LSV Literal Standard Version WEB World English Bible (clásica, con deuterocanónicos) 1 At that time, Merodach-Baladan, son of Baladan, king of Babylon, has sent letters and a present to Hezekiah when he hears that he has been sick and has become strong.
1 At that time, Merodach-baladan the son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent letters and a present to Hezekiah, for he heard that he had been sick, and had recovered.
2 And Hezekiah rejoices over them, and shows them the house of his spices, the silver, and the gold, and the spices, and the good ointment, and all the house of his vessels, and all that has been found in his treasures; there has not been a thing in his house, and in all his dominion, that Hezekiah has not showed them.
2 Hezekiah was pleased with them, and showed them the house of his precious things, the silver, the gold, the spices, and the precious oil, and all the house of his armor, and all that was found in his treasures. There was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion, that Hezekiah didn’t show them.
3 And Isaiah the prophet comes to King Hezekiah and says to him, “What did these men say? And from where do they come to you?” And Hezekiah says, “They have come to me from a far-off land—from Babylon.” 3 Entonces Isaías profeta vino al rey Ezechîas, y díjole: ¿Qué dicen estos hombres, y de dónde han venido á ti?
3 Then Isaiah the prophet came to King Hezekiah, and asked him, “What did these men say? From where did they come to you?” Hezekiah said, “They have come from a country far from me, even from Babylon.”
4 And he says, “What did they see in your house?” And Hezekiah says, “They saw all that [is] in my house; there has not been a thing that I have not showed them among my treasures.” 4 Dijo entonces: ¿Qué han visto en tu casa?
4 Then he asked, “What have they seen in your house?” Hezekiah answered, “They have seen all that is in my house. There is nothing among my treasures that I have not shown them.”
5 And Isaiah says to Hezekiah, “Hear a word of YHWH of Hosts: 5 Entonces dijo Isaías á Ezechîas: Oye palabra de Jehová de los ejércitos:
5 Then Isaiah said to Hezekiah, “Hear the word of Yahweh of Armies:
6 Behold, days are coming, and all that [is] in your house, and that your fathers have treasured up until this day, has been carried to Babylon; there is not a thing left, said YHWH; 6 He aquí, vienen días en que será llevado á Babilonia todo lo que hay en tu casa, y lo que tus padres han atesorado hasta hoy: ninguna cosa quedará, dice Jehová.
6 ‘Behold, the days are coming when all that is in your house, and that which your fathers have stored up until today, will be carried to Babylon. Nothing will be left,’ says Yahweh.
7 and of your sons who come forth from you, whom you beget, they take, and they have been eunuchs in a palace of the king of Babylon.” 7 De tus hijos que hubieren salido de ti, y que engendraste, tomarán, y serán eunucos en el palacio del rey de Babilonia.
7 ‘They will take away your sons who will issue from you, whom you shall father, and they will be eunuchs in the king of Babylon’s palace.’”
8 And Hezekiah says to Isaiah, “The word of YHWH that you have spoken [is] good”; and he says, “Because there is peace and truth in my days.” 8 Y dijo Ezechîas á Isaías: La palabra de Jehová que has hablado, es buena.
8 Then Hezekiah said to Isaiah, “Yahweh’s word which you have spoken is good.” He said moreover, “For there will be peace and truth in my days.”
