ULB Unlocked Literal Bible WEB World English Bible (clásica, con deuterocanónicos) 1 Jesus spoke to them again in parables, saying, 1 Y RESPONDIENDO Jesús, les volvió á hablar en parábolas, diciendo:
1 Jesus answered and spoke to them again in parables, saying,
2 “The kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who prepared a marriage feast for his son. 2 El reino de los cielos es semejante á un hombre rey, que hizo bodas á su hijo;
2 “The Kingdom of Heaven is like a certain king, who made a wedding feast for his son,
3 He sent out his servants to call those who had been invited to come to the marriage feast, but they would not come.
3 and sent out his servants to call those who were invited to the wedding feast, but they would not come.
4 Again the king sent other servants, saying, 'Tell them who are invited, “See, I have prepared my dinner. My oxen and fattened calves have been killed, and all things are ready. Come to the marriage feast.”' 4 Volvió á enviar otros siervos, diciendo: Decid á los llamados: He aquí, mi comida he aparejado; mis toros y animales engordados son muertos, y todo está prevenido: venid á las bodas.
4 Again he sent out other servants, saying, ‘Tell those who are invited, “Behold, I have prepared my dinner. My cattle and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready. Come to the wedding feast!”’
5 But they paid no attention and went away, one to his farm, another to his business. 5 Mas ellos no se cuidaron, y se fueron, uno á su labranza, y otro á sus negocios;
5 But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his own farm, another to his merchandise;
6 The others seized the king's servants, treated them shamefully, and killed them.
6 and the rest grabbed his servants, treated them shamefully, and killed them.
7 The king was angry, and he sent his soldiers and they killed those murderers and burned their city.
7 When the king heard that, he was angry, and sent his armies, destroyed those murderers, and burned their city.
8 Then he said to his servants, 'The wedding is ready, but those who were invited were not worthy.
8 “Then he said to his servants, ‘The wedding is ready, but those who were invited weren’t worthy.
9 Therefore go to the highway crossings and invite as many people to the marriage feast as you can find.' 9 Id pues á las salidas de los caminos, y llamad á las bodas á cuantos hallareis.
9 Go therefore to the intersections of the highways, and as many as you may find, invite to the wedding feast.’
10 The servants went out to the highways and gathered together all the people they found, both bad and good. So the wedding hall was filled with guests.
10 Those servants went out into the highways and gathered together as many as they found, both bad and good. The wedding was filled with guests.
11 But when the king came in to look at the guests, he saw a man there who was not wearing wedding clothes.
11 “But when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man who didn’t have on wedding clothing,
12 The king said to him, 'Friend, how did you come in here without wedding clothes?' But the man was speechless.
12 and he said to him, ‘Friend, how did you come in here not wearing wedding clothing?’ He was speechless.
13 Then the king said to the servants, 'Bind this man hand and foot, and throw him into the outer darkness, where there will be weeping and the grinding of teeth.' 13 Entonces el rey dijo á los que servían: Atado de pies y de manos tomadle, y echadle en las tinieblas de afuera: allí será el lloro y el crujir de dientes.
13 Then the king said to the servants, ‘Bind him hand and foot, take him away, and throw him into the outer darkness. That is where the weeping and grinding of teeth will be.’
14 For many people are called, but few are chosen.” 14 Porque muchos son llamados, y pocos escogidos.
14 For many are called, but few chosen.”
15 Then the Pharisees went and planned how they might entrap Jesus in his own talk.
15 Then the Pharisees went and took counsel how they might entrap him in his talk.
16 Then they sent to him their disciples, together with the Herodians. They said to Jesus, “Teacher, we know that you are truthful, and that you teach God's way in truth. You care for no one's opinion, and you do not show partiality between people. 16 Y envían á él los discípulos de ellos, con los Herodianos, diciendo: Maestro, sabemos que eres amador de la verdad, y [que] enseñas con verdad el camino de Dios, y [que] no te curas de nadie, porque no tienes acepción de persona de hombres.
16 They sent their disciples to him, along with the Herodians, saying, “Teacher, we know that you are honest, and teach the way of God in truth, no matter whom you teach; for you aren’t partial to anyone.
17 So tell us, what do you think? Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar or not?” 17 Dinos pues, ¿qué te parece? ¿es lícito dar tributo á César, ó no?
17 Tell us therefore, what do you think? Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar, or not?”
18 But Jesus understood their wickedness and said, “Why are you testing me, you hypocrites? 18 Mas Jesús, entendida la malicia de ellos, [les] dice: ¿Por qué me tentáis, hipócritas?
18 But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, “Why do you test me, you hypocrites?
19 Show me the coin for the tax.” Then they brought a denarius to him. 19 Mostradme la moneda del tributo. Y ellos le presentaron un denario.
19 Show me the tax money.” They brought to him a denarius.
20 Jesus said to them, “Whose image and name are these?” 20 Entonces les dice: ¿Cúya es esta figura, y lo que está encima escrito?
20 He asked them, “Whose is this image and inscription?”
21 They said to him, “Caesar's.” Then Jesus said to them, “Then give to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's.” 21 Dícenle: De César. Y díceles: Pagad pues á César lo que es de César, y á Dios lo que es de Dios.
21 They said to him, “Caesar’s.” Then he said to them, “Give therefore to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.”
22 When they heard it, they marveled. Then they left him and went away.
22 When they heard it, they marveled, and left him and went away.
23 On that day some Sadducees, who say there is no resurrection, came to him. They asked him, 23 Aquel día llegaron á él los Saduceos, que dicen no haber resurrección, y le preguntaron,
23 On that day Sadducees (those who say that there is no resurrection) came to him. They asked him,
24 saying, “Teacher, Moses said, 'If a man dies, having no children, his brother must marry his wife and have children for his brother.' 24 Diciendo: Maestro, Moisés dijo: Si alguno muriere sin hijos, su hermano se casará con su mujer, y despertará simiente á su hermano.
24 saying, “Teacher, Moses said, ‘If a man dies, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife and raise up offspring for his brother.’
25 There were seven brothers. The first married and then died. Having left no children, he left his wife to his brother.
25 Now there were with us seven brothers. The first married and died, and having no offspring left his wife to his brother.
26 Then the second brother did the same thing, then the third, all the way to the seventh brother.
26 In the same way, the second also, and the third, to the seventh.
27 After them all, the woman died.
27 After them all, the woman died.
28 Now in the resurrection, whose wife will she be of the seven brothers? For they all had married her.” 28 En la resurrección pues, ¿de cuál de los siete será ella mujer? porque todos la tuvieron.
28 In the resurrection therefore, whose wife will she be of the seven? For they all had her.”
29 But Jesus answered and said to them, “You are mistaken, because you do not know the scriptures or the power of God. 29 Entonces respondiendo Jesús, les dijo: Erráis ignorando las Escrituras, y el poder de Dios.
29 But Jesus answered them, “You are mistaken, not knowing the Scriptures, nor the power of God.
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage. Instead, they are like angels in heaven.
30 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like God’s angels in heaven.
31 But concerning the resurrection of the dead, have you not read what was spoken to you by God, saying, 31 Y de la resurrección de los muertos, ¿no habéis leído lo que os es dicho por Dios, que dice:
31 But concerning the resurrection of the dead, haven’t you read that which was spoken to you by God, saying,
32 'I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob'? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.” 32 Yo soy el Dios de Abraham, y el Dios de Isaac, y el Dios de Jacob?
32 ‘I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.”
33 When the crowds heard this, they were astonished at his teaching.
33 When the multitudes heard it, they were astonished at his teaching.
34 But when the Pharisees heard that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, they gathered themselves together.
34 But the Pharisees, when they heard that he had silenced the Sadducees, gathered themselves together.
35 One of them, a lawyer, asked him a question, testing him— 35 Y preguntó uno de ellos, intérprete de la ley, tentándole y diciendo:
35 One of them, a lawyer, asked him a question, testing him.
36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the law?” 36 Maestro, ¿cuál es el mandamiento grande en la ley?
36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the law?”
37 Jesus said to him, “'Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.' 37 Y Jesús le dijo: Amarás al Señor tu Dios de todo tu corazón, y de toda tu alma, y de toda tu mente.
37 Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’
38 This is the great and first commandment.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And a second commandment is like it—'Love your neighbor as yourself.' 39 Y el segundo es semejante á éste: Amarás á tu prójimo como á ti mismo.
39 A second likewise is this, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
40 On these two commandments depend the whole law and the prophets.” 40 De estos dos mandamientos depende toda la ley y los profetas.
40 The whole law and the prophets depend on these two commandments.”
41 Now while the Pharisees were still gathered together, Jesus asked them a question.
41 Now while the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them a question,
42 He said, “What do you think about the Christ? Whose son is he?” They said to him, “The son of David.” 42 Diciendo: ¿Qué os parece del Cristo? ¿de quién es Hijo? Dícenle: De David.
42 saying, “What do you think of the Christ? Whose son is he?” They said to him, “Of David.”
43 Jesus said to them, “How then does David in the Spirit call him Lord, saying, 43 El les dice: ¿Pues cómo David en Espíritu le llama Señor, diciendo:
43 He said to them, “How then does David in the Spirit call him Lord, saying,
44 'The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool”'? 44 Dijo el Señor á mi Señor: Siéntate á mi diestra, entre tanto que pongo tus enemigos por estrado de tus pies?
44 ‘The Lord said to my Lord, sit on my right hand, until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet’?
45 If David then calls the Christ 'Lord,' how is he David's son?” 45 Pues si David le llama Señor, ¿cómo es su Hijo?
45 “If then David calls him Lord, how is he his son?”
46 No one was able to answer him a word, and no man dared ask him any more questions from that day on. 46 Y nadie le podía responder palabra; ni osó alguno desde aquel día preguntarle más.
46 No one was able to answer him a word, neither did any man dare ask him any more questions from that day forward.
