1 And the Lord showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the Lord, and the Devil stood on his right hand to resist him. And the Lord said to the Devil,
1 Y MOSTRÓME á Josué, el gran sacerdote, el cual estaba delante del ángel de Jehová; y Satán estaba á su mano derecha para serle adversario.
2 The Lord rebuke thee, O Devil, even the Lord that has chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: behold! is not this as a brand plucked from the fire?
2 Y dijo Jehová á Satán: Jehová te reprenda, oh Satán; Jehová, que ha escogido á Jerusalem, te reprenda. ¿No es éste tizón arrebatado del incendio?
3 Now Joshua was clothed in filthy raiment, and stood before the angel.
3 Y Josué estaba vestido de vestimentas viles, y estaba delante del ángel.
4 And [the Lord] answered and spoke to those who stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy raiment from him: and he said to him, Behold, I have taken away thine iniquities: and clothe ye him with a long robe,
4 Y habló el [ángel], é intimó á los que estaban delante de sí, diciendo: Quitadle esas vestimentas viles. Y á él dijo: Mira que he hecho pasar tu pecado de ti, y te he hecho vestir de ropas de gala.
5 and place a pure miter upon his head. So they placed a pure miter upon his head, and clothed him with garments: and the angel of the Lord stood [by].
5 Después dijo: Pongan mitra limpia sobre su cabeza. Y pusieron una mitra limpia sobre su cabeza, y vistiéronle de ropas. Y el ángel de Jehová estaba en pie.
6 And the angel of the Lord testified to Joshua, saying,
6 Y el ángel de Jehová protestó al mismo Josué, diciendo:
7 Thus saith the Lord Almighty; If thou wilt walk in my ways, and take heed to my charges, then shalt thou judge my house: and if thou wilt diligently keep my court, then will I give thee men to walk in the midst of these that stand [here].
7 Así dice Jehová de los ejércitos: Si anduvieres por mis caminos, y si guardares mi ordenanza, también tú gobernarás mi casa, también tú guardarás mis atrios, y entre estos que aquí están te daré plaza.
8 Hear now, Joshua the high priest, thou, and thy neighbors that are sitting before [thee]: for they are diviners, for, behold, I bring forth my servant The Branch.
8 Escucha pues ahora, Josué gran sacerdote, tú, y tus amigos que se sientan delante de ti; porque son varones simbólicos: He aquí, yo traigo á mi siervo, el Pimpollo.
9 For [as for] the stone which I have set before the face of Joshua, on the one stone are seven eyes: behold, I am digging a trench, saith the Lord Almighty, and I will search out all the iniquity of that land in one day.
9 Porque he aquí aquella piedra que puse delante de Josué; sobre esta única piedra hay siete ojos: he aquí, yo grabaré su escultura, dice Jehová de los ejércitos, y quitaré el pecado de la tierra en un día.
10 In that day, saith the Lord Almighty, ye shall call together every man his neighbor under the vine and under the fig tree.
10 En aquel día, dice Jehová de los ejércitos, cada uno de vosotros llamará á su compañero debajo de la vid, y debajo de la higuera.
