1 I sabraše se svi Izrailjci k Davidu u Hevron, i rekoše: Evo, mi smo kost tvoja i telo tvoje.

1 ENTONCES todo Israel se juntó á David en Hebrón, diciendo: He aquí nosotros somos tu hueso y tu carne.

1 Then all Israel gathered themselves to David to Hebron, saying, “Behold, we are your bone and your flesh.

2 I pre, dok Saul beše car ti si odvodio i dovodio Izrailja; i Gospod Bog tvoj rekao ti je: Ti ćeš pasti narod moj Izrailja; i ti ćeš biti vođ narodu mom Izrailju.

2 Y además antes de ahora, aun mientras Saúl reinaba, tú sacabas y metías á Israel. También Jehová tu Dios te ha dicho: Tú apacentarás mi pueblo Israel, y tú serás príncipe sobre Israel mi pueblo.

2 In times past, even when Saul was king, it was you who led out and brought in Israel. Yahweh your God said to you, ‘You shall be shepherd of my people Israel, and you shall be prince over my people Israel.’”

3 Tako dođoše sve starešine Izrailjeve k caru u Hevron, i učini s njima David veru u Hevronu pred Gospodom, i pomazaše Davida za cara nad Izrailjem kao što beše rekao Gospod preko Samuila.

3 Y vinieron todos los ancianos de Israel al rey en Hebrón, y David hizo con ellos alianza delante de Jehová; y ungieron á David por rey sobre Israel, conforme á la palabra de Jehová por mano de Samuel.

3 So all the elders of Israel came to the king to Hebron; and David made a covenant with them in Hebron before Yahweh. They anointed David king over Israel, according to Yahweh’s word by Samuel.

4 Potom otide David sa svim Izrailjem na Jerusalim, a to je Jevus, jer onde behu Jevuseji, koji življahu u onoj zemlji.

4 Entonces se fué David con todo Israel á Jerusalem, la cual es Jebus; y allí era el Jebuseo habitador de aquella tierra.

4 David and all Israel went to Jerusalem (also called Jebus); and the Jebusites, the inhabitants of the land, were there.

5 I rekoše Jevušani Davidu: Nećeš ući ovamo. Ali David uze kulu Sion, to je grad Davidov.

5 Y los moradores de Jebus dijeron á David: No entrarás acá. Mas David tomó la fortaleza de Sión, que es la ciudad de David.

5 The inhabitants of Jebus said to David, “You will not come in here!” Nevertheless David took the stronghold of Zion. The same is David’s city.

6 Jer David reče: Ko prvi nadbije Jevuseje, biće knez i vojvoda. I Joav, sin Serujin iziđe prvi, i posta knez.

6 Y David había dicho: El que primero hiriere al Jebuseo, será cabeza y jefe. Entonces Joab hijo de Sarvia subió el primero, y fué hecho jefe.

6 David had said, “Whoever strikes the Jebusites first shall be chief and captain.” Joab the son of Zeruiah went up first, and was made chief.

7 Posle seđaše David u tom gradu, zato ga prozvaše grad Davidov.

7 Y David habitó en la fortaleza, y por esto le llamaron la ciudad de David.

7 David lived in the stronghold; therefore they called it David’s city.

8 I sazida grad unaokolo, od Milona unaokolo; a Joav opravi ostatak grada.

8 Y edificó la ciudad alrededor, desde Millo hasta la cerca: y Joab reparó el resto de la ciudad.

8 He built the city all around, from Millo even around; and Joab repaired the rest of the city.

9 I David jednako napredovaše i siljaše se, jer Gospod nad vojskama beše s njim.

9 Y David iba adelantando y creciendo, y Jehová de los ejércitos era con él.

9 David grew greater and greater, for Yahweh of Armies was with him.

10 A ovo su poglavice među junacima Davidovim, koji junački radiše uza nj za carstvo njegovo sa svim Izrailjem da bude car nad Izrailjem po reči Gospodnjoj;

10 Estos son los principales de los valientes que David tuvo, y los que le ayudaron en su reino, con todo Israel, para hacerle rey sobre Israel, conforme á la palabra de Jehová.

10 Now these are the chief of the mighty men whom David had, who showed themselves strong with him in his kingdom, together with all Israel, to make him king, according to Yahweh’s word concerning Israel.

11 i ovo je broj junaka Davidovih: Jasoveam sin Ahmonijev, prvi između trideset; on mahnu kopljem svojim na tri stotine, i pobi ih u jedanput.

11 Y este es el número de los valientes que David tuvo: Jasobam hijo de Hachmoni, caudillo de los treinta, el cual blandió su lanza una vez contra trescientos, á los cuales mató.

11 This is the number of the mighty men whom David had: Jashobeam, the son of a Hachmonite, the chief of the thirty; he lifted up his spear against three hundred and killed them at one time.

12 A za njim Eleazar, sin Dodov Ahošanin, on beše jedan od tri junaka.

12 Tras de éste fué Eleazar hijo de Dodo, Ahohita, el cual era de los tres valientes.

12 After him was Eleazar the son of Dodo, the Ahohite, who was one of the three mighty men.

13 On beše s Davidom u Fas-Damimu, kad se Filisteji skupiše na boj; i onde beše njiva puna ječma, i narod pobeže od Filisteja,

13 Este estuvo con David en Pasdammin, estando allí juntos en batalla los Filisteos: y había [allí] una suerte de tierra llena de cebada, y huyendo el pueblo delante de los Filisteos,

13 He was with David at Pasdammim, and there the Philistines were gathered together to battle, where there was a plot of ground full of barley; and the people fled from before the Philistines.

14 a oni stadoše usred njive, i odbraniše je pobivši Filisteje; i Gospod dade izbavljenje veliko.

14 Pusiéronse ellos en medio de la haza, y la defendieron, y vencieron á los Filisteos; y favoreciólos Jehová con grande salvamento.

14 They stood in the middle of the plot, defended it, and killed the Philistines; and Yahweh saved them by a great victory.

15 I ta tri prva između trideset siđoše ka steni k Davidu u pećinu Odolamsku, kad vojska filistejska stajaše u logoru u dolini rafajskoj.

15 Y tres de los treinta principales descendieron á la peña á David, á la cueva de Adullam, estando el campo de los Filisteos en el valle de Raphaim.

15 Three of the thirty chief men went down to the rock to David, into the cave of Adullam; and the army of the Philistines were encamped in the valley of Rephaim.

16 A David beše onda u gradu, a straža filistejska beše tada u Vitlejemu.

16 Y David estaba entonces en la fortaleza, y había á la sazón guarnición de Filisteos en Beth-lehem.

16 David was then in the stronghold, and the garrison of the Philistines was in Bethlehem at that time.

17 I David zažele i reče: Ko bi mi doneo vode da pijem iz studenca vitlejemskog što je kod vrata?

17 David deseó entonces, y dijo: ¡Quién me diera á beber de las aguas del pozo de Beth-lehem, que está á la puerta!

17 David longed, and said, “Oh, that someone would give me water to drink from the well of Bethlehem, which is by the gate!”

18 Tada ta trojica prodreše kroz logor filistejski, i zahvatiše vode iz studenca vitlejemskog koji je kod vrata, i donesoše i dadoše Davidu; a David ne hte piti, nego je izli Gospodu.

18 Y aquellos tres rompieron por el campo de los Filisteos, y sacaron agua del pozo de Beth-lehem, que está á la puerta, y tomaron y trajéronla á David: mas él no la quiso beber, sino que la derramó á Jehová, y dijo:

18 The three broke through the army of the Philistines, and drew water out of the well of Bethlehem that was by the gate, took it, and brought it to David; but David would not drink any of it, but poured it out to Yahweh,

19 I reče: Ne dao mi Bog moj da to učinim! Eda li ću piti krv tih ljudi koji ne mariše za život svoj? Jer je donesoše ne mareći za život svoj. I ne hte je piti. To učiniše ta tri junaka.

19 Guárdeme mi Dios de hacer esto: ¿había yo de beber la sangre de estos varones con sus vidas, que con [peligro de] sus vidas la han traído? Y no la quiso beber. Esto hicieron aquellos tres valientes.

19 and said, “My God forbid me, that I should do this! Shall I drink the blood of these men who have put their lives in jeopardy?” For they risked their lives to bring it. Therefore he would not drink it. The three mighty men did these things.

20 I Avisaj brat Joavov beše prvi između trojice. I on mahnu kopljem svojim na tri stotine, i pobi ih, i proslavi se među trojicom;

20 Y Abisai, hermano de Joab, era cabeza de los tres, el cual blandió su lanza sobre trescientos, á los cuales hirió; y fué entre los tres nombrado.

20 Abishai, the brother of Joab, was chief of the three; for he lifted up his spear against three hundred and killed them, and had a name among the three.

21 među trojicom beše slavniji od druge dvojice i beše im poglavica; ali one trojice ne stiže.

21 De los tres fué más ilustre que los [otros] dos, y fué el principal de ellos: mas no llegó á los tres [primeros].

21 Of the three, he was more honorable than the two, and was made their captain; however he wasn’t included in the three.

22 Venaja sin Jodajev, sin čoveka junaka iz Kaseila, koji učini velika dela, on pogubi dva junaka moavska, i sišav ubi lava u jami kad beše sneg.

22 Benaías hijo de Joiada, hijo de varón de esfuerzo, de grandes hechos, de Cabseel: él venció los dos leones de Moab: también descendió, é hirió un león en mitad de un foso en tiempo de nieve.

22 Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, the son of a valiant man of Kabzeel, who had done mighty deeds, killed the two sons of Ariel of Moab. He also went down and killed a lion in the middle of a pit on a snowy day.

23 On ubi i nekog Misirca visokog pet lakata. Imaše Misirac u ruci koplje kao vratilo, a on iziđe na nj sa štapom, i istrže Misircu koplje iz ruke, i ubi ga njegovim kopljem.

23 El mismo venció á un Egipcio, hombre de cinco codos de estatura: y el Egipcio traía una lanza como un enjullo de tejedor; mas él descendió á él con un bastón, y arrebató al Egipcio la lanza de la mano, y matólo con su misma lanza.

23 He killed an Egyptian, a man of great stature, five cubits high. In the Egyptian’s hand was a spear like a weaver’s beam; and he went down to him with a staff, plucked the spear out of the Egyptian’s hand, and killed him with his own spear.

24 To učini Venaja, sin Jodajev, i bi slavan među ova tri junaka.

24 Esto hizo Benaías hijo de Joiada, y fué nombrado entre los tres valientes.

24 Benaiah the son of Jehoiada did these things and had a name among the three mighty men.

25 Beše najslavniji između tridesetorice, ali one trojice ne stiže. I David ga postavi nad pratiocima svojim.

25 Y fué el más honrado de los treinta, mas no llegó á los tres [primeros]. A éste puso David en su consejo.

25 Behold, he was more honorable than the thirty, but he didn’t attain to the three; and David set him over his guard.
