ULB Unlocked Literal Bible WEB World English Bible (clásica, con deuterocanónicos) 1 It happened when Jesus was praying in a certain place, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray just as John taught his disciples.” 1 Y ACONTECIÓ que estando él orando en un lugar, como acabó, uno de sus discípulos le dijo: Señor, enséñanos á orar, como también Juan enseñó á sus discípulos.
1 When he finished praying in a certain place, one of his disciples said to him, “Lord, teach us to pray, just as John also taught his disciples.”
2 Jesus said to them, “When you pray say, 'Father, may your name be sanctified. May your kingdom come. 2 Y les dijo: Cuando orareis, decid: Padre nuestro que estás en los cielos; sea tu nombre santificado. Venga tu reino. Sea hecha tu voluntad, como en el cielo, así también en la tierra.
2 He said to them, “When you pray, say, ‘Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. May your Kingdom come. May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.
3 Give us our daily bread each day.
3 Give us day by day our daily bread.
4◆ Forgive us our sins, as we forgive everyone who is in debt to us.
4 Forgive us our sins, for we ourselves also forgive everyone who is indebted to us. Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.’”
5 Jesus said to them, “Which of you will have a friend, and will go to him at midnight, and say to him, 'Friend, lend to me three loaves of bread, 5 Díjoles también: ¿Quién de vosotros tendrá un amigo, é irá á él á media noche, y le dirá: Amigo, préstame tres panes,
5 He said to them, “Which of you, if you go to a friend at midnight and tell him, ‘Friend, lend me three loaves of bread,
6 since a friend of mine just came in from the road, and I do not have anything to set before him'? 6 Porque un amigo mío ha venido á mí de camino, y no tengo qué ponerle delante;
6 for a friend of mine has come to me from a journey, and I have nothing to set before him,’
7 Then the one inside who answered him may say, 'Do not bother me. The door is already shut, and my children, along with me, are in bed. I am not able to get up and give bread to you.' 7 Y el de dentro respondiendo, dijere: No me seas molesto; la puerta está ya cerrada, y mis niños están conmigo en cama; no puedo levantarme, y darte?
7 and he from within will answer and say, ‘Don’t bother me. The door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed. I can’t get up and give it to you’?
8 I say to you, even if he does not get up and give bread to you because you are his friend, yet because of your shameless persistence, he will get up and give you as many loaves of bread as you need.
8 I tell you, although he will not rise and give it to him because he is his friend, yet because of his persistence, he will get up and give him as many as he needs.
9 I also say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
9 “I tell you, keep asking, and it will be given you. Keep seeking, and you will find. Keep knocking, and it will be opened to you.
10 For every asking person receives; and the seeking person finds; and to the person who knocks, it will be opened.
10 For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened.
11 Which father among you, if your son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead of a fish?
11 “Which of you fathers, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, he won’t give him a snake instead of a fish, will he?
12 Or if he asks for an egg, will you give a scorpion to him?
12 Or if he asks for an egg, he won’t give him a scorpion, will he?
13 Therefore, if you who are evil know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father from heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him?” 13 Pues si vosotros, siendo malos, sabéis dar buenas dádivas á vuestros hijos, ¿cuánto más vuestro Padre celestial dará el Espíritu Santo á los que lo pidieren de él?
13 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him?”
14 Now Jesus was driving out a demon that was mute. When the demon had gone out, the man who had been mute spoke, and the crowd was amazed.
14 He was casting out a demon, and it was mute. When the demon had gone out, the mute man spoke; and the multitudes marveled.
15 But some of the people said, “By Beelzebul, the ruler of demons, he is driving out demons.” 15 Mas algunos de ellos decían: En Beelzebub, príncipe de los demonios, echa fuera los demonios.
15 But some of them said, “He casts out demons by Beelzebul, the prince of the demons.”
16 Others tested him and sought from him a sign from heaven.
16 Others, testing him, sought from him a sign from heaven.
17 But Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them, “Every kingdom divided against itself is made desolate, and a house divided against itself falls. 17 Mas él, conociendo los pensamientos de ellos, les dijo: Todo reino dividido contra sí mismo, es asolado; y una casa [dividida] contra sí misma, cae.
17 But he, knowing their thoughts, said to them, “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation. A house divided against itself falls.
18 If Satan is divided against himself, how will his kingdom stand? For you say I cast out demons by Beelzebul.
18 If Satan also is divided against himself, how will his kingdom stand? For you say that I cast out demons by Beelzebul.
19 If I drive out demons by Beelzebul, by whom do your followers drive them out? Because of this, they will be your judges.
19 But if I cast out demons by Beelzebul, by whom do your children cast them out? Therefore they will be your judges.
20 But if I drive out demons by the finger of God, then the kingdom of God has come to you.
20 But if I by God’s finger cast out demons, then God’s Kingdom has come to you.
21 When a strong man who is fully armed guards his own house, his goods are safe, 21 Cuando el fuerte armado guarda su atrio, en paz está lo que posee.
21 “When the strong man, fully armed, guards his own dwelling, his goods are safe.
22 but when a stronger man overcomes him, the stronger man takes away the armor from the man, and plunders the man's possessions.
22 But when someone stronger attacks him and overcomes him, he takes from him his whole armor in which he trusted, and divides his plunder.
23 The one who is not with me is against me, and the one who does not gather with me scatters.
23 “He who is not with me is against me. He who doesn’t gather with me scatters.
24 When an unclean spirit has gone away from a man, it passes through waterless places and looks for rest. Finding none, it says, 'I will return to my house from which I came.' 24 Cuando el espíritu inmundo saliere del hombre, anda por lugares secos, buscando reposo; y no hallándolo, dice: Me volveré á mi casa de donde salí.
24 The unclean spirit, when he has gone out of the man, passes through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he says, ‘I will turn back to my house from which I came out.’
25 Having returned, it finds that house swept out and put in order. 25 Y viniendo, la halla barrida y adornada.
25 When he returns, he finds it swept and put in order.
26 Then it goes and takes along with it seven other spirits more evil than itself and they all come in to live there. Then the final condition of that man becomes worse than the first.” 26 Entonces va, y toma otros siete espíritus peores que él; y entrados, habitan allí: y lo postrero del tal hombre es peor que lo primero.
26 Then he goes and takes seven other spirits more evil than himself, and they enter in and dwell there. The last state of that man becomes worse than the first.”
27 It happened that, as he said these things, a certain woman raised her voice above the crowd and said to him, “Blessed is the womb that bore you and the breasts that nursed you.” 27 Y aconteció que diciendo estas cosas, una mujer de la compañía, levantando la voz, le dijo: Bienaventurado el vientre que te trajo, y los pechos que mamaste.
27 It came to pass, as he said these things, a certain woman out of the multitude lifted up her voice and said to him, “Blessed is the womb that bore you, and the breasts which nursed you!”
28 But he said, “Rather, blessed are they who hear the word of God and keep it.” 28 Y él dijo: Antes bienaventurados los que oyen la palabra de Dios, y la guardan.
28 But he said, “On the contrary, blessed are those who hear the word of God, and keep it.”
29 As the crowds were increasing, Jesus began to say, “This generation is an evil generation. It seeks a sign, though no sign will be given to it except the sign of Jonah. 29 Y juntándose las gentes á él, comenzó á decir: Esta generación mala es: señal busca, mas señal no le será dada, sino la señal de Jonás.
29 When the multitudes were gathering together to him, he began to say, “This is an evil generation. It seeks after a sign. No sign will be given to it but the sign of Jonah the prophet.
30 For just as Jonah became a sign to the Ninevites, so too the Son of Man will be a sign to this generation.
30 For even as Jonah became a sign to the Ninevites, so the Son of Man will also be to this generation.
31 The Queen of the South will rise up at the judgment with the men of this generation and condemn them, for she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and see, someone greater than Solomon is here.
31 The Queen of the South will rise up in the judgment with the men of this generation and will condemn them, for she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and behold, one greater than Solomon is here.
32 The men of Nineveh will stand up at the judgment with this generation of people and will condemn it, for they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and see, someone greater than Jonah is here.
32 The men of Nineveh will stand up in the judgment with this generation, and will condemn it, for they repented at the preaching of Jonah; and behold, one greater than Jonah is here.
33 No one, after lighting a lamp, puts it in a hidden place or under a basket, but on a lampstand, so that those who enter may see the light.
33 “No one, when he has lit a lamp, puts it in a cellar or under a basket, but on a stand, that those who come in may see the light.
34 Your eye is the lamp of the body. When your eye is good, the whole body is filled with light. But when your eye is bad, your body is full of darkness.
34 The lamp of the body is the eye. Therefore when your eye is good, your whole body is also full of light; but when it is evil, your body also is full of darkness.
35 Therefore, be careful that the light in you is not darkness.
35 Therefore see whether the light that is in you isn’t darkness.
36 If then your whole body is full of light, with no part of it in darkness, then your whole body will be like when a lamp shines its brightness on you.” 36 Así que, [siendo] todo tu cuerpo resplandeciente, no teniendo alguna parte de tinieblas, será todo luminoso, como cuando una antorcha de resplandor te alumbra.
36 If therefore your whole body is full of light, having no part dark, it will be wholly full of light, as when the lamp with its bright shining gives you light.”
37 When he had finished speaking, a Pharisee asked him to eat with him at his house, so Jesus went in and reclined.
37 Now as he spoke, a certain Pharisee asked him to dine with him. He went in and sat at the table.
38 The Pharisee was surprised that Jesus first did not wash before dinner.
38 When the Pharisee saw it, he marveled that he had not first washed himself before dinner.
39 But the Lord said to him, “Now then, you Pharisees clean the outside of cups and bowls, but the inside of you is filled with greed and evil. 39 Y el Señor le dijo: Ahora vosotros los Fariseos lo de fuera del vaso y del plato limpiáis; mas lo interior de vosotros está lleno de rapiña y de maldad.
39 The Lord said to him, “Now you Pharisees cleanse the outside of the cup and of the platter, but your inward part is full of extortion and wickedness.
40 You senseless men! Did not the one who made the outside also make the inside?
40 You foolish ones, didn’t he who made the outside make the inside also?
41 Give to the poor what is inside, and then all things will be clean for you.
41 But give for gifts to the needy those things which are within, and behold, all things will be clean to you.
42 But woe to you Pharisees, because you tithe mint and rue and every other garden herb, but you neglect justice and the love of God. It is necessary to act justly and love God, without failing to do the other things also.
42 But woe to you Pharisees! For you tithe mint and rue and every herb, but you bypass justice and God’s love. You ought to have done these, and not to have left the other undone.
43 Woe to you Pharisees, for you love the front seats in the synagogues and respectful greetings in the marketplaces.
43 Woe to you Pharisees! For you love the best seats in the synagogues and the greetings in the marketplaces.
44 Woe to you, for you are like unmarked graves that people walk over without knowing it.” 44 ¡Ay de vosotros, escribas y Fariseos, hipócritas! que sois como sepulcros que no se ven, y los hombres que andan encima no lo saben.
44 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like hidden graves, and the men who walk over them don’t know it.”
45 One of the teachers of the law said to him, “Teacher, what you say insults us too.” 45 Y respondiendo uno de los doctores de la ley, le dice: Maestro, cuando dices esto, también nos afrentas á nosotros.
45 One of the lawyers answered him, “Teacher, in saying this you insult us also.”
46 Jesus said, “Woe to you, teachers of the law! For you put people under burdens that are hard to carry, but you do not touch the burdens with one of your own fingers. 46 Y él dijo: ¡Ay de vosotros también, doctores de la ley! que cargáis á los hombres con cargas que no pueden llevar; mas vosotros ni aun con un dedo tocáis las cargas.
46 He said, “Woe to you lawyers also! For you load men with burdens that are difficult to carry, and you yourselves won’t even lift one finger to help carry those burdens.
47 Woe to you, because you build tombs for the prophets, and it was your ancestors who killed them.
47 Woe to you! For you build the tombs of the prophets, and your fathers killed them.
48 So you are witnesses and you consent to the works of your ancestors, for they indeed killed them and you build their tombs.
48 So you testify and consent to the works of your fathers. For they killed them, and you build their tombs.
49 For this reason also, God's wisdom said, 'I will send to them prophets and apostles, and they will persecute and kill some of them.' 49 Por tanto, la sabiduría de Dios también dijo: Enviaré á ellos profetas y apóstoles; y de ellos [á unos] matarán y [á otros] perseguirán;
49 Therefore also the wisdom of God said, ‘I will send to them prophets and apostles; and some of them they will kill and persecute,
50 This generation, then, will be held responsible for all the blood of the prophets shed since the world began, 50 Para que de esta generación sea demandada la sangre de todos los profetas, que ha sido derramada desde la fundación del mundo;
50 that the blood of all the prophets, which was shed from the foundation of the world, may be required of this generation,
51 from Abel's blood to the blood of Zechariah, who was killed between the altar and the sanctuary. Yes, I say to you, this generation will be held responsible.
51 from the blood of Abel to the blood of Zachariah, who perished between the altar and the sanctuary.’ Yes, I tell you, it will be required of this generation.
52 Woe to you teachers of Jewish laws, because you have taken away the key of knowledge; you do not enter in yourselves, and you hinder those who are entering.” 52 ¡Ay de vosotros, doctores de la ley! que habéis quitado la llave de la ciencia; vosotros mismos no entrasteis, y á los que entraban impedisteis.
52 Woe to you lawyers! For you took away the key of knowledge. You didn’t enter in yourselves, and those who were entering in, you hindered.”
53 After Jesus left there, the scribes and the Pharisees opposed him and argued with him about many things, 53 Y diciéndoles estas cosas, los escribas y los Fariseos comenzaron á apretar[le] en gran manera, y á provocarle á que hablase de muchas cosas;
53 As he said these things to them, the scribes and the Pharisees began to be terribly angry, and to draw many things out of him,
54 trying to trap him in his own words.
54 lying in wait for him, and seeking to catch him in something he might say, that they might accuse him.
