1 And there is a word of YHWH to me, saying,
1 Y FUÉ á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:
1 Yahweh’s word came again to me, saying,
2 “Son of man, say to the leader of Tyre, Thus said Lord YHWH: Because your heart has been high, || And you say: I [am] a god, || I have inhabited the habitation of God, || In the heart of the seas, || And you [are] man, and not God, || And you give out your heart as the heart of God,
2 Hijo del hombre, di al príncipe de Tiro: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Por cuanto se enalteció tu corazón, y dijiste: Yo soy un dios; en la silla de Dios estoy sentado en medio de los mares (siendo tú hombre y no Dios); y has puesto tu corazón como corazón de Dios:
2 “Son of man, tell the prince of Tyre, ‘The Lord Yahweh says: “Because your heart is lifted up, and you have said, ‘I am a god, I sit in the seat of God, in the middle of the seas;’ yet you are man, and no god, though you set your heart as the heart of a god—
3 Behold, you [are] wiser than Daniel, || No hidden thing have they concealed from you.
3 He aquí que tú eres más sabio que Daniel; no hay secreto que te sea oculto;
3 behold, you are wiser than Daniel. There is no secret that is hidden from you.
4 By your wisdom and by your understanding || You have made wealth for yourself, || And make gold and silver in your treasuries.
4 Con tu sabiduría y con tu prudencia te has juntado riquezas, y has adquirido oro y plata en tus tesoros;
4 By your wisdom and by your understanding you have gotten yourself riches, and have gotten gold and silver into your treasuries.
5 By the abundance of your wisdom, || Through your merchandise, || You have multiplied your wealth, || And your heart is high through your wealth.
5 Con la grandeza de tu sabiduría en tu contratación has multiplicado tus riquezas; y á causa de tus riquezas se ha enaltecido tu corazón.
5 By your great wisdom and by your trading you have increased your riches, and your heart is lifted up because of your riches—”
6 Therefore, thus said Lord YHWH: Because of your giving out your heart as the heart of God,
6 Por tanto, así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Por cuanto pusiste tu corazón como corazón de Dios,
6 “‘therefore the Lord Yahweh says: “Because you have set your heart as the heart of God,
7 Therefore, behold, I am bringing in strangers against you, || The terrible of the nations, || And they have drawn out their swords || Against the beauty of your wisdom, || And they have pierced your brightness.
7 Por tanto, he aquí yo traigo sobre ti extraños, los fuertes de las gentes, que desenvainarán su espadas contra la hermosura de tu sabiduría, y ensuciarán tu esplendor.
7 therefore, behold, I will bring strangers on you, the terrible of the nations. They will draw their swords against the beauty of your wisdom. They will defile your brightness.
8 They bring you down to destruction, || You die by the deaths of the wounded, in the heart of the seas.
8 A la huesa te harán descender, y morirás de las muertes de los que mueren en medio de los mares.
8 They will bring you down to the pit. You will die the death of those who are slain in the heart of the seas.
9 Do you really say, I [am] God, || Before him who is slaying you? And you [are] man, and not God, || In the hand of him who is piercing you.
9 ¿Hablarás delante de tu matador, diciendo: Yo soy Dios? Tú, hombre eres, y no Dios, en la mano de tu matador.
9 Will you yet say before him who kills you, ‘I am God’? But you are man, and not God, in the hand of him who wounds you.
10 You die the deaths of the uncircumcised, || By the hand of strangers, for I have spoken,” || A declaration of Lord YHWH.
10 De muerte de incircuncisos morirás por mano de extraños: porque yo he hablado, dice el Señor Jehová.
10 You will die the death of the uncircumcised by the hand of strangers; for I have spoken it,” says the Lord Yahweh.’”
11 And there is a word of YHWH to me, saying,
11 Y fué á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:
11 Moreover Yahweh’s word came to me, saying,
12 “Son of man, lift up a lamentation for the king of Tyre, || And you have said to him, Thus said Lord YHWH: You are sealing up a measurement, || Full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.
12 Hijo del hombre, levanta endechas sobre el rey de Tiro, y dile: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Tú echas el sello á la proporción, lleno de sabiduría, y acabado de hermosura.
12 “Son of man, take up a lamentation over the king of Tyre, and tell him, ‘The Lord Yahweh says: “You were the seal of full measure, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.
13 You have been in Eden, the garden of God, || Every precious stone [was] your covering, || Ruby, topaz, and diamond, beryl, onyx, and jasper, || Sapphire, emerald, and carbuncle, and gold, || The workmanship of your tambourines and of your pipes, || In you in the day of your being produced, have been created;
13 En Edén, en el huerto de Dios estuviste: toda piedra preciosa fué tu vestidura; el sardio, topacio, diamante, crisólito, onique, y berilo, el zafiro, carbunclo, y esmeralda, y oro, los primores de tus tamboriles y pífanos estuvieron apercibidos para ti en el día de tu creación.
13 You were in Eden, the garden of God. Every precious stone adorned you: ruby, topaz, emerald, chrysolite, onyx, jasper, sapphire, turquoise, and beryl. Gold work of tambourines and of pipes was in you. They were prepared in the day that you were created.
14 And I established you as the anointed, covering cherub, || You have been in [the] holy mountain of God, || You have walked up and down in [the] midst of [the] stones of fire.
14 Tú, querubín grande, cubridor: y yo te puse; en el santo monte de Dios estuviste; en medio de piedras de fuego has andado.
14 You were the anointed cherub who covers. Then I set you up on the holy mountain of God. You have walked up and down in the middle of the stones of fire.
15 You [were] perfect in your ways, || From [the] day of your being created, || Until perversity was found in you.
15 Perfecto eras en todos tus caminos desde el día que fuiste criado, hasta que se halló en ti maldad.
15 You were perfect in your ways from the day that you were created, until unrighteousness was found in you.
16 By [the] abundance of your merchandise || They have filled your midst with violence, || And you sin, || And I thrust you from [the] mountain of God, || And I destroy you, O covering cherub, || From [the] midst of [the] stones of fire.
16 A causa de la multitud de tu contratación fuiste lleno de iniquidad, y pecaste: por lo que yo te eché del monte de Dios, y te arrojé de entre las piedras del fuego, oh querubín cubridor.
16 By the abundance of your commerce, your insides were filled with violence, and you have sinned. Therefore I have cast you as profane out of God’s mountain. I have destroyed you, covering cherub, from the middle of the stones of fire.
17 Your heart has been high because of your beauty, || You have corrupted your wisdom because of your brightness, || I have cast you to earth, || I have set you before kings, to look on you,
17 Enaltecióse tu corazón á causa de tu hermosura, corrompiste tu sabiduría á causa de tu resplandor: yo te arrojaré por tierra; delante de los reyes te pondré para que miren en ti.
17 Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty. You have corrupted your wisdom by reason of your splendor. I have cast you to the ground. I have laid you before kings, that they may see you.
18 From [the] abundance of your iniquity, || By [the] perversity of your merchandise, || You have defiled your sanctuaries, || And I bring forth fire from your midst, || It has devoured you, || And I make you become ashes on the earth, || In [the] eyes of all beholding you.
18 Con la multitud de tus maldades, y con la iniquidad de tu contratación ensuciaste tu santuario: yo pues saqué fuego de en medio de ti, el cual te consumió, y púsete en ceniza sobre la tierra á los ojos de todos los que te miran.
18 By the multitude of your iniquities, in the unrighteousness of your commerce, you have profaned your sanctuaries. Therefore I have brought out a fire from the middle of you. It has devoured you. I have turned you to ashes on the earth in the sight of all those who see you.
19 All knowing you among the peoples || Have been astonished at you, || You have been terrors, and you are not—for all time.”
19 Todos los que te conocieron de entre los pueblos, se maravillarán sobre ti: en espanto serás, y para siempre dejarás de ser.
19 All those who know you among the peoples will be astonished at you. You have become a terror, and you will exist no more.”’”
20 And there is a word of YHWH to me, saying,
20 Y fué á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:
20 Yahweh’s word came to me, saying,
21 “Son of man, set your face toward Sidon, and prophesy concerning it;
21 Hijo del hombre, pon tu rostro hacia Sidón, y profetiza contra ella;
21 “Son of man, set your face toward Sidon, and prophesy against it,
22 and you have said, Thus said Lord YHWH: Behold, I [am] against you, O Sidon, || And I have been honored in your midst, || And they have known that I [am] YHWH, || In My doing judgments in her, || And I have been sanctified in her.
22 Y dirás: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: He aquí yo contra ti, oh Sidón, y en medio de ti seré glorificado: y sabrán que yo soy Jehová, cuando hiciere en ella juicios, y en ella me santificare.
22 and say, ‘The Lord Yahweh says: “Behold, I am against you, Sidon. I will be glorified among you. Then they will know that I am Yahweh, when I have executed judgments in her, and am sanctified in her.
23 And I have sent pestilence into her, || And blood into her out-places, || The wounded has been judged in her midst, || By the sword on her all around, || And they have known that I [am] YHWH.
23 Y enviaré á ella pestilencia y sangre en sus plazas; y caerán muertos en medio de ella, con espada contra ella alrededor; y sabrán que yo soy Jehová.
23 For I will send pestilence into her, and blood into her streets. The wounded will fall within her, with the sword on her on every side. Then they will know that I am Yahweh.
24 And there is no more pricking brier and paining thorn || For the house of Israel, || Of all around them—despising them, || And they have known that I [am] Lord YHWH.
24 Y nunca más será á la casa de Israel espino que le punce, ni espanto que le dé dolor, en todos los alrededores de los que los menosprecian; y sabrán que yo soy Jehová.
24 “‘“There will no longer be a pricking brier to the house of Israel, nor a hurting thorn of any that are around them that scorned them. Then they will know that I am the Lord Yahweh.”
25 Thus said Lord YHWH: In My gathering the house of Israel, || Out of the peoples among whom they were scattered, || I have been sanctified in them, || Before the eyes of the nations, || And they have dwelt on their ground, || That I gave to My servant, to Jacob,
25 Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Cuando juntaré la casa de Israel de los pueblos entre los cuales están esparcidos, entonces me santificaré en ellos á los ojos de las gentes, y habitarán en su tierra, la cual dí á mi siervo Jacob.
25 “‘The Lord Yahweh says: “When I have gathered the house of Israel from the peoples among whom they are scattered, and am shown as holy among them in the sight of the nations, then they will dwell in their own land which I gave to my servant Jacob.
26 And they have dwelt confidently on it, || And built houses, and planted vineyards, || And dwelt confidently—in My doing judgments, || On all those despising them all around, || And they have known that I [am] their God YHWH!”
26 Y habitarán en ella seguros, y edificarán casas, y plantarán viñas, y habitarán confiadamente, cuando yo haré juicios en todos los que los despojan en sus alrededores; y sabrán que yo soy Jehová su Dios.
26 They will dwell in it securely. Yes, they will build houses, plant vineyards, and will dwell securely when I have executed judgments on all those around them who have treated them with contempt. Then they will know that I am Yahweh their God.”’”
