1 Ισραήλ, επίστρεψον προς Κύριον τον Θεόν σου, διότι έπεσας διά της ανομίας σου.
1 CONVIÉRTETE, oh Israel, á Jehová tu Dios: porque por tu pecado has caído.
1 Israel, return to Yahweh your God; for you have fallen because of your sin.
2 Λάβετε μεθ' εαυτών λόγους και επιστρέψατε προς τον Κύριον· είπατε προς αυτόν, Αφαίρεσον πάσαν ανομίαν ημών και δέχθητι ημάς ευμενώς, και θέλομεν αποδώσει τον καρπόν των χειλέων ημών·
2 Tomad con vosotros palabras, y convertíos á Jehová, y decidle: Quita toda iniquidad, y acepta el bien, y daremos becerros de nuestros labios.
2 Take words with you, and return to Yahweh. Tell him, “Forgive all our sins, and accept that which is good; so we offer bulls as we vowed of our lips.
3 ο Ασσούρ δεν θέλει μας σώσει· δεν θέλομεν αναβή εφ' ίππους· και δεν θέλομεν ειπεί πλέον προς το έργον των χειρών ημών, Είσθε θεοί ημών· διότι εν σοι θέλει ελεηθή ο ορφανός.
3 No nos librará Assur; no subiremos sobre caballos, ni nunca más diremos á la obra de nuestras manos: Dioses nuestros: porque en ti el huérfano alcanzará misericordia.
3 Assyria can’t save us. We won’t ride on horses; neither will we say any more to the work of our hands, ‘Our gods!’ for in you the fatherless finds mercy.”
4 Θέλω ιατρεύσει την αποστασίαν αυτών, θέλω αγαπήσει αυτούς εγκαρδίως· διότι ο θυμός μου απεστράφη απ' αυτού.
4 Yo medicinaré su rebelión, amarélos de voluntad: porque mi furor se apartó de ellos.
4 “I will heal their waywardness. I will love them freely; for my anger is turned away from them.
5 Θέλω είσθαι ως δρόσος εις τον Ισραήλ· ως κρίνον θέλει ανθήσει και θέλει εκτείνει τας ρίζας αυτού ως δένδρον του Λιβάνου.
5 Yo seré á Israel como rocío; él florecerá como lirio, y extenderá sus raíces como el Líbano.
5 I will be like the dew to Israel. He will blossom like the lily, and send down his roots like Lebanon.
6 Οι κλάδοι αυτού θέλουσιν εξαπλωθή και η δόξα αυτού θέλει είσθαι ως ελαίας και η οσμή αυτού ως του Λιβάνου.
6 Extenderse han sus ramos, y será su gloria como la de la oliva, y olerá como el Líbano.
6 His branches will spread, and his beauty will be like the olive tree, and his fragrance like Lebanon.
7 Θέλουσιν επιστρέψει και καθήσει υπό την σκιάν αυτού· θέλουσιν αναζήσει ως σίτος και ανθήσει ως άμπελος· η μνήμη αυτού θέλει είσθαι ως οίνος Λιβάνου.
7 Volverán, y se sentarán bajo de su sombra: serán vivificados [como] trigo, y florecerán como la vid: su olor, como de vino del Líbano.
7 Men will dwell in his shade. They will revive like the grain, and blossom like the vine. Their fragrance will be like the wine of Lebanon.
8 Ο Εφραΐμ θέλει ειπεί, Τι έχω να κάμω πλέον μετά των ειδώλων; Εγώ ήκουσα και θέλω παραφυλάξει αυτόν· εγώ είμαι εις αυτόν ως ελάτη ευθαλής· απ' εμού ο καρπός σου θέλει προέλθει.
8 Ephraim [dirá]: ¿Qué más tendré ya con los ídolos? Yo lo oiré, y miraré; yo [seré á él] como la haya verde: de mí será hallado tu fruto.
8 Ephraim, what have I to do any more with idols? I answer, and will take care of him. I am like a green cypress tree; from me your fruit is found.”
9 Τις είναι σοφός και θέλει εννοήσει ταύτα, συνετός και θέλει γνωρίσει αυτά; διότι ευθείαι είναι αι οδοί του Κυρίου, και οι δίκαιοι θέλουσι περιπατεί εν αυταίς· οι δε παραβάται θέλουσι πέσει εν αυταίς.
9 ¿Quién es sabio para que entienda esto, y prudente para que lo sepa? Porque los caminos de Jehová son derechos, y los justos andarán por ellos: mas los rebeldes en ellos caerán.
9 Who is wise, that he may understand these things? Who is prudent, that he may know them? For the ways of Yahweh are right, and the righteous walk in them, but the rebellious stumble in them.
