1 [A Psalm] of David. To thee, O Lord, have I cried; My God, be not silent toward me: Lest thou be silent toward me, And so I should be likened to them that go down to the pit.
28:1 Salmo de David. A TI clamaré, oh Jehová, fortaleza mía: no te desentiendas de mí; porque no sea yo, dejándome tú, semejante á los que descienden al sepulcro.
28:1 By David. To you, Yahweh, I call. My rock, don’t be deaf to me, lest, if you are silent to me, I would become like those who go down into the pit.
2 Hearken to the voice of my supplication, when I pray to thee, When I lift up my hands toward thy holy temple.
28:2 Oye la voz de mis ruegos cuando clamo á ti, cuando alzo mis manos hacia el templo de tu santidad.
28:2 Hear the voice of my petitions, when I cry to you, when I lift up my hands toward your Most Holy Place.
3 Draw not away my soul with sinners, And destroy me not with the workers of iniquity, Who speak peace with their neighbors, But evils are in their hearts.
28:3 No me arrebates á una con los malos, y con los que hacen iniquidad: los cuales hablan paz con sus prójimos, y la maldad está en su corazón.
28:3 Don’t draw me away with the wicked, with the workers of iniquity who speak peace with their neighbors, but mischief is in their hearts.
4 Give them according to their works, And according to the wickedness of their devices: Give them according to the works of their hands; Render their recompense unto them.
28:4 Dales conforme á su obra, y conforme á la malicia de sus hechos: dales conforme á la obra de sus manos, dales su paga.
28:4 Give them according to their work, and according to the wickedness of their doings. Give them according to the operation of their hands. Bring back on them what they deserve.
5 Because they have not attended to the works of the Lord, Even to the works of his hands, Thou shalt pull them down, and shalt not build them up.
28:5 Porque no atendieron á las obras de Jehová, ni al hecho de sus manos, derribarálos, y no los edificará.
28:5 Because they don’t respect the works of Yahweh, nor the operation of his hands, he will break them down and not build them up.
6 Blessed be the Lord, for he has hearkened to the voice of my petition.
28:6 Bendito Jehová, que oyó la voz de mis ruegos.
28:6 Blessed be Yahweh, because he has heard the voice of my petitions.
7 The Lord is my helper and my defender; My heart has hoped in him, and I am helped: My flesh has revived, And willingly will I give praise to him.
28:7 Jehová es mi fortaleza y mi escudo: en él esperó mi corazón, y fuí ayudado; por lo que se gozó mi corazón, y con mi canción le alabaré.
28:7 Yahweh is my strength and my shield. My heart has trusted in him, and I am helped. Therefore my heart greatly rejoices. With my song I will thank him.
8 The Lord is the strength of his people, And the saving defender of his anointed.
28:8 Jehová es su fuerza, y la fortaleza de las saludes de su ungido.
28:8 Yahweh is their strength. He is a stronghold of salvation to his anointed.
9 Save thy people, and bless thine inheritance: And take care of them, and lift them up forever.
28:9 Salva á tu pueblo, y bendice á tu heredad; y pastoréalos y ensálzalos para siempre.
28:9 Save your people, and bless your inheritance. Be their shepherd also, and bear them up forever.
