1 Ενώ ιάτρευον τον Ισραήλ, απεκαλύφθη τότε η ανομία του Εφραΐμ και η κακία της Σαμαρείας· διότι έπραξαν ψεύδος· και ο κλέπτης εισέρχεται, ο ληστής γυμνόνει έξωθεν.
1 ESTANDO yo curando á Israel, descubrióse la iniquidad de Ephraim, y las maldades de Samaria; porque obraron engaño: y viene el ladrón, y el salteador despoja de fuera.
1 When I would heal Israel, then the iniquity of Ephraim is uncovered, also the wickedness of Samaria; for they commit falsehood, and the thief enters in, and the gang of robbers ravages outside.
2 Και αυτοί δεν λέγουσιν εν τη καρδία αυτών, ότι ενθυμούμαι πάσαν την ανομίαν αυτών· τώρα περιεκύκλωσαν αυτούς αι πράξεις αυτών· έμπροσθεν του προσώπου μου έγειναν.
2 Y no dicen en su corazón que tengo en la memoria toda su maldad: ahora los rodearán sus obras; delante de mí están.
2 They don’t consider in their hearts that I remember all their wickedness. Now their own deeds have engulfed them. They are before my face.
3 Εν τη κακία αυτών εύφραναν τον βασιλέα και εν τοις ψεύδεσιν αυτών τους άρχοντας.
3 Con su maldad alegran al rey, y á los príncipes con sus mentiras.
3 They make the king glad with their wickedness, and the princes with their lies.
4 Πάντες είναι μοιχοί, ως ο κλίβανος ο πεπυρωμένος υπό του αρτοποιού· όστις, αφού ζυμώση το φύραμα, παύει του να θερμαίνη αυτόν, εωσού γείνη η ζύμωσις.
4 Todos ellos adúlteros; son como horno encendido por el hornero, [el cual] cesará de avivar después que esté hecha la masa, hasta que esté leuda.
4 They are all adulterers. They are burning like an oven that the baker stops stirring, from the kneading of the dough, until it is leavened.
5 Εν τη ημέρα του βασιλέως ημών, οι άρχοντες ησθένησαν υπό της φλογώσεως του οίνου, και αυτός εξήπλωσε την χείρα αυτού προς τους αχρείους.
5 El día de nuestro rey los príncipes lo hicieron enfermar con vasos de vino: extendió su mano con los escarnecedores.
5 On the day of our king, the princes made themselves sick with the heat of wine. He joined his hand with mockers.
6 Διότι ενασχολούσι την καρδίαν αυτών φλεγωμένην ως κλίβανον εν ταις ενέδραις αυτών· ο αρτοποιός αυτών κοιμάται όλην την νύκτα· την δε αυγήν αυτή καίει ως πυρ φλογίζον.
6 Porque aplicaron su corazón, semejante á un horno, á sus artificios: toda la noche duerme su hornero; á la mañana está encendido como llama de fuego.
6 For they have prepared their heart like an oven, while they lie in wait. Their anger smolders all night. In the morning it burns as a flaming fire.
7 Πάντες ούτοι εθερμάνθησαν ως κλίβανος και κατέφαγον τους κριτάς αυτών· πάντες οι βασιλείς αυτών έπεσον· δεν υπάρχει μεταξύ αυτών ο επικαλούμενός με.
7 Todos ellos arden como un horno, y devoraron á sus jueces: cayeron todos sus reyes: no hay entre ellos quien á mí clame.
7 They are all hot as an oven, and devour their judges. All their kings have fallen. There is no one among them who calls to me.
8 Ο Εφραΐμ, αυτός συνεμίγη μετά των λαών· ο Εφραΐμ είναι ως εγκρυφίας όστις δεν εστράφη.
8 Ephraim se envolvió con los pueblos; Ephraim fué torta no vuelta.
8 Ephraim mixes himself among the nations. Ephraim is a pancake not turned over.
9 Ξένοι κατέφαγον την δύναμιν αυτού και αυτός δεν γνωρίζει τούτο· και λευκαί τρίχες ανεφύησαν σποράδην εν αυτώ και αυτός δεν γνωρίζει τούτο.
9 Comieron extraños su sustancia, y él no lo supo; y aun vejez se ha esparcido por él, y él no lo entendió.
9 Strangers have devoured his strength, and he doesn’t realize it. Indeed, gray hairs are here and there on him, and he doesn’t realize it.
10 Και η υπερηφανία του Ισραήλ μαρτυρεί κατά πρόσωπον αυτού· και δεν επιστρέφουσι προς Κύριον τον Θεόν αυτών ουδέ εκζητούσιν αυτόν διά πάντα ταύτα.
10 Y la soberbia de Israel testificará contra él en su cara: y no se tornaron á Jehová su Dios, ni lo buscaron con todo esto.
10 The pride of Israel testifies to his face; yet they haven’t returned to Yahweh their God, nor sought him, for all this.
11 Και ο Εφραΐμ είναι ως περιστερά δελεαζομένη, μη έχουσα σύνεσιν· επικαλούνται την Αίγυπτον, υπάγουσιν εις την Ασσυρίαν.
11 Y fué Ephraim como paloma incauta, sin entendimiento: llamarán á Egipto, acudirán al Asirio.
11 “Ephraim is like an easily deceived dove, without understanding. They call to Egypt. They go to Assyria.
12 Όταν υπάγωσι, θέλω εξαπλώσει επ' αυτούς το δίκτυόν μου· θέλω καταβιβάσει αυτούς καθώς τα πετεινά του ουρανού· θέλω παιδεύσει αυτούς καθώς εκηρύχθη εν τη συναγωγή αυτών.
12 Cuando fueren, extenderé sobre ellos mi red, hacerlos he caer como aves del cielo; castigarélos conforme á lo que se ha oído en sus congregaciones.
12 When they go, I will spread my net on them. I will bring them down like the birds of the sky. I will chastise them, as their congregation has heard.
13 Ουαί εις αυτούς, διότι απεσκίρτησαν απ' εμού· όλεθρος εις αυτούς, διότι ησέβησαν εις εμέ· ενώ εγώ εξηγόρασα αυτούς, αυτοί ελάλησαν κατ' εμού ψεύδη.
13 ¡Ay de ellos! porque se apartaron de mí: destrucción sobre ellos, porque contra mí se rebelaron; yo los redimí, y ellos hablaron contra mí mentiras.
13 Woe to them! For they have wandered from me. Destruction to them! For they have trespassed against me. Though I would redeem them, yet they have spoken lies against me.
14 Και δεν με επεκαλέσθησαν εν τη καρδία αυτών, αλλά ωλόλυζον επί τας κλίνας αυτών· βασανίζονται διά σίτον και οίνον και στασιάζουσιν εναντίον μου.
14 Y no clamaron á mí con su corazón cuando aullaron sobre sus camas, para el trigo y el mosto se congregaron, rebeláronse contra mí.
14 They haven’t cried to me with their heart, but they howl on their beds. They assemble themselves for grain and new wine. They turn away from me.
15 Και εγώ επαίδευσα αυτούς ενώ ενίσχυσα τους βραχίονας αυτών, αυτοί όμως διελογίζοντο πονηρά εναντίον μου.
15 Y yo [los] ceñí, esforcé sus brazos, y contra mí pensaron mal.
15 Though I have taught and strengthened their arms, yet they plot evil against me.
16 Επιστρέφουσιν, ουχί εις τον Υψιστον· έγειναν ως τόξον στρεβλόν· οι άρχοντες αυτών θέλουσι πέσει εν ρομφαία διά την αυθάδειαν της γλώσσης αυτών· τούτο θέλει είσθαι το όνειδος αυτών εν τη γη της Αιγύπτου.
16 Tornáronse, mas no al Altísimo: fueron como arco engañoso: cayeron sus príncipes á cuchillo por la soberbia de su lengua: éste será su escarnio en la tierra de Egipto.
16 They return, but not to the Most High. They are like a faulty bow. Their princes will fall by the sword for the rage of their tongue. This will be their derision in the land of Egypt.
