LSV Literal Standard Version WEB World English Bible (clásica, con deuterocanónicos) 1 And much livestock has [belonged] to the sons of Reuben and to the sons of Gad—very many; and they see the land of Jazer and the land of Gilead, and behold, the place [is] a place [for] livestock; 1 Y LOS hijos de Rubén y los hijos de Gad tenían una muy grande muchedumbre de ganado; los cuales viendo la tierra de Jazer y de Galaad, parecióles el país lugar de ganado.
1 Now the children of Reuben and the children of Gad had a very great multitude of livestock. They saw the land of Jazer, and the land of Gilead. Behold, the place was a place for livestock.
2 and the sons of Gad and the sons of Reuben come in and speak to Moses, and to Eleazar the priest, and to the princes of the congregation, saying, 2 Y vinieron los hijos de Gad y los hijos de Rubén, y hablaron á Moisés, y á Eleazar el sacerdote, y á los príncipes de la congregación, diciendo:
2 Then the children of Gad and the children of Reuben came and spoke to Moses, and to Eleazar the priest, and to the princes of the congregation, saying,
3 “Ataroth, and Dibon, and Jazer, and Nimrah, and Heshbon, and Elealeh, and Shebam, and Nebo, and Beon, 3 Ataroth, y Dibón, y Jazer, y Nimra, y Hesbón, y Eleale, y Sabán, y Nebo, y Beón,
3 “Ataroth, Dibon, Jazer, Nimrah, Heshbon, Elealeh, Sebam, Nebo, and Beon,
4 the land which YHWH has struck before the congregation of Israel, is a land for livestock, and your servants have livestock.” 4 La tierra que Jehová hirió delante de la congregación de Israel, es tierra de ganado, y tus siervos tienen ganado.
4 the land which Yahweh struck before the congregation of Israel, is a land for livestock; and your servants have livestock.”
5 And they say, “If we have found grace in your eyes, let this land be given to your servants for a possession; cause us not to pass over the Jordan.” 5 Por tanto, dijeron, si hallamos gracia en tus ojos, dése esta tierra á tus siervos en heredad, y no nos hagas pasar el Jordán.
5 They said, “If we have found favor in your sight, let this land be given to your servants for a possession. Don’t bring us over the Jordan.”
6 And Moses says to the sons of Gad and to the sons of Reuben, “Do your brothers go to the battle, and you—do you sit here? 6 Y respondió Moisés á los hijos de Gad y á los hijos de Rubén: ¿Vendrán vuestros hermanos á la guerra, y vosotros os quedaréis aquí?
6 Moses said to the children of Gad, and to the children of Reuben, “Shall your brothers go to war while you sit here?
7 And why discourage the heart of the sons of Israel from passing over to the land which YHWH has given to them? 7 ¿Y por qué prevenís el ánimo de los hijos de Israel, para que no pasen á la tierra que les ha dado Jehová?
7 Why do you discourage the heart of the children of Israel from going over into the land which Yahweh has given them?
8 Thus your fathers did in my sending them from Kadesh-Barnea to see the land; 8 Así hicieron vuestros padres, cuando los envié desde Cades-barnea para que viesen la tierra.
8 Your fathers did so when I sent them from Kadesh Barnea to see the land.
9 and they go up to the Valley of Eshcol, and see the land, and discourage the heart of the sons of Israel so as not to go into the land which YHWH has given to them; 9 Que subieron hasta la arroyada de Escol, y después que vieron la tierra, preocuparon el ánimo de los hijos de Israel, para que no viniesen á la tierra que Jehová les había dado.
9 For when they went up to the valley of Eshcol, and saw the land, they discouraged the heart of the children of Israel, that they should not go into the land which Yahweh had given them.
10 and the anger of YHWH burns in that day, and He swears, saying, 10 Y el furor de Jehová se encendió entonces, y juró diciendo:
10 Yahweh’s anger burned in that day, and he swore, saying,
11 They do not see—the men who are coming up out of Egypt from a son of twenty years and upward—the ground which I have sworn to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, for they have not been fully after Me, 11 Que no verán los varones que subieron de Egipto de veinte años arriba, la tierra por la cual juré á Abraham, Isaac, y Jacob, por cuanto no fueron perfectos en pos de mí;
11 ‘Surely none of the men who came up out of Egypt, from twenty years old and upward, shall see the land which I swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; because they have not wholly followed me,
12 except Caleb son of Jephunneh the Kenezite and Joshua son of Nun, for they have been fully after YHWH; 12 Excepto Caleb, hijo de Jephone Cenezeo, y Josué hijo de Nun, que fueron perfectos en pos de Jehová.
12 except Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite, and Joshua the son of Nun, because they have followed Yahweh completely.’
13 and the anger of YHWH burns against Israel, and He causes them to wander in the wilderness [for] forty years, until the consumption of all the generation which is doing evil in the eyes of YHWH. 13 Y el furor de Jehová se encendió en Israel, é hízolos andar errantes cuarenta años por el desierto, hasta que fué acabada toda aquella generación, que había hecho mal delante de Jehová.
13 Yahweh’s anger burned against Israel, and he made them wander back and forth in the wilderness forty years, until all the generation who had done evil in Yahweh’s sight was consumed.
14 And behold, you have risen in the stead of your fathers, an increase of sinful men, to add yet to the fury of the anger of YHWH toward Israel; 14 Y he aquí vosotros habéis sucedido en lugar de vuestros padres, prole de hombres pecadores, para añadir aún á la ira de Jehová contra Israel.
14 “Behold, you have risen up in your fathers’ place, an increase of sinful men, to increase the fierce anger of Yahweh toward Israel.
15 when you turn back from after Him, then He has added yet to leave him in the wilderness, and you have done corruptly to all this people.” 15 Si os volviereis de en pos de él, él volverá otra vez á dejaros en el desierto, y destruiréis á todo este pueblo.
15 For if you turn away from after him, he will yet again leave them in the wilderness; and you will destroy all these people.”
16 And they come near to him and say, “We build folds for the flock here for our livestock, and cities for our infants; 16 Entonces ellos se llegaron á él y dijeron: Edificaremos aquí majadas para nuestro ganado, y ciudades para nuestros niños;
16 They came near to him, and said, “We will build sheepfolds here for our livestock, and cities for our little ones;
17 but we are armed, hastening before the sons of Israel until we have brought them to their place; and our infants have dwelt in the cities of defense because of the inhabitants of the land; 17 Y nosotros nos armaremos, é iremos con diligencia delante de los hijos de Israel, hasta que los metamos en su lugar: y nuestros niños quedarán en ciudades fuertes á causa de los moradores del país.
17 but we ourselves will be ready armed to go before the children of Israel, until we have brought them to their place. Our little ones shall dwell in the fortified cities because of the inhabitants of the land.
18 we do not return to our houses until the sons of Israel have each inherited his inheritance, 18 No volveremos á nuestras casas hasta que los hijos de Israel posean cada uno su heredad.
18 We will not return to our houses until the children of Israel have all received their inheritance.
19 for we do not inherit with them across the Jordan and beyond, for our inheritance has come to us beyond the Jordan at the [sun]-rising.” 19 Porque no tomaremos heredad con ellos al otro lado del Jordán ni adelante, por cuanto tendremos ya nuestra heredad de estotra parte del Jordán al oriente.
19 For we will not inherit with them on the other side of the Jordan and beyond, because our inheritance has come to us on this side of the Jordan eastward.”
20 And Moses says to them, “If you do this thing, if you are armed before YHWH for battle, 20 Entonces les respondió Moisés: Si lo hiciereis así, si os apercibiereis para ir delante de Jehová á la guerra,
20 Moses said to them: “If you will do this thing, if you will arm yourselves to go before Yahweh to the war,
21 and every armed one of you has passed over the Jordan before YHWH, until His dispossessing His enemies from before Him, 21 Y pasareis todos vosotros armados el Jordán delante de Jehová, hasta que haya echado á sus enemigos de delante de sí,
21 and every one of your armed men will pass over the Jordan before Yahweh until he has driven out his enemies from before him,
22 and the land has been subdued before YHWH, then afterward you return, and have been acquitted by YHWH and by Israel, and this land has been to you for a possession before YHWH. 22 Y sea el país sojuzgado delante de Jehová; luego volveréis, y seréis libres de culpa para con Jehová, y para con Israel; y esta tierra será vuestra en heredad delante de Jehová.
22 and the land is subdued before Yahweh; then afterward you shall return, and be clear of obligation to Yahweh and to Israel. Then this land shall be your possession before Yahweh.
23 And if you do not do so, behold, you have sinned against YHWH, and know that your sin finds you; 23 Mas si así no lo hiciereis, he aquí habréis pecado á Jehová; y sabed que os alcanzará vuestro pecado.
23 “But if you will not do so, behold, you have sinned against Yahweh; and be sure your sin will find you out.
24 build for yourselves cities for your infants and folds for your flock, and that which is going out from your mouth you do.” 24 Edificaos ciudades para vuestros niños, y majadas para vuestras ovejas, y haced lo que ha salido de vuestra boca.
24 Build cities for your little ones, and folds for your sheep; and do that which has proceeded out of your mouth.”
25 And the sons of Gad and the sons of Reuben speak to Moses, saying, “Your servants do as my lord is commanding; 25 Y hablaron los hijos de Gad y los hijos de Rubén á Moisés, diciendo: Tus siervos harán como mi señor ha mandado.
25 The children of Gad and the children of Reuben spoke to Moses, saying, “Your servants will do as my lord commands.
26 our infants, our wives, our livestock, and all our beasts, are there in cities of Gilead, 26 Nuestros niños, nuestras mujeres, nuestros ganados, y todas nuestras bestias, estarán ahí en las ciudades de Galaad;
26 Our little ones, our wives, our flocks, and all our livestock shall be there in the cities of Gilead;
27 and your servants pass over, every armed one of the host, before YHWH, to battle, as my lord is saying.” 27 Y tus siervos, armados todos de guerra, pasarán delante de Jehová á la guerra, de la manera que mi señor dice.
27 but your servants will pass over, every man who is armed for war, before Yahweh to battle, as my lord says.”
28 And Moses commands Eleazar the priest, and Joshua son of Nun, and the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the sons of Israel concerning them; 28 Entonces los encomendó Moisés á Eleazar el sacerdote, y á Josué hijo de Nun, y á los príncipes de los padres de las tribus de los hijos de Israel.
28 So Moses commanded concerning them to Eleazar the priest, and to Joshua the son of Nun, and to the heads of the fathers’ households of the tribes of the children of Israel.
29 and Moses says to them, “If the sons of Gad and the sons of Reuben pass over the Jordan with you, everyone armed for battle, before YHWH, and the land has been subdued before you, then you have given the land of Gilead to them for a possession; 29 Y díjoles Moisés: Si los hijos de Gad y los hijos de Rubén, pasaren con vosotros el Jordán, armados todos de guerra delante de Jehová, luego que el país fuere sojuzgado delante de vosotros, les daréis la tierra de Galaad en posesión:
29 Moses said to them, “If the children of Gad and the children of Reuben will pass with you over the Jordan, every man who is armed to battle before Yahweh, and the land is subdued before you, then you shall give them the land of Gilead for a possession;
30 and if they do not pass over armed with you, then they have possessions in your midst in the land of Canaan.” 30 Mas si no pasaren armados con vosotros, entonces tendrán posesión entre vosotros en la tierra de Canaán.
30 but if they will not pass over with you armed, they shall have possessions among you in the land of Canaan.”
31 And the sons of Gad and the sons of Reuben answer, saying, “That which YHWH has spoken to your servants, so we do; 31 Y los hijos de Gad y los hijos de Rubén respondieron, diciendo: Haremos lo que Jehová ha dicho á tus siervos.
31 The children of Gad and the children of Reuben answered, saying, “As Yahweh has said to your servants, so will we do.
32 we pass over armed before YHWH [to] the land of Canaan, and with us [is] the possession of our inheritance beyond the Jordan.” 32 Nosotros pasaremos armados delante de Jehová á la tierra de Canaán, y la posesión de nuestra heredad será de esta parte del Jordán.
32 We will pass over armed before Yahweh into the land of Canaan, and the possession of our inheritance shall remain with us beyond the Jordan.”
33 And Moses gives to them—to the sons of Gad, and to the sons of Reuben, and to the half of the tribe of Manasseh son of Joseph—the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorite and the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, the land by its cities, in the borders, the cities of the surrounding land.
33 Moses gave to them, even to the children of Gad, and to the children of Reuben, and to the half-tribe of Manasseh the son of Joseph, the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites, and the kingdom of Og king of Bashan; the land, according to its cities and borders, even the cities of the surrounding land.
34 And the sons of Gad build Dihon, and Ataroth, and Aroer, 34 Y los hijos de Gad edificaron á Dibón, y á Ataroth, y á Aroer,
34 The children of Gad built Dibon, Ataroth, Aroer,
35 and Atroth, Shophan, and Jaazer, and Jogbehah, 35 Y á Atroth-sophan, y á Jazer, y á Jogbaa,
35 Atroth-shophan, Jazer, Jogbehah,
36 and Beth-Nimrah, and Beth-Haran, cities of defense, and sheepfolds. 36 Y á Beth-nimra, y á Betharán: ciudades fuertes, y también majadas para ovejas.
36 Beth Nimrah, and Beth Haran: fortified cities and folds for sheep.
37 And the sons of Reuben have built Heshbon, and Elealeh, and Kirjathaim, 37 Y los hijos de Rubén edificaron á Hesbón, y á Eleale, y á Kiriathaim,
37 The children of Reuben built Heshbon, Elealeh, Kiriathaim,
38 and Nebo, and Ba‘al-Meon (changed in name), and Shibmah, and they call the names of the cities which they have built by [these] names. 38 Y á Nebo, y á Baal-meón, (mudados los nombres), y á Sibma: y pusieron nombres á las ciudades que edificaron.
38 Nebo, and Baal Meon, (their names being changed), and Sibmah. They gave other names to the cities which they built.
39 And sons of Machir son of Manasseh go to Gilead, and capture it, and dispossess the Amorite who [is] in it; 39 Y los hijos de Machîr hijo de Manasés fueron á Galaad, y tomáronla, y echaron al Amorrheo que estaba en ella.
39 The children of Machir the son of Manasseh went to Gilead, took it, and dispossessed the Amorites who were therein.
40 and Moses gives Gilead to Machir son of Manasseh, and he dwells in it. 40 Y Moisés dió Galaad á Machîr hijo de Manasés, el cual habitó en ella.
40 Moses gave Gilead to Machir the son of Manasseh; and he lived therein.
41 And Jair son of Manasseh has gone and captures their towns, and calls them “Towns of Jair”; 41 También Jair hijo de Manasés fué y tomó sus aldeas, y púsoles por nombre Havoth-jair.
41 Jair the son of Manasseh went and took its villages, and called them Havvoth Jair.
42 and Nobah has gone and captures Kenath and its villages, and calls it Nobah, by his own name. 42 Asimismo Noba fué y tomó á Kenath y sus aldeas, y llamóle Noba, conforme á su nombre.
42 Nobah went and took Kenath and its villages, and called it Nobah, after his own name.
