6 Сы́нъ сла́витъ ѻ҆тца̀, и҆ ра́бъ господи́на своегѡ̀ ᲂу҆бои́тсѧ: и҆ а҆́ще ѻ҆ц҃ъ є҆́смь а҆́зъ, то̀ гдѣ̀ сла́ва моѧ̀; и҆ а҆́ще гдⷭ҇ь є҆́смь а҆́зъ, то̀ гдѣ̀ є҆́сть стра́хъ мо́й; гл҃етъ гдⷭ҇ь вседержи́тель. Вы̀ свѧще́нницы презира́ющїи и҆́мѧ моѐ. И҆ рѣ́сте: ѡ҆ чесо́мъ презрѣ́хомъ и҆́мѧ твоѐ;

  1. Cita 1:10 Irenaeus of Lyons, Against Heresies (Book IV, Chapter XVII)

… the rising of the sun, unto the going down [of the same], My name is glorified among the Gentiles, and in every place incense is offered to My name, and a pure sacrifice; for great is My name among the Gentiles, saith the Lord Omnipotent;" --indicating in the plainest manner, by these words, that the former people [the Jews] shall …

  2. Cita 1:10 Augustine of Hippo, The City of God (Book XVIII, Chapters 33–35)

… even to the going down of the sun, my name is great among the nations; and in every place sacrifice shall be made, and a pure oblation shall be offered unto my name: for my name shall be great among the nations, saith the Lord." Since we can already see this sacrifice offered to God in every place, from the …

  3. Cita 1:10 Cyril of Jerusalem, Catechetical Lectures (Lecture XVIII)

Agreeably to which the prophet also said to the Jews, I have no pleasure in you, saith the Lord Almighty; and immediately afterwards, For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same, My name is glorified among the Gentiles.

  4. Cita 1:6 Basil of Caesarea, On the Holy Spirit (Chapters XVII–XVIII)

"A son," it is said, "honoureth his father, and a servant his master." Of these two the one, the servile, is given by the creature; the other, which may be called the intimate, is fulfilled by the Spirit.

  5. Cita 1:11 John of Damascus, An Exact Exposition of the Orthodox Faith (Book IV, Chapters XII–XIII)
