1 Ὁ ΛΟΓΟΣ Ὁ ΓΕΝΟΜΕΝΟΣ ΠΑΡΑ ΚΥΡΙΟΥ ΠΡΟΣ ἹΕΡΕΜΙΑΝ, ὍΤΕ ἈΠΕΣΤΕΙΛΕ ΠΡΟΣ ΑΥΤΟΝ Ὁ ΒΑΣΙΛΕΥΣ ΣΕΔΕΚΙΑΣ ΤΟΝ ΠΑΣΧΩΡ ΥΙΟΝ ΜΕΓΧΙΟΥ, ΚΑΙ ΣΟΦΟΝΙΑΝ ΥΙΟΝ ΒΑΣΑΙΟΥ ΤΟΝ ἹΕΡΕΑ, ΛΕΓΩΝ,
1 PALABRA que fué á Jeremías de Jehová, cuando el rey Sedechîas envió á él á Pashur hijo de Malchîas, y á Sephanías sacerdote, hijo de Maasías, que le dijesen:
1 The word which came to Jeremiah from Yahweh, when King Zedekiah sent to him Pashhur the son of Malchijah, and Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah, the priest, saying,
2 ἐπερώτησον περὶ ἡμῶν τὸν Κύριον· ὅτι βασιλεὺς Βαβυλῶνος ἐφέστηκεν ἐφʼ ἡμᾶς· εἰ ποιήσει Κύριος κατὰ πάντα τὰ θαυμάσια αὐτοῦ, καὶ ἀπελεύσεται ἀφʼ ἡμῶν.
2 Pregunta ahora por nosotros á Jehová; porque Nabucodonosor rey de Babilonia hace guerra contra nosotros: quizá Jehová hará con nosotros según todas sus maravillas, y aquél se irá de sobre nosotros.
2 “Please inquire of Yahweh for us; for Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon makes war against us. Perhaps Yahweh will deal with us according to all his wondrous works, that he may withdraw from us.”
3 Καὶ εἶπε πρὸς αὐτοὺς Ἱερεμίας, οὕτως ἐρεῖτε πρὸς Σεδεκίαν βασιλέα Ἰούδα,
3 Y Jeremías les dijo: Diréis así á Sedechîas:
3 Then Jeremiah said to them, “Tell Zedekiah:
4 τὰδε λέγει Κύριος, ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ μεταστρέφω τὰ ὅπλα τὰ πολεμικὰ, ἐν οἷς ὑμεῖς πολεμεῖτε ἐν αὐτοῖς πρὸς τοὺς Χαλδαίους τοὺς συγκεκλεικότας ὑμᾶς ἔξωθεν τοῦ τείχους· καὶ συνάξω αὐτοὺς εἰς τὸ μέσον τῆς πόλεως ταύτης,
4 Así ha dicho Jehová Dios de Israel: He aquí yo vuelvo las armas de guerra que están en vuestras manos, y con que vosotros peleáis con el rey de Babilonia; y los Caldeos que os tienen cercados fuera de la muralla, yo los juntaré en medio de esta ciudad.
4 ‘Yahweh, the God of Israel says, “Behold, I will turn back the weapons of war that are in your hands, with which you fight against the king of Babylon, and against the Chaldeans who besiege you outside the walls; and I will gather them into the middle of this city.
5 καὶ πολεμήσω ἐγὼ ὑμᾶς ἐν χειρὶ ἐκτεταμένῃ καὶ ἐν βραχίονι κραταιῷ μετὰ θυμοῦ καὶ ὀργῆς μεγάλης.
5 Y pelearé contra vosotros con mano alzada y con brazo fuerte, y con furor, y enojo, é ira grande:
5 I myself will fight against you with an outstretched hand and with a strong arm, even in anger, in wrath, and in great indignation.
6 Καὶ πατάξω πάντας τοὺς κατοικοῦντας ἐν τῇ πόλει ταύτῃ, τοὺς ἀνθρώπους καὶ τὰ κτήνη ἐν θανάτῳ μεγάλῳ, καὶ ἀποθανοῦνται.
6 Y heriré los moradores de esta ciudad; y los hombres y las bestias morirán de pestilencia grande.
6 I will strike the inhabitants of this city, both man and animal. They will die of a great pestilence.
7 Καὶ μετὰ ταῦτα οὕτως λέγει Κύριος, δώσω τὸν Σεδεκίαν βασιλέα Ἰούδα, καὶ τοὺς παῖδας αὐτοῦ, καὶ τὸν λαὸν καταλειφθέντα ἐν τῇ πόλει ταύτῃ ἀπὸ τοῦ θανάτου καὶ ἀπὸ τοῦ λιμοῦ καὶ ἀπὸ τῆς μαχαίρας, εἰς χεῖρας ἐχθρῶν αὐτῶν, τῶν ζητούντων τὰς ψυχὰς αὐτῶν, καὶ κατακόψουσιν αὐτοὺς ἐν στόματι μαχαίρας· οὐ φείσομαι ἐπʼ αὐτοῖς, καὶ οὐ μὴ οἰκτειρήσω αὐτούς.
7 Y después, así dice Jehová, entregaré á Sedechîas rey de Judá, y á sus criados, y al pueblo, y á los que quedaren en la ciudad de la pestilencia, y del cuchillo, y del hambre, en mano de Nabucodonosor rey de Babilonia, y en mano de sus enemigos, y en mano de los que buscan sus almas; y él los herirá á filo de espada; no los perdonará, ni los recibirá á merced, ni tendrá de ellos misericordia.
7 Afterward,” says Yahweh, “I will deliver Zedekiah king of Judah, his servants, and the people, even those who are left in this city from the pestilence, from the sword, and from the famine, into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and into the hand of their enemies, and into the hand of those who seek their life. He will strike them with the edge of the sword. He will not spare them, have pity, or have mercy.”’
8 Καὶ πρὸς τὸν λαὸν τοῦτον ἐρεῖς, τάδε λέγει Κύριος, ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ δέδωκα πρὸ προσώπου ὑμῶν τὴν ὁδὸν τῆς ζωῆς, καὶ τὴν ὁδὸν τοῦ θανάτου.
8 Y á este pueblo dirás: Así ha dicho Jehová: He aquí pongo delante de vosotros camino de vida y camino de muerte.
8 “You shall say to this people, ‘Yahweh says: “Behold, I set before you the way of life and the way of death.
9 Ὁ καθήμενος ἐν τῇ πόλει ταύτῃ, ἀποθανεῖται ἐν μαχαίρᾳ καὶ ἐν λιμῷ· καὶ ὁ ἐκπορευόμενος προσχωρῆσαι πρὸς τοὺς Χαλδαίους τοὺς συγκεκλεικότας ὑμᾶς, ζήσεται, καὶ ἔσται ἡ ψυχὴ αὐτοῦ εἰς σκῦλα, καὶ ζήσεται.
9 El que se quedare en esta ciudad, morirá á cuchillo, ó de hambre, ó pestilencia: mas el que saliere, y se pasare á los Caldeos que os tienen cercados, vivirá, y su vida le será por despojo.
9 He who remains in this city will die by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence, but he who goes out and passes over to the Chaldeans who besiege you, he will live, and he will escape with his life.
10 Διότι ἐστήρικα τὸ πρόσωπόν μου ἐπὶ τὴν πόλιν ταύτην εἰς κακὰ, καὶ οὐκ εἰς ἀγαθά· εἰς χεῖρας βασιλέως Βαβυλῶνος παραδοθήσεται, καὶ κατακαύσει αὐτὴν ἐν πυρί.
10 Porque mi rostro he puesto contra esta ciudad para mal, y no para bien, dice Jehová: en mano del rey de Babilonia será entregada, y quemarála á fuego.
10 For I have set my face on this city for evil, and not for good,” says Yahweh. “It will be given into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he will burn it with fire.”’
11 Ὁ οἶκος βασιλέως Ἰούδα, ἀκούσατε λόγον Κυρίου.
11 Y á la casa del rey de Judá [dirás]: Oid palabra de Jehová.
11 “Concerning the house of the king of Judah, hear Yahweh’s word:
12 Οἶκος Δαυὶδ, τάδε λέγει Κύριος, κρίνατε πρωῒ κρίμα, καὶ κατευθύνατε, καὶ ἐξέλεσθε διηρπασμένον ἐκ χειρὸς ἀδικοῦντος αὐτὸν, ὅπως μὴ ἀναφθῇ ὡς πῦρ ἡ ὀργή μου, καὶ καυθήσεται, καὶ οὐκ ἔσται ὁ σβέσων.
12 Casa de David, así dijo Jehová: Juzgad de mañana juicio, y librad al oprimido de mano del opresor; porque mi ira no salga como fuego, y se encienda, y no [haya] quien apague, por la maldad de vuestras obras.
12 House of David, Yahweh says, ‘Execute justice in the morning, and deliver him who is robbed out of the hand of the oppressor, lest my wrath go out like fire, and burn so that no one can quench it, because of the evil of your doings.
13 Ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ πρὸς σὲ τὸν κατοικοῦντα τὴν κοιλάδα σὸρ, τὴν πεδεινὴν, τοὺς λέγοντας, τίς πτοήσει ἡμᾶς; ἢ τίς εἰσελεύσεται πρὸς τὸ κατοικητήριον ἡμῶν;
13 He aquí yo contra ti, moradora del valle de la piedra de la llanura, dice Jehová: los que decís: ¿Quién subirá contra nosotros? ¿y quién entrará en nuestras moradas?
13 Behold, I am against you, O inhabitant of the valley, and of the rock of the plain,’ says Yahweh. ‘You that say, “Who would come down against us?” or, “Who would enter into our homes?”
14 Καὶ ἀνάψω πῦρ ἐν τῷ δρυμῷ αὐτῆς, καὶ ἔδεται πάντα τὰ κύκλῳ αὐτῆς.
14 Yo os visitaré conforme al fruto de vuestras obras, dice Jehová, y haré encender fuego en su breña, y consumirá todo lo que está alrededor de ella.
14 I will punish you according to the fruit of your doings,’ says Yahweh; ‘and I will kindle a fire in her forest, and it will devour all that is around her.’”
