles: Por la dureza de vuestro corazón Moisés os permitió repudiar á vuestras mujeres: mas al principio no fué así.
8 He said to them, “Moses, because of the hardness of your hearts, allowed you to divorce your wives, but from the beginning it has not been so.
9 Now I tell you that whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another woman commits adultery. And he who marries a divorced woman commits adultery.” 9 Y yo os digo que cualquiera que repudiare á su mujer, si no fuere por causa de fornicación, y se casare con otra, adultera: y el que se casare con la repudiada, adultera.
9 I tell you that whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery; and he who marries her when she is divorced commits adultery.”
10 His disciples said to Him, “If this is the case between a man and his wife, it is better not to marry.” 10 Dícenle sus discípulos: Si así es la condición del hombre con su mujer, no conviene casarse.
10 His disciples said to him, “If this is the case of the man with his wife, it is not expedient to marry.”
11 “Not everyone can accept this word,” He replied, “but only those to whom it has been given. 11 Entonces él les dijo: No todos reciben esta palabra, sino aquellos á quienes es dado.
11 But he said to them, “Not all men can receive this saying, but those to whom it is given.
12 For there are eunuchs who were born that way; others were made that way by men; and still others live like eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. The one who can accept this should accept it.” 12 Porque hay eunucos que nacieron así del vientre de su madre; y hay eunucos, que son hechos eunucos por los hombres; y hay eunucos que se hicieron á sí mismos eunucos por causa del reino de los cielos; el que pueda ser capaz de eso, séalo.
12 For there are eunuchs who were born that way from their mother’s womb, and there are eunuchs who were made eunuchs by men; and there are eunuchs who made themselves eunuchs for the Kingdom of Heaven’s sake. He who is able to receive it, let him receive it.”
13 Then little children were brought to Jesus for Him to place His hands on them and pray for them. And the disciples rebuked those who brought them.
13 Then little children were brought to him that he should lay his hands on them and pray; and the disciples rebuked them.
14 But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not hinder them! For the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” 14 Y Jesús dijo: Dejad á los niños, y no les impidáis de venir á mí; porque de los tales es el reino de los cielos.
14 But Jesus said, “Allow the little children, and don’t forbid them to come to me; for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these.”
15 And after He had placed His hands on them, He went on from there.
15 He laid his hands on them, and departed from there.
16 Just then a man came up to Jesus and inquired, “Good Teacher, what good thing must I do to obtain eternal life?” 16 Y he aquí, uno llegándose le dijo: Maestro bueno, ¿qué bien haré para tener la vida eterna?
16 Behold, one came to him and said, “Good teacher, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?”
17 “Why do you call Me good?” Jesus replied. “There is no one who is good but God. If you want to enter life, keep the commandments.” 17 Y él le dijo: ¿Por qué me llamas bueno?
17 He said to him, “Why do you call me good? No one is good but one, that is, God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.”
18 “Which ones?” the man asked. Jesus answered, “‘Do not murder, do not commit adultery, do not steal, do not bear false witness, 18 Dícele: ¿Cuáles? Y Jesús dijo: No matarás: No adulterarás: No hurtarás: No dirás falso testimonio:
18 He said to him, “Which ones?” Jesus said, “‘You shall not murder.’ ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ ‘You shall not steal.’ ‘You shall not offer false testimony.’
19 honor your father and mother, and love your neighbor as yourself.’” 19 Honra á tu padre y á tu madre: y, Amarás á tu prójimo como á ti mismo.
19 ‘Honor your father and your mother.’ And, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’”
20 “All these I have kept from my youth,” said the young man. “What do I still lack?” 20 Dícele el mancebo: Todo esto guardé desde mi juventud: ¿qué más me falta?
20 The young man said to him, “All these things I have observed from my youth. What do I still lack?”
21 Jesus told him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow Me.” 21 Dícele Jesús: Si quieres ser perfecto, anda, vende lo que tienes, y da[lo] á los pobres, y tendrás tesoro en el cielo; y ven, sígueme.
21 Jesus said to him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have, and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.”
22 When the young man heard this, he went away in sorrow, because he had great wealth.
22 But when the young man heard this, he went away sad, for he was one who had great possessions.
23 Then Jesus said to His disciples, “Truly I tell you, it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. 23 Entonces Jesús dijo á sus discípulos: De cierto os digo, que un rico difícilmente entrará en el reino de los cielos.
23 Jesus said to his disciples, “Most certainly I say to you, a rich man will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven with difficulty.
24 Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.” 24 Mas os digo, que más liviano trabajo es pasar un camello por el ojo de una aguja, que entrar un rico en el reino de Dios.
24 Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through a needle’s eye than for a rich man to enter into God’s Kingdom.”
25 When His disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and asked, “Who then can be saved?” 25 Mas sus discípulos, oyendo [estas cosas], se espantaron en gran manera, diciendo: ¿Quién pues podrá ser salvo?
25 When the disciples heard it, they were exceedingly astonished, saying, “Who then can be saved?”
26 Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” 26 Y mirándo[los] Jesús, les dijo: Para con los hombres imposible es esto; mas para con Dios todo es posible.
26 Looking at them, Jesus said, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
27 “Look,” Peter replied, “we have left everything to follow You. What then will there be for us?” 27 Entonces respondiendo Pedro, le dijo: He aquí, nosotros hemos dejado todo, y te hemos seguido: ¿qué pues tendremos?
27 Then Peter answered, “Behold, we have left everything and followed you. What then will we have?”
28 Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, in the renewal of all things, when the Son of Man sits on His glorious throne, you who have followed Me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. 28 Y Jesús les dijo: De cierto os digo, que vosotros que me habéis seguido, en la regeneración, cuando se sentará el Hijo del hombre en el trono de su gloria, vosotros también os sentaréis sobre doce tronos, para juzgar á las doce tribus de Israel.
28 Jesus said to them, “Most certainly I tell you that you who have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of Man will sit on the throne of his glory, you also will sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
29 And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or fields for the sake of My name will receive a hundredfold and will inherit eternal life.
29 Everyone who has left houses, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name’s sake, will receive one hundred times, and will inherit eternal life.
30 But many who are first will be last, and the last will be first. 30 Mas muchos primeros serán postreros, y postreros primeros.
30 But many will be last who are first, and first who are last.
