YLT Traducción literal de Young WEB World English Bible (clásica, con deuterocanónicos) 1 And the people is evil, as those sighing habitually in the ears of Jehovah, and Jehovah heareth, and His anger burneth, and the fire of Jehovah burneth among them, and consumeth in the extremity of the camp.
1 The people were complaining in the ears of Yahweh. When Yahweh heard it, his anger burned; and Yahweh’s fire burned among them, and consumed some of the outskirts of the camp.
2 And the people cry unto Moses, and Moses prayeth unto Jehovah, and the fire is quenched; 2 Entonces el pueblo dió voces á Moisés, y Moisés oró á Jehová, y soterróse el fuego.
2 The people cried to Moses; and Moses prayed to Yahweh, and the fire abated.
3 and he calleth the name of that place Taberah, for the fire of Jehovah hath 'burned' among them.
3 The name of that place was called Taberah, because Yahweh’s fire burned among them.
4 And the rabble who [are] in its midst have lusted greatly, and the sons of Israel also turn back and weep, and say, 'Who doth give us flesh?
4 The mixed multitude that was among them lusted exceedingly; and the children of Israel also wept again, and said, “Who will give us meat to eat?
5 We have remembered the fish which we do eat in Egypt for nought, the cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and the garlick; 5 Nos acordamos del pescado que comíamos en Egipto de balde, de los cohombros, y de los melones, y de los puerros, y de las cebollas, y de los ajos:
5 We remember the fish, which we ate in Egypt for nothing; the cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and the garlic;
6 and now our soul [is] dry, there is not anything, save the manna, before our eyes.' 6 Y ahora nuestra alma se seca; que nada sino maná [ven] nuestros ojos.
6 but now we have lost our appetite. There is nothing at all except this manna to look at.”
7 And the manna is as coriander seed, and its aspect as the aspect of bdolach; 7 Y era el maná como semilla de culantro, y su color como color de bdelio.
7 The manna was like coriander seed, and it looked like bdellium.
8 the people have turned aside and gathered [it], and ground [it] with millstones, or beat [it] in a mortar, and boiled [it] in a pan, and made it cakes, and its taste hath been as the taste of the moisture of oil.
8 The people went around, gathered it, and ground it in mills, or beat it in mortars, and boiled it in pots, and made cakes of it. Its taste was like the taste of fresh oil.
9 And in the descending of the dew on the camp by night, the manna descendeth upon it. 9 Y cuando descendía el rocío sobre el real de noche, el maná descendía de sobre él.
9 When the dew fell on the camp in the night, the manna fell on it.
10 And Moses heareth the people weeping by its families, each at the opening of his tent, and the anger of Jehovah burneth exceedingly, and in the eyes of Moses [it is] evil.
10 Moses heard the people weeping throughout their families, every man at the door of his tent; and Yahweh’s anger burned greatly; and Moses was displeased.
11 And Moses saith unto Jehovah, 'Why hast Thou done evil to Thy servant? and why have I not found grace in Thine eyes — to put the burden of all this people upon me? 11 Y dijo Moisés á Jehová: ¿Por qué has hecho mal á tu siervo?
11 Moses said to Yahweh, “Why have you treated your servant so badly? Why haven’t I found favor in your sight, that you lay the burden of all this people on me?
12 I — have I conceived all this people? I — have I begotten it, that Thou sayest unto me, Carry it in thy bosom as the nursing father beareth the suckling, unto the ground which Thou hast sworn to its fathers?
12 Have I conceived all this people? Have I brought them out, that you should tell me, ‘Carry them in your bosom, as a nurse carries a nursing infant, to the land which you swore to their fathers’?
13 Whence have I flesh to give to all this people? for they weep unto me, saying, Give to us flesh, and we eat.
13 Where could I get meat to give all these people? For they weep before me, saying, ‘Give us meat, that we may eat.’
14 I am not able — I alone — to bear all this people, for [it is] too heavy for me; 14 No puedo yo solo soportar á todo este pueblo, que me es pesado en demasía.
14 I am not able to bear all this people alone, because it is too heavy for me.
15 and if thus Thou art doing to me — slay me, I pray Thee; slay, if I have found grace in thine eyes, and let me not look on mine affliction.' 15 Y si así lo haces tú conmigo, yo te ruego que me des muerte, si he hallado gracia en tus ojos; y que yo no vea mi mal.
15 If you treat me this way, please kill me right now, if I have found favor in your sight; and don’t let me see my wretchedness.”
16 And Jehovah saith unto Moses, 'Gather to Me seventy men of the elders of Israel, whom thou hast known that they are elders of the people, and its authorities; and thou hast taken them unto the tent of meeting, and they have stationed themselves there with thee, 16 Entonces Jehová dijo á Moisés: Júntame setenta varones de los ancianos de Israel, que tú sabes que son ancianos del pueblo y sus principales; y tráelos á la puerta del tabernáculo del testimonio, y esperen allí contigo.
16 Yahweh said to Moses, “Gather to me seventy men of the elders of Israel, whom you know to be the elders of the people and officers over them; and bring them to the Tent of Meeting, that they may stand there with you.
17 and I have come down and spoken with thee there, and have kept back of the Spirit which [is] upon thee, and have put on them, and they have borne with thee some of the burden of the people, and thou dost not bear [it] thyself alone.
17 I will come down and talk with you there. I will take of the Spirit which is on you, and will put it on them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with you, that you don’t bear it yourself alone.
18 'And unto the people thou dost say, Sanctify yourselves for to-morrow, and ye have eaten flesh (for ye have wept in the ears of Jehovah, saying, Who doth give us flesh? for we [had] good in Egypt) — and Jehovah hath given to you flesh, and ye have eaten.
18 “Say to the people, ‘Sanctify yourselves in preparation for tomorrow, and you will eat meat; for you have wept in the ears of Yahweh, saying, “Who will give us meat to eat? For it was well with us in Egypt.” Therefore Yahweh will give you meat, and you will eat.
19 Ye do not eat one day, nor two days, nor five days, nor ten days, nor twenty days; — 19 No comeréis un día, ni dos días, ni cinco días, ni diez días, ni veinte días;
19 You will not eat just one day, or two days, or five days, or ten days, or twenty days,
20 unto a month of days, till that it come out from your nostrils, and it hath become to you an abomination; because that ye have loathed Jehovah, who [is] in your midst, and weep before Him, saying, Why is this? — we have come out of Egypt!' 20 Sino hasta un mes de tiempo, hasta que os salga por las narices, y os sea en aborrecimiento: por cuanto menospreciasteis á Jehová que está en medio de vosotros, y llorasteis delante de él, diciendo: ¿Para qué salimos acá de Egipto?
20 but a whole month, until it comes out at your nostrils, and it is loathsome to you; because you have rejected Yahweh who is among you, and have wept before him, saying, “Why did we come out of Egypt?”’”
21 And Moses saith, 'Six hundred thousand footmen [are] the people in whose midst I [am]; and Thou, Thou hast said, Flesh I give to them, and they have eaten, a month of days!
21 Moses said, “The people, among whom I am, are six hundred thousand men on foot; and you have said, ‘I will give them meat, that they may eat a whole month.’
22 Is flock and herd slaughtered for them, that one hath found for them? — are all the fishes of the sea gathered for them — that one hath found for them?' 22 ¿Se han de degollar para ellos ovejas y bueyes que les basten?
22 Shall flocks and herds be slaughtered for them, to be sufficient for them? Shall all the fish of the sea be gathered together for them, to be sufficient for them?”
23 And Jehovah saith unto Moses, 'Is the hand of Jehovah become short? now thou dost see whether My word meeteth thee or not.' 23 Entonces Jehová respondió á Moisés: ¿Hase acortado la mano de Jehová? ahora verás si te sucede mi dicho, ó no.
23 Yahweh said to Moses, “Has Yahweh’s hand grown short? Now you will see whether my word will happen to you or not.”
24 And Moses goeth out, and speaketh unto the people the words of Jehovah, and gathereth seventy men of the elders of the people, and causeth them to stand round about the tent, 24 Y salió Moisés, y dijo al pueblo las palabras de Jehová: y juntó los setenta varones de los ancianos del pueblo, é hízolos estar alrededor del tabernáculo.
24 Moses went out, and told the people Yahweh’s words; and he gathered seventy men of the elders of the people, and set them around the Tent.
25 and Jehovah cometh down in the cloud, and speaketh unto him, and keepeth back of the Spirit which [is] on him, and putteth on the seventy men of the elders; and it cometh to pass at the resting of the Spirit on them, that they prophesy, and do not cease.
25 Yahweh came down in the cloud, and spoke to him, and took of the Spirit that was on him, and put it on the seventy elders. When the Spirit rested on them, they prophesied, but they did so no more.
26 And two of the men are left in the camp, the name of the one [is] Eldad, and the name of the second Medad, and the spirit resteth upon them, (and they are among those written, and have not gone out to the tent), and they prophesy in the camp; 26 Y habían quedado en el campo dos varones, llamado el uno Eldad y el otro Medad, sobre los cuales también reposó el espíritu: estaban estos entre los escritos, mas no habían salido al tabernáculo; y profetizaron en el campo.
26 But two men remained in the camp. The name of one was Eldad, and the name of the other Medad; and the Spirit rested on them. They were of those who were written, but had not gone out to the Tent; and they prophesied in the camp.
27 and the young man runneth, and declareth to Moses, and saith, 'Eldad and Medad are prophesying in the camp.' 27 Y corrió un mozo, y dió aviso á Moisés, y dijo: Eldad y Medad profetizan en el campo.
27 A young man ran, and told Moses, and said, “Eldad and Medad are prophesying in the camp!”
28 And Joshua son of Nun, minister of Moses, [one] of his young men, answereth and saith, 'My lord Moses, restrain them.' 28 Entonces respondió Josué hijo de Nun, ministro de Moisés, [uno] de sus mancebos, y dijo: Señor mío Moisés, impídelos.
28 Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of Moses, one of his chosen men, answered, “My lord Moses, forbid them!”
29 And Moses saith to him, 'Art thou zealous for me? O that all Jehovah's people were prophets! that Jehovah would put His Spirit upon them!' 29 Y Moisés le respondió: ¿Tienes tú celos por mí? mas ojalá que todo el pueblo de Jehová fuesen profetas, que Jehová pusiera su espíritu sobre ellos.
29 Moses said to him, “Are you jealous for my sake? I wish that all Yahweh’s people were prophets, that Yahweh would put his Spirit on them!”
30 And Moses is gathered unto the camp, he and the elders of Israel.
30 Moses went into the camp, he and the elders of Israel.
31 And a spirit hath journeyed from Jehovah, and cutteth off quails from the sea, and leaveth by the camp, as a day's journey here, and as a day's journey there, round about the camp, and about two cubits, on the face of the land.
31 A wind from Yahweh went out and brought quails from the sea, and let them fall by the camp, about a day’s journey on this side, and a day’s journey on the other side, around the camp, and about two cubits above the surface of the earth.
32 And the people rise all that day, and all the night, and all the day after, and gather the quails — he who hath least hath gathered ten homers — and they spread them out for themselves round about the camp.
32 The people rose up all that day, and all of that night, and all the next day, and gathered the quails. He who gathered least gathered ten homers; and they spread them all out for themselves around the camp.
33 The flesh is yet between their teeth — it is not yet cut off — and the anger of Jehovah hath burned among the people, and Jehovah smiteth among the people — a very great smiting; 33 Aun estaba la carne entre los dientes de ellos, antes que fuese mascada, cuando el furor de Jehová se encendió en el pueblo, é hirió Jehová al pueblo con una muy grande plaga.
33 While the meat was still between their teeth, before it was chewed, Yahweh’s anger burned against the people, and Yahweh struck the people with a very great plague.
34 and [one] calleth the name of that place Kibroth-Hattaavah, for there they have buried the people who lust.
34 The name of that place was called Kibroth Hattaavah, because there they buried the people who lusted.
35 From Kibroth-Hattaavah have the people journeyed to Hazeroth, and they are in Hazeroth.
35 From Kibroth Hattaavah the people traveled to Hazeroth; and they stayed at Hazeroth.
