LSV Literal Standard Version WEB World English Bible (clásica, con deuterocanónicos) 1 And Jehoshaphat king of Judah turns back to his house in peace, to Jerusalem, 1 Y JOSAPHAT rey de Judá se volvió en paz á su casa en Jerusalem.
1 Jehoshaphat the king of Judah returned to his house in peace to Jerusalem.
2 and Jehu son of Hanani the seer goes out to his presence and says to King Jehoshaphat, “Do you love to give help to the wicked and to those hating YHWH? And for this, wrath [is] against you from before YHWH, 2 Y salióle al encuentro Jehú el vidente, hijo de Hanani, y dijo al rey Josaphat: ¿Al impío das ayuda, y amas á los que aborrecen á Jehová? Pues la ira de la presencia de Jehová será sobre ti por ello.
2 Jehu the son of Hanani the seer went out to meet him, and said to King Jehoshaphat, “Should you help the wicked, and love those who hate Yahweh? Because of this, wrath is on you from before Yahweh.
3 but good things have been found with you, for you have put away the Asheroth out of the land, and have prepared your heart to seek God.” 3 Empero se han hallado en ti buenas cosas, porque cortaste de la tierra los bosques, y has apercibido tu corazón á buscar á Dios.
3 Nevertheless there are good things found in you, in that you have put away the Asheroth out of the land, and have set your heart to seek God.”
4 And Jehoshaphat dwells in Jerusalem, and he turns back and goes out among the people from Beer-Sheba to the hill-country of Ephraim, and brings them back to YHWH, God of their fathers. 4 Habitó pues Josaphat en Jerusalem; mas daba vuelta y salía al pueblo, desde Beer-seba hasta el monte de Ephraim, y reducíalos á Jehová el Dios de sus padres.
4 Jehoshaphat lived at Jerusalem; and he went out again among the people from Beersheba to the hill country of Ephraim, and brought them back to Yahweh, the God of their fathers.
5 And he establishes judges in the land, in all the fortified cities of Judah, for every city, 5 Y puso en la tierra jueces en todas las ciudades fuertes de Judá, por todos los lugares.
5 He set judges in the land throughout all the fortified cities of Judah, city by city,
6 and says to the ones judging, “See what you are doing—for you do not judge for man, but for YHWH, who [is] with you in the matter of judgment; 6 Y dijo á los jueces: Mirad lo que hacéis: porque no juzgáis en lugar de hombre, sino en lugar de Jehová, el cual [está] con vosotros en el negocio del juicio.
6 and said to the judges, “Consider what you do, for you don’t judge for man, but for Yahweh; and he is with you in the judgment.
7 and now, let fear of YHWH be on you, observe and do, for there is not perverseness with our God YHWH, and favoring by appearance, and taking of a bribe.” 7 Sea pues con vosotros el temor de Jehová; guardad y haced: porque en Jehová nuestro Dios no hay iniquidad, ni acepción de personas, ni recibir cohecho.
7 Now therefore let the fear of Yahweh be on you. Take heed and do it; for there is no iniquity with Yahweh our God, nor respect of persons, nor taking of bribes.”
8 And also in Jerusalem, Jehoshaphat has appointed of the Levites, and of the priests, and of the heads of the fathers of Israel, for the judgment of YHWH, and for strife; and they return to Jerusalem, 8 Y puso también Josaphat en Jerusalem [algunos] de los Levitas y sacerdotes, y de los padres de familias de Israel, para el juicio de Jehová y para las causas. Y volviéronse á Jerusalem.
8 Moreover in Jerusalem Jehoshaphat appointed certain Levites, priests, and heads of the fathers’ households of Israel to give judgment for Yahweh and for controversies. They returned to Jerusalem.
9 and he lays a charge on them, saying, “Thus do you do in the fear of YHWH, in faithfulness, and with a perfect heart, 9 Y mandóles, diciendo: Procederéis asimismo con temor de Jehová, con verdad, y con corazón íntegro.
9 He commanded them, saying, “You shall do this in the fear of Yahweh, faithfully, and with a perfect heart.
10 and any strife that comes to you of your brothers who are dwelling in their cities, between blood and blood, between law and command, statutes, and judgments, then you have warned them and they do not become guilty before YHWH, and wrath has not been on you and on your brothers; thus do you do, and you are not guilty.
10 Whenever any controversy comes to you from your brothers who dwell in their cities, between blood and blood, between law and commandment, statutes and ordinances, you must warn them, that they not be guilty toward Yahweh, and so wrath come on you and on your brothers. Do this, and you will not be guilty.
11 And behold, Amariah the head priest [is] over you for every matter of YHWH, and Zebadiah son of Ishmael, the leader of the house of Judah, [is] for every matter of the king, and the Levites [are] officers before you; be strong and do, and YHWH is with the good.” 11 Y he aquí Amarías sacerdote será el que os presida en todo negocio de Jehová; y Zebadías hijo de Ismael, príncipe de la casa de Judá, en todos los negocios del rey; también los Levitas serán oficiales en presencia de vosotros. Esforzaos pues, y obrad; que Jehová será con el bueno.
11 Behold, Amariah the chief priest is over you in all matters of Yahweh; and Zebadiah the son of Ishmael, the ruler of the house of Judah, in all the king’s matters. Also the Levites shall be officers before you. Deal courageously, and may Yahweh be with the good.”
