1 Είκοσι ετών ηλικίας ήτο ο Άχαζ ότε εβασίλευσε, και εβασίλευσε δεκαέξ έτη εν Ιερουσαλήμ· δεν έπραξεν όμως το ευθές ενώπιον Κυρίου, ως ο Δαβίδ ο πατήρ αυτού·
1 DE VEINTE años era Achâz cuando comenzó á reinar, y dieciséis años reinó en Jerusalem: mas no hizo lo recto en ojos de Jehová, como David su padre.
1 Ahaz was twenty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem. He didn’t do that which was right in Yahweh’s eyes, like David his father,
2 αλλά περιεπάτησεν εν ταις οδοίς των βασιλέων του Ισραήλ και έκαμεν έτι είδωλα χωνευτά εις τους Βααλείμ.
2 Antes anduvo en los caminos de los reyes de Israel, y además hizo imágenes de fundición á los Baales.
2 but he walked in the ways of the kings of Israel, and also made molten images for the Baals.
3 Και αυτός εθυμίασεν εν τη κοιλάδι του υιού Εννόμ και διεβίβασε τα τέκνα αυτού διά του πυρός, κατά τα βδελύγματα των εθνών τα οποία εξεδίωξεν ο Κύριος απ' έμπροσθεν των υιών Ισραήλ.
3 Quemó también perfume en el valle de los hijos de Hinnom, y quemó sus hijos por fuego, conforme á las abominaciones de las gentes que Jehová había echado delante de los hijos de Israel.
3 Moreover he burned incense in the valley of the son of Hinnom, and burned his children in the fire, according to the abominations of the nations whom Yahweh cast out before the children of Israel.
4 Και εθυσίαζε και εθυμίαζεν επί τους υψηλούς τόπους και επί τους λόφους και υποκάτω παντός δένδρου πρασίνου.
4 Asimismo sacrificó y quemó perfumes en los altos, y en los collados, y debajo de todo árbol espeso.
4 He sacrificed and burned incense in the high places, and on the hills, and under every green tree.
5 Διά τούτο παρέδωκεν αυτόν Κύριος ο Θεός αυτού εις την χείρα του βασιλέως της Συρίας· και επάταξαν αυτόν, και έλαβον αιχμαλώτους μέγα πλήθος εξ αυτών και έφεραν αυτούς εις Δαμασκόν. Και παρεδόθη έτι εις την χείρα του βασιλέως του Ισραήλ, όστις επάταξεν αυτόν εν σφαγή μεγάλη.
5 Por lo cual Jehová su Dios lo entregó en manos del rey de los Siros, los cuales le derrotaron, y cogieron de él una grande presa, que llevaron á Damasco. Fué también entregado en manos del rey de Israel, el cual lo batió con gran mortandad.
5 Therefore Yahweh his God delivered him into the hand of the king of Syria. They struck him, and carried away from him a great multitude of captives, and brought them to Damascus. He was also delivered into the hand of the king of Israel, who struck him with a great slaughter.
6 Διότι Φεκά ο υιός του Ρεμαλία εθανάτωσεν εκ του Ιούδα εκατόν είκοσι χιλιάδας εν μιά ημέρα, πάντας δυνατούς εν ισχύϊ, επειδή εγκατέλιπον Κύριον τον Θεόν των πατέρων αυτών.
6 Porque Peca, hijo de Remalías mató en Judá en un día ciento y veinte mil, todos hombres valientes; por cuanto habían dejado á Jehová el Dios de sus padres.
6 For Pekah the son of Remaliah killed in Judah one hundred twenty thousand in one day, all of them valiant men, because they had forsaken Yahweh, the God of their fathers.
7 Και Ζιχρί, ανήρ δυνατός εκ του Εφραΐμ, εθανάτωσε Μαασίαν τον υιόν του βασιλέως και Αζρικάμ τον επιστάτην του παλατίου και Ελκανά τον δεύτερον μετά τον βασιλέα.
7 Asimismo Zichri, hombre poderoso de Ephraim, mató á Maasías hijo del rey, y á Azricam su mayordomo, y á Elcana, segundo después del rey.
7 Zichri, a mighty man of Ephraim, killed Maaseiah the king’s son, Azrikam the ruler of the house, and Elkanah who was next to the king.
8 Και ηχμαλώτισαν οι υιοί Ισραήλ εκ των αδελφών αυτών διακοσίας χιλιάδας, γυναίκας, υιούς και θυγατέρας, και έλαβον έτι λάφυρα πολλά εξ αυτών και έφεραν τα λάφυρα εις Σαμάρειαν.
8 Tomaron también cautivos los hijos de Israel de sus hermanos doscientos mil, mujeres, muchachos, y muchachas, á más de haber saqueado de ellos un gran despojo, el cual trajeron á Samaria.
8 The children of Israel carried away captive of their brothers two hundred thousand women, sons, and daughters, and also took away much plunder from them, and brought the plunder to Samaria.
9 Ήτο δε εκεί προφήτης του Κυρίου, ονομαζόμενος Ωδήδ· και εξήλθεν εις απάντησιν του στρατεύματος του ερχομένου εις Σαμάρειαν και είπε προς αυτούς, Ιδού, επειδή Κύριος ο Θεός των πατέρων σας εθυμώθη κατά του Ιούδα, παρέδωκεν αυτούς εις την χείρα σας· και σεις εθανατώσατε αυτούς εν μανία, ήτις έφθασεν έως του ουρανού·
9 Había entonces allí un profeta de Jehová, que se llamaba Obed, el cual salió delante del ejército cuando entraba en Samaria, y díjoles: He aquí Jehová el Dios de vuestros padres, por el enojo contra Judá, los ha entregado en vuestras manos; y vosotros los habéis muerto con ira, que hasta el cielo ha llegado.
9 But a prophet of Yahweh was there, whose name was Oded; and he went out to meet the army that came to Samaria, and said to them, “Behold, because Yahweh, the God of your fathers, was angry with Judah, he has delivered them into your hand, and you have slain them in a rage which has reached up to heaven.
10 και τώρα λέγετε να υποτάξητε εις εαυτούς τους υιούς Ιούδα και της Ιερουσαλήμ διά δούλους και δούλας· δεν είναι με σας, με σας μάλιστα, αμαρτίαι εναντίον Κυρίου του Θεού σας;
10 Y ahora habéis determinado sujetar á vosotros á Judá y á Jerusalem por siervos y siervas: mas ¿no habéis vosotros pecado contra Jehová vuestro Dios?
10 Now you intend to degrade the children of Judah and Jerusalem as male and female slaves for yourselves. Aren’t there even with you trespasses of your own against Yahweh your God?
11 τώρα λοιπόν ακούσατέ μου και επιστρέψατε τους αιχμαλώτους, τους οποίους ηχμαλωτίσατε εκ των αδελφών σας· διότι οργή θυμού Κυρίου επίκειται εις εσάς.
11 Oidme pues ahora, y volved á enviar los cautivos que habéis tomado de vuestros hermanos: porque Jehová está airado contra vosotros.
11 Now hear me therefore, and send back the captives that you have taken captive from your brothers, for the fierce wrath of Yahweh is on you.”
12 Και εσηκώθησάν τινές εκ των αρχόντων των υιών Εφραΐμ, Αζαρίας ο υιός του Ιωανάν, Βαραχίας ο υιός του Μεσιλλεμώθ και Εζεκίας ο υιός του Σαλλούμ και Αμασά ο υιός του Αδλαΐ εναντίον των ερχομένων από του πολέμου,
12 Levantáronse entonces algunos varones de los principales de los hijos de Ephraim, Azarías hijo de Johanán, y Berechîas hijo de Mesillemoth, y Ezechîas hijo de Sallum, y Amasa hijo de Hadlai, contra los que venían de la guerra.
12 Then some of the heads of the children of Ephraim, Azariah the son of Johanan, Berechiah the son of Meshillemoth, Jehizkiah the son of Shallum, and Amasa the son of Hadlai, stood up against those who came from the war,
13 και είπον προς αυτούς, Δεν θέλετε εισάξει εδώ τους αιχμαλώτους· διότι ενώ ηνομήσαμεν εις Κύριον, θέλετε να προσθέσητε εις τας αμαρτίας ημών και εις τας ανομίας ημών· διότι μεγάλη είναι ανομία ημών, και οργή θυμού επίκειται επί τον Ισραήλ.
13 Y dijéronles: No metáis acá la cautividad; porque el pecado contra Jehová será sobre nosotros. Vosotros tratáis de añadir sobre nuestros pecados y sobre nuestras culpas, siendo asaz grande nuestro delito, y la ira del furor sobre Israel.
13 and said to them, “You must not bring in the captives here, for you intend that which will bring on us a trespass against Yahweh, to add to our sins and to our guilt; for our guilt is great, and there is fierce wrath against Israel.”
14 Και αφήκαν οι πολεμισταί τους αιχμαλώτους και τα λάφυρα ενώπιον των αρχόντων και πάσης της συνάξεως.
14 Entonces el ejército dejó los cautivos y la presa delante de los príncipes y de toda la multitud.
14 So the armed men left the captives and the plunder before the princes and all the assembly.
15 Και σηκωθέντες οι άνδρες, οι ονομασθέντες κατ' όνομα, έλαβον τους αιχμαλώτους και πάντας τους γυμνούς αυτών ενέδυσαν εκ των λαφύρων· και αφού ενέδυσαν αυτούς και υπεδημάτωσαν αυτούς και έδωκαν εις αυτούς να φάγωσι και να πίωσι και ήλειψαν αυτούς, και πάντας τους αδυνάτους εξ αυτών μετεκόμισαν επί όνους και έφεραν αυτούς εις Ιεριχώ, την πόλιν των φοινίκων, προς τους αδελφούς αυτών· και επέστρεψαν εις Σαμάρειαν.
15 Y levantáronse los varones nombrados, y tomaron los cautivos, y vistieron del despojo á los que de ellos estaban desnudos; vistiéronlos y calzáronlos, y diéronles de comer y de beber, y ungiéronlos, y condujeron en asnos á todos los flacos, y lleváronlos hasta Jericó, ciudad de las palmas, cerca de sus hermanos; y ellos se volvieron á Samaria.
15 The men who have been mentioned by name rose up and took the captives, and with the plunder clothed all who were naked among them, dressed them, gave them sandals, gave them something to eat and to drink, anointed them, carried all the feeble of them on donkeys, and brought them to Jericho, the city of palm trees, to their brothers. Then they returned to Samaria.
16 Κατά τον καιρόν εκείνον ο βασιλεύς Άχαζ απέστειλε προς τους βασιλείς της Ασσυρίας, διά να βοηθήσωσιν αυτόν.
16 En aquel tiempo envió [á pedir] el rey Achâz á los reyes de Asiria que le ayudasen:
16 At that time King Ahaz sent to the kings of Assyria to help him.
17 Διότι ελθόντες πάλιν οι Ιδουμαίοι επάταξαν τον Ιούδαν και έλαβον αιχμαλώτους.
17 Porque á más de esto, los Idumeos habían venido y herido á los de Judá, y habían llevado cautivos.
17 For again the Edomites had come and struck Judah, and carried away captives.
18 Και εφορμήσαντες οι Φιλισταίοι εις τας πόλεις της πεδινής και της μεσημβρινής του Ιούδα· εκυρίευσαν την Βαιθ-σεμές και την Αιαλών και την Γεδηρώθ, και την Σοκχώ και τας κώμας αυτής, και την Θαμνά και τας κώμας αυτής, και την Γιμζώ και ταις κώμας αυτής· και κατώκησαν εκεί.
18 Asimismo los Filisteos se habían derramado por las ciudades de la llanura, y al mediodía de Judá, y habían tomado á Beth-semes, á Ajalón, Gederoth, y Sochô con sus aldeas, Timna también con sus aldeas, y Gimzo con sus aldeas; y habitaban en ellas.
18 The Philistines also had invaded the cities of the lowland and of the South of Judah, and had taken Beth Shemesh, Aijalon, Gederoth, Soco with its villages, Timnah with its villages, and also Gimzo and its villages; and they lived there.
19 Διότι ο Κύριος εταπείνωσε τον Ιούδαν διά τον Άχαζ βασιλέα του Ισραήλ· επειδή διέφθειρε τον Ιούδαν και ησέβησε σφόδρα εις τον Κύριον.
19 Porque Jehová había humillado á Judá por causa de Achâz rey de Israel: por cuanto él había desnudado á Judá, y rebeládose gravemente contra Jehová.
19 For Yahweh brought Judah low because of Ahaz king of Israel, because he acted without restraint in Judah and trespassed severely against Yahweh.
20 Και ήλθε προς αυτόν ο Θελγάθ-φελνασάρ, βασιλεύς της Ασσυρίας, και κατέθλιψεν αυτόν αντί να ενδυναμώση αυτόν.
20 Y vino contra él Tilgath-pilneser, rey de los Asirios: pues lo redujo á estrechez, y no lo fortificó.
20 Tilgath-pilneser king of Assyria came to him and gave him trouble, but didn’t strengthen him.
21 Διότι ο Άχαζ, λαβών τους θησαυρούς του οίκου του Κυρίου και του οίκου του βασιλέως και των αρχόντων, έδωκεν εις τον βασιλέα της Ασσυρίας· πλην ουχί εις βοήθειαν αυτού.
21 Aunque despojó Achâz la casa de Jehová, y la casa real, y las de los príncipes, para dar al rey de los Asirios, con todo eso él no le ayudó.
21 For Ahaz took away a portion out of Yahweh’s house, and out of the house of the king and of the princes, and gave it to the king of Assyria; but it didn’t help him.
22 Και εν τω καιρώ της στενοχωρίας αυτού έτι μάλλον παρηνόμησεν εις τον Κύριον αυτός ο βασιλεύς Άχαζ.
22 Además el rey Achâz en el tiempo que [aquél] le apuraba, añadió prevaricación contra Jehová;
22 In the time of his distress, he trespassed yet more against Yahweh, this same King Ahaz.
23 Και εθυσίαζεν εις τους θεούς της Δαμασκού, τους πατάξαντας αυτόν· και έλεγεν, Επειδή οι θεοί του βασιλέως της Συρίας βοηθούσιν αυτούς, εις τούτους θέλω θυσιάσει, διά να βοηθήσωσι και εμέ. Εκείνοι όμως εστάθησαν η φθορά αυτού και παντός του Ισραήλ.
23 Porque sacrificó á los dioses de Damasco que le habían herido, y dijo: Pues que los dioses de los reyes de Siria les ayudan, yo [también] sacrificaré á ellos para que me ayuden; bien que fueron éstos su ruina, y la de todo Israel.
23 For he sacrificed to the gods of Damascus which had defeated him. He said, “Because the gods of the kings of Syria helped them, I will sacrifice to them, that they may help me.” But they were the ruin of him and of all Israel.
24 Και συνήθροισεν ο Άχαζ τα σκεύη του οίκου του Θεού, και κατέκοψε τα σκεύη του οίκου του Θεού και έκλεισε τας θύρας του οίκου του Κυρίου, και έκαμεν εις εαυτόν θυσιαστήρια εν πάση γωνία εν Ιερουσαλήμ.
24 A más de eso recogió Achâz los vasos de la casa de Dios, y quebrólos, y cerró las puertas de la casa de Jehová, é hízose altares en Jerusalem en todos los rincones.
24 Ahaz gathered together the vessels of God’s house, cut the vessels of God’s house in pieces, and shut up the doors of Yahweh’s house; and he made himself altars in every corner of Jerusalem.
25 Και εν πάση πόλει του Ιούδα έκαμεν υψηλούς τόπους, διά να θυμιάζη εις άλλους θεούς, και παρώργισε Κύριον τον Θεόν των πατέρων αυτού.
25 Hizo también altos en todas las ciudades de Judá, para quemar perfumes á los dioses ajenos, provocando así á ira á Jehová el Dios de sus padres.
25 In every city of Judah he made high places to burn incense to other gods, and provoked Yahweh, the God of his fathers, to anger.
26 Αι δε λοιπαί πράξεις αυτού και πάσαι αι οδοί αυτού, αι πρώται και αι έσχαται, ιδού, είναι γεγραμμέναι εν τω βιβλίω των βασιλέων του Ιούδα και Ισραήλ.
26 Lo demás de sus hechos, y todos sus caminos, primeros y postreros, he aquí ello está escrito en el libro de los reyes de Judá y de Israel.
26 Now the rest of his acts, and all his ways, first and last, behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Judah and Israel.
27 Και εκοιμήθη ο Άχαζ μετά των πατέρων αυτού, και έθαψαν αυτόν εν τη πόλει, εν Ιερουσαλήμ· δεν έφεραν όμως αυτόν εις τους τάφους των βασιλέων του Ισραήλ· εβασίλευσε δε αντ' αυτού Εζεκίας ο υιός αυτού.
27 Y durmió Achâz con sus padres, y sepultáronlo en la ciudad de Jerusalem: mas no le metieron en los sepulcros de los reyes de Israel; y reinó en su lugar Ezechîas su hijo.
27 Ahaz slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the city, even in Jerusalem, because they didn’t bring him into the tombs of the kings of Israel; and Hezekiah his son reigned in his place.
