1 Και ελάλησε Κύριος προς τον Ιησούν λέγων,
1 Y HABLÓ Jehová á Josué, diciendo:
1 Yahweh spoke to Joshua, saying,
2 Είπε προς τους υιούς Ισραήλ λέγων, Διορίσατε εις εαυτούς τας πόλεις της καταφυγής, περί των οποίων είπα προς εσάς διά του Μωϋσέως·
2 Habla á los hijos de Israel, diciendo: Señalaos las ciudades de refugio, de las cuales yo os hablé por Moisés;
2 “Speak to the children of Israel, saying, ‘Assign the cities of refuge, of which I spoke to you by Moses,
3 διά να φεύγη εκεί ο φονεύς, όστις φονεύση άνθρωπον ακουσίως εξ αγνοίας· και αύται θέλουσιν είσθαι εις εσάς διά καταφύγιον από του εκδικητού του αίματος.
3 Para que se acoja allí el homicida que matare á alguno por yerro y no á sabiendas; que os sean por acogimiento del cercano del muerto.
3 that the man slayer who kills any person accidentally or unintentionally may flee there. They shall be to you for a refuge from the avenger of blood.
4 Και όταν ο φεύγων εις μίαν εκ των πόλεων τούτων σταθή εις την είσοδον της πύλης της πόλεως, και λαλήση την υπόθεσιν αυτού εις επήκοον των πρεσβυτέρων της πόλεως εκείνης, ούτοι θέλουσι δεχθή αυτόν εις την πόλιν προς εαυτούς και δώσει τόπον εις αυτόν, και θέλει κατοικεί μετ' αυτών.
4 Y el que se acogiere á alguna de aquellas ciudades, presentaráse á la puerta de la ciudad, y dirá sus causas, oyéndolo los ancianos de aquella ciudad: y ellos le recibirán consigo dentro de la ciudad, y le darán lugar que habite con ellos.
4 He shall flee to one of those cities, and shall stand at the entrance of the gate of the city, and declare his case in the ears of the elders of that city. They shall take him into the city with them, and give him a place, that he may live among them.
5 Και εάν ο εκδικητής του αίματος καταδιώξη αυτόν, δεν θέλουσι παραδώσει τον φονέα εις τας χείρας αυτού· διότι εξ αγνοίας επάταξε τον πλησίον αυτού και δεν εμίσει αυτόν πρότερον.
5 Y cuando el cercano del muerto le siguiere, no entregarán en su mano al homicida, por cuanto hirió á su prójimo por yerro, ni tuvo con él antes enemistad.
5 If the avenger of blood pursues him, then they shall not deliver up the man slayer into his hand; because he struck his neighbor unintentionally, and didn’t hate him before.
6 Και θέλει κατοικεί εν εκείνη τη πόλει, εωσού παρασταθή ενώπιον της συναγωγής εις κρίσιν, έως του θανάτου του ιερέως του μεγάλου, του όντος εν ταις ημέραις εκείναις· τότε ο φονεύς θέλει επιστρέψει και υπάγει εις την πόλιν αυτού και εις την οικίαν αυτού, εις την πόλιν όθεν έφυγε.
6 Y quedará en aquella ciudad hasta que parezca en juicio delante del ayuntamiento, hasta la muerte del gran sacerdote que fuere en aquel tiempo: entonces el homicida tornará y vendrá á su ciudad y á su casa y á la ciudad de donde huyó.
6 He shall dwell in that city until he stands before the congregation for judgment, until the death of the high priest that shall be in those days. Then the man slayer shall return, and come to his own city, and to his own house, to the city he fled from.’”
7 Και διώρισαν την Κέδες εν τη Γαλιλαία εν τω όρει Νεφθαλί, και την Συχέμ εν τω όρει Εφραΐμ, και την Κιριάθ-αρβά, ήτις είναι η Χεβρών, εν τη ορεινή του Ιούδα.
7 Entonces señalaron á Cedes en Galilea, en el monte de Nephtalí, y á Sichêm en el monte de Ephraim, y á Chîriath-arba, que es Hebrón, en el monte de Judá.
7 They set apart Kedesh in Galilee in the hill country of Naphtali, Shechem in the hill country of Ephraim, and Kiriath Arba (also called Hebron) in the hill country of Judah.
8 Εις δε το πέραν του Ιορδάνου, πλησίον της Ιεριχώ, προς ανατολάς, διώρισαν την Βοσόρ εν τη ερήμω επί της πεδιάδος εκ της φυλής Ρουβήν, και την Ραμώθ εν τη Γαλαάδ εκ της φυλής Γαδ, και την Γωλάν εν Βασάν εκ της φυλής Μανασσή.
8 Y de la otra parte del Jordán de Jericó, al oriente, señalaron á Beser en el desierto, en la llanura de la tribu de Rubén, y á Ramoth en Galaad de la tribu de Gad, y á Gaulón en Basán de la tribu de Manasés.
8 Beyond the Jordan at Jericho eastward, they assigned Bezer in the wilderness in the plain out of the tribe of Reuben, Ramoth in Gilead out of the tribe of Gad, and Golan in Bashan out of the tribe of Manasseh.
9 Αύται ήσαν αι πόλεις αι διορισθείσαι διά πάντας τους υιούς Ισραήλ και διά τους ξένους τους παροικούντας μεταξύ αυτών, ώστε πας ο φονεύσας τινά εξ αγνοίας να φεύγη εκεί, και να μη θανατωθή εκ της χειρός του εκδικητού του αίματος, εωσού παρασταθή ενώπιον της συναγωγής.
9 Estas fueron las ciudades señaladas para todos los hijos de Israel, y para el extranjero que morase entre ellos, para que se acogiese á ellas cualquiera que hiriese hombre por yerro, y no muriese por mano del cercano del muerto, hasta que compareciese delante del ayuntamiento.
9 These were the appointed cities for all the children of Israel, and for the alien who lives among them, that whoever kills any person unintentionally might flee there, and not die by the hand of the avenger of blood, until he stands trial before the congregation.
