LSV Literal Standard Version WEB World English Bible (clásica, con deuterocanónicos) 1 Then Solomon assembles the elderly of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, princes of the fathers of the sons of Israel, to King Solomon, to Jerusalem, to bring up the Ark of the Covenant of YHWH from the City of David—it [is] Zion; 1 ENTONCES juntó Salomón los ancianos de Israel, y á todas las cabezas de las tribus, y á los príncipes de las familias de los hijos de Israel, al rey Salomón en Jerusalem para traer el arca del pacto de Jehová de la ciudad de David, que es Sión.
1 Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel with all the heads of the tribes, the princes of the fathers’ households of the children of Israel, to King Solomon in Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of Yahweh’s covenant out of David’s city, which is Zion.
2 and all the men of Israel are assembled to King Solomon, in the month of Ethanim, in the festival (the seventh month). 2 Y se juntaron al rey Salomón todos los varones de Israel en el mes de Ethanim, que es el mes séptimo, en el día solemne.
2 All the men of Israel assembled themselves to King Solomon at the feast in the month Ethanim, which is the seventh month.
3 And all [the] elderly of Israel come in, and the priests lift up the Ark, 3 Y vinieron todos los ancianos de Israel, y los sacerdotes tomaron el arca.
3 All the elders of Israel came, and the priests picked up the ark.
4 and bring up the Ark of YHWH, and the Tent of Meeting, and all the holy vessels that [are] in the tent, indeed, the priests and the Levites bring them up. 4 Y llevaron el arca de Jehová, y el tabernáculo del testimonio, y todos los vasos sagrados que estaban en el tabernáculo; los cuales llevaban los sacerdotes y Levitas.
4 They brought up Yahweh’s ark, the Tent of Meeting, and all the holy vessels that were in the Tent. The priests and the Levites brought these up.
5 And King Solomon and all the congregation of Israel who are assembled to him [are] with him before the Ark, sacrificing sheep and oxen, that are not counted nor numbered for multitude.
5 King Solomon and all the congregation of Israel, who were assembled to him, were with him before the ark, sacrificing sheep and cattle that could not be counted or numbered for multitude.
6 And the priests bring in the Ark of the Covenant of YHWH to its place, to the oracle of the house, to the Holy of Holies, to the place of the wings of the cherubim; 6 Y los sacerdotes metieron el arca del pacto de Jehová en su lugar, en el oráculo de la casa, en el lugar santísimo, debajo de las alas de los querubines.
6 The priests brought in the ark of Yahweh’s covenant to its place, into the inner sanctuary of the house, to the most holy place, even under the cherubim’s wings.
7 for the cherubim are spreading forth two wings to the place of the Ark, and the cherubim cover over the Ark, and over its poles from above; 7 Porque los querubines tenían extendidas las alas sobre el lugar del arca, y así cubrían los querubines el arca y sus varas por encima.
7 For the cherubim spread their wings out over the place of the ark, and the cherubim covered the ark and its poles above.
8 and they lengthen the poles, and the heads of the poles are seen from the holy [place] on the front of the oracle, and are not seen outside, and they are there to this day.
8 The poles were so long that the ends of the poles were seen from the holy place before the inner sanctuary, but they were not seen outside. They are there to this day.
9 There is nothing in the Ark, only the two tablets of stone which Moses put there in Horeb when YHWH covenanted with the sons of Israel in their going out of the land of Egypt.
9 There was nothing in the ark except the two stone tablets which Moses put there at Horeb, when Yahweh made a covenant with the children of Israel, when they came out of the land of Egypt.
10 And it comes to pass, in the going out of the priests from the holy [place], that the cloud has filled the house of YHWH, 10 Y como los sacerdotes salieron del santuario, la nube hinchió la casa de Jehová.
10 It came to pass, when the priests had come out of the holy place, that the cloud filled Yahweh’s house,
11 and the priests have not been able to stand to minister because of the cloud, for the glory of YHWH has filled the house of YHWH. 11 Y los sacerdotes no pudieron estar para ministrar por causa de la nube; porque la gloria de Jehová había henchido la casa de Jehová.
11 so that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud; for Yahweh’s glory filled Yahweh’s house.
12 Then Solomon said, “YHWH has said [He is] to dwell in thick darkness; 12 Entonces dijo Salomón: Jehová ha dicho que él habitaría en la oscuridad.
12 Then Solomon said, “Yahweh has said that he would dwell in the thick darkness.
13 I have surely built a house of habitation for You; a fixed place for Your abiding for all ages.” 13 Yo he edificado casa por morada para ti, asiento en que tú habites para siempre.
13 I have surely built you a house of habitation, a place for you to dwell in forever.”
14 And the king turns his face around, and blesses the whole assembly of Israel; and all the assembly of Israel is standing.
14 The king turned his face around and blessed all the assembly of Israel; and all the assembly of Israel stood.
15 And he says, “Blessed [is] YHWH, God of Israel, who spoke by His mouth with my father David, and by His hand has fulfilled [it], saying, 15 Y dijo: Bendito sea Jehová Dios de Israel, que habló de su boca á David mi padre, y con su mano lo ha cumplido, diciendo:
15 He said, “Blessed is Yahweh, the God of Israel, who spoke with his mouth to David your father, and has with his hand fulfilled it, saying,
16 From the day that I brought out My people, even Israel, from Egypt, I have not fixed on a city out of all the tribes of Israel, to build a house for My Name being there; and I fix on David to be over My people Israel.
16 ‘Since the day that I brought my people Israel out of Egypt, I chose no city out of all the tribes of Israel to build a house, that my name might be there; but I chose David to be over my people Israel.’
17 And it is with the heart of my father David to build a house for the Name of YHWH, God of Israel, 17 Y David mi padre tuvo en el corazón edificar casa al nombre de Jehová Dios de Israel.
17 “Now it was in the heart of David my father to build a house for the name of Yahweh, the God of Israel.
18 and YHWH says to my father David, Because that it has been with your heart to build a house for My Name, you have done well that it has been with your heart; 18 Mas Jehová dijo á David mi padre: Cuanto á haber tú tenido en el corazón edificar casa á mi nombre, bien has hecho en tener tal voluntad;
18 But Yahweh said to David my father, ‘Whereas it was in your heart to build a house for my name, you did well that it was in your heart.
19 only, you do not build the house, but your son who is coming out from your loins, he builds the house for My Name.
19 Nevertheless, you shall not build the house; but your son who shall come out of your body, he shall build the house for my name.’
20 And YHWH establishes His word which He spoke, and I am risen up instead of my father David, and I sit on the throne of Israel, as YHWH spoke, and build the house for the Name of YHWH, God of Israel, 20 Y Jehová ha verificado su palabra que había dicho; que me he levantado yo en lugar de David mi padre, y heme sentado en el trono de Israel, como Jehová había dicho, y he edificado la casa al nombre de Jehová Dios de Israel.
20 Yahweh has established his word that he spoke; for I have risen up in the place of David my father, and I sit on the throne of Israel, as Yahweh promised, and have built the house for the name of Yahweh, the God of Israel.
21 and I set a place for the Ark there, where the covenant of YHWH [is], which He made with our fathers in His bringing them out from the land of Egypt.” 21 Y he puesto en ella lugar para el arca, en la cual está el pacto de Jehová, que él hizo con nuestros padres cuando los sacó de la tierra de Egipto.
21 There I have set a place for the ark, in which is Yahweh’s covenant, which he made with our fathers when he brought them out of the land of Egypt.”
22 And Solomon stands before the altar of YHWH, in front of all the assembly of Israel, and spreads his hands toward the heavens, 22 Púsose luego Salomón delante del altar de Jehová, en presencia de toda la congregación de Israel, y extendiendo sus manos al cielo,
22 Solomon stood before Yahweh’s altar in the presence of all the assembly of Israel, and spread out his hands toward heaven;
23 and says, “YHWH, God of Israel, there is not a God like You, in the heavens above and on the earth below, keeping the covenant and the kindness for Your servants, those walking before You with all their heart, 23 Dijo: Jehová Dios de Israel, no hay Dios como tú, ni arriba en los cielos ni abajo en la tierra, que guardas el pacto y la misericordia á tus siervos, los que andan delante de ti de todo su corazón;
23 and he said, “Yahweh, the God of Israel, there is no God like you, in heaven above, or on earth beneath; who keeps covenant and loving kindness with your servants who walk before you with all their heart;
24 which You have kept for Your servant, my father David, that which You spoke to him; indeed, You speak with Your mouth, and with Your hand have fulfilled [it], as [at] this day.
24 who has kept with your servant David my father that which you promised him. Yes, you spoke with your mouth, and have fulfilled it with your hand, as it is today.
25 And now, YHWH, God of Israel, keep for Your servant, my father David, that which You spoke to him, saying, A man of yours is never cut off from before My face, sitting on the throne of Israel—only, if your sons watch their way, to walk before Me as you have walked before Me. 25 Ahora pues, Jehová Dios de Israel, cumple á tu siervo David mi padre lo que le prometiste, diciendo: No faltará varón de ti delante de mí, que se siente en el trono de Israel, con tal que tus hijos guarden su camino, que anden delante de mí como tú has delante de mí andado.
25 Now therefore, may Yahweh, the God of Israel, keep with your servant David my father that which you have promised him, saying, ‘There shall not fail from you a man in my sight to sit on the throne of Israel, if only your children take heed to their way, to walk before me as you have walked before me.’
26 And now, O God of Israel, please let Your word be established which You have spoken to Your servant, my father David. 26 Ahora pues, oh Dios de Israel, verifíquese tu palabra que dijiste á tu siervo David mi padre.
26 “Now therefore, God of Israel, please let your word be verified, which you spoke to your servant David my father.
27 But is it true [that] God dwells on the earth? Behold, the heavens and the heavens of the heavens cannot contain You, how much less this house which I have built!
27 But will God in very deed dwell on the earth? Behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens can’t contain you; how much less this house that I have built!
28 Then You have turned to the prayer of Your servant, and to his supplication, O YHWH my God, to listen to the cry and to the prayer which Your servant is praying before You today, 28 Con todo, tú atenderás á la oración de tu siervo, y á su plegaria, oh Jehová Dios mío, oyendo [propicio] el clamor y oración que tu siervo hace hoy delante de ti:
28 Yet have respect for the prayer of your servant and for his supplication, Yahweh my God, to listen to the cry and to the prayer which your servant prays before you today;
29 for Your eyes being open toward this house night and day, toward the place of which You have said, My Name is there; to listen to the prayer which Your servant prays toward this place.
29 that your eyes may be open toward this house night and day, even toward the place of which you have said, ‘My name shall be there;’ to listen to the prayer which your servant prays toward this place.
30 Then You have listened to the supplication of Your servant, and of Your people Israel, which they pray toward this place; indeed, You listen in the place of Your dwelling, in the heavens—and You have listened, and have forgiven, 30 Oye pues la oración de tu siervo, y de tu pueblo Israel; cuando oraren en este lugar, también tú lo oirás en el lugar de tu habitación, desde los cielos: que oigas y perdones.
30 Listen to the supplication of your servant, and of your people Israel, when they pray toward this place. Yes, hear in heaven, your dwelling place; and when you hear, forgive.
31 that which a man sins against his neighbor, and he has lifted up an oath on him to cause him to swear, and the oath has come in before Your altar in this house, 31 Cuando alguno hubiere pecado contra su prójimo, y le tomaren juramento haciéndole jurar, y viniere el juramento delante de tu altar en esta casa;
31 “If a man sins against his neighbor, and an oath is laid on him to cause him to swear, and he comes and swears before your altar in this house,
32 then You hear in the heavens, and have done, and have judged Your servants, to declare wicked the wicked, to put his way on his [own] head, and to declare righteous the righteous, to give him according to his righteousness.
32 then hear in heaven, and act, and judge your servants, condemning the wicked, to bring his way on his own head, and justifying the righteous, to give him according to his righteousness.
33 In Your people Israel being struck before an enemy, because they sin against You, and they have turned back to You, and have confessed Your Name, and prayed, and made supplication to You in this house, 33 Cuando tu pueblo Israel hubiere caído delante de sus enemigos, por haber pecado contra ti, y á ti se volvieren, y confesaren tu nombre, y oraren, y te rogaren y suplicaren en esta casa;
33 “When your people Israel are struck down before the enemy because they have sinned against you, if they turn again to you and confess your name, and pray and make supplication to you in this house,
34 then you hear in the heavens, and have forgiven the sin of Your people Israel, and brought them back to the ground that You gave to their fathers.
34 then hear in heaven, and forgive the sin of your people Israel, and bring them again to the land which you gave to their fathers.
35 In the heavens being restrained, and there is no rain, because they sin against You, and they have prayed toward this place, and confessed Your Name, and turn back from their sin, for You afflict them, 35 Cuando el cielo se cerrare, y no lloviere, por haber ellos pecado contra ti, y te rogaren en este lugar, y confesaren tu nombre, y se volvieren del pecado, cuando los hubieres afligido;
35 “When the sky is shut up and there is no rain because they have sinned against you, if they pray toward this place and confess your name, and turn from their sin when you afflict them,
36 then You hear in the heavens, and have forgiven the sin of Your servants, and of Your people Israel, for You direct them [to] the good way in which they go, and have given rain on Your land which You have given to Your people for inheritance.
36 then hear in heaven, and forgive the sin of your servants, and of your people Israel, when you teach them the good way in which they should walk; and send rain on your land which you have given to your people for an inheritance.
37 Famine—when it is in the land; pestilence—when it is [in the land]; blasting, mildew, locust; caterpillar—when it is [in the land]; when its enemy has distressed it in the land [in] its gates, any plague, any sickness— 37 Cuando en la tierra hubiere hambre, ó pestilencia, ó tizoncillo, ó niebla, ó langosta, ó pulgón: si sus enemigos los tuvieren cercados en la tierra de su domicilio; cualquiera plaga ó enfermedad que sea;
37 “If there is famine in the land, if there is pestilence, if there is blight, mildew, locust or caterpillar; if their enemy besieges them in the land of their cities, whatever plague, whatever sickness there is,
38 any prayer, any supplication that [is] of any man of all Your people Israel, each who knows the plague of his own heart, and has spread his hands toward this house, 38 Toda oración y toda súplica que hiciere cualquier hombre, ó todo tu pueblo Israel, cuando cualquiera sintiere la plaga de su corazón, y extendiere sus manos á esta casa;
38 whatever prayer and supplication is made by any man, or by all your people Israel, who shall each know the plague of his own heart, and spread out his hands toward this house,
39 then You hear in the heavens, the settled place of Your dwelling, and have forgiven, and have done, and have given to each according to all his ways, whose heart You know (for You have known—You alone—the heart of all the sons of man), 39 Tú oirás en los cielos, en la habitación de tu morada, y perdonarás, y obrarás, y darás á cada uno conforme á sus caminos, cuyo corazón tú conoces; (porque sólo tú conoces el corazón de todos los hijos de los hombres;)
39 then hear in heaven, your dwelling place, and forgive, and act, and give to every man according to all his ways, whose heart you know (for you, even you only, know the hearts of all the children of men);
40 so that they fear You all the days that they are living on the face of the ground that You have given to our fathers.
40 that they may fear you all the days that they live in the land which you gave to our fathers.
41 And also, to the stranger who is not of Your people Israel, and has come from a far-off land for Your Name’s sake— 41 Asimismo el extranjero, que no es de tu pueblo Israel, que hubiere venido de lejanas tierras á causa de tu nombre,
41 “Moreover, concerning the foreigner, who is not of your people Israel, when he comes out of a far country for your name’s sake
42 for they hear of Your great Name, and of Your strong hand, and of Your outstretched arm—and he has come in and prayed toward this house, 42 (Porque oirán de tu grande nombre, y de tu mano fuerte, y de tu brazo extendido;) y viniere á orar á esta casa;
42 (for they shall hear of your great name and of your mighty hand and of your outstretched arm), when he comes and prays toward this house,
43 You hear in the heavens, the settled place of Your dwelling, and have done according to all that the stranger calls to You for, in order that all the peoples of the earth may know Your Name, to fear You like Your people Israel, and to know that Your Name has been called on this house which I have built.
43 hear in heaven, your dwelling place, and do according to all that the foreigner calls to you for; that all the peoples of the earth may know your name, to fear you, as do your people Israel, and that they may know that this house which I have built is called by your name.
44 When Your people go out to battle against its enemy, in the way that You send them, and they have prayed to YHWH [in] the way of the city which you have fixed on, and of the house which I have built for Your Name, 44 Si tu pueblo saliere en batalla contra sus enemigos por el camino que tú los enviares, y oraren á Jehová hacia la ciudad que tú elegiste, y hacia la casa que yo edifiqué á tu nombre,
44 “If your people go out to battle against their enemy, by whatever way you shall send them, and they pray to Yahweh toward the city which you have chosen, and toward the house which I have built for your name,
45 then You have heard their prayer and their supplication in the heavens, and have maintained their cause.
45 then hear in heaven their prayer and their supplication, and maintain their cause.
46 When they sin against You (for there is not a man who does not sin), and You have been angry with them, and have given them up before an enemy, and they have taken captive their captivity to the land of the enemy far off or near; 46 Si hubieren pecado contra ti, (porque no hay hombre que no peque) y tú estuvieres airado contra ellos, y los entregares delante del enemigo, para que los cautiven y lleven á tierra enemiga, sea lejos ó cerca,
46 If they sin against you (for there is no man who doesn’t sin), and you are angry with them and deliver them to the enemy, so that they carry them away captive to the land of the enemy, far off or near;
47 and they have turned [it] back to their heart in the land to where they have been taken captive, and have turned back, and made supplication to You in the land of their captors, saying, We have sinned and done perversely—we have done wickedly; 47 Y ellos volvieren en sí en la tierra donde fueren cautivos; si se convirtieren, y oraren á ti en la tierra de los que los cautivaron, y dijeren: Pecamos, hemos hecho lo malo, hemos cometido impiedad;
47 yet if they repent in the land where they are carried captive, and turn again, and make supplication to you in the land of those who carried them captive, saying, ‘We have sinned and have done perversely; we have dealt wickedly,’
48 indeed, they have turned back to You with all their heart and with all their soul, in the land of their enemies who have taken them captive, and have prayed to You [in] the way of their land, which You gave to their fathers, the city which You have chosen, and the house which I have built for Your Name: 48 Y si se convirtieren á ti de todo su corazón y de toda su alma, en la tierra de sus enemigos que los hubieren llevado cautivos, y oraren á ti hacia su tierra, que tú diste á sus padres, [hacia] la ciudad que tú elegiste y la casa que yo he edificado á tu nombre;
48 if they return to you with all their heart and with all their soul in the land of their enemies who carried them captive, and pray to you toward their land which you gave to their fathers, the city which you have chosen and the house which I have built for your name,
49 then You have heard in the heavens, the settled place of Your dwelling, their prayer and their supplication, and have maintained their cause, 49 Tú oirás en los cielos, en la habitación de tu morada, su oración y su súplica, y les harás derecho;
49 then hear their prayer and their supplication in heaven, your dwelling place, and maintain their cause;
50 and have forgiven Your people who have sinned against You, even all their transgressions which they have transgressed against You, and have given them mercies before their captors, and they have had mercy [on] them— 50 Y perdonarás á tu pueblo que había pecado contra ti, y todas sus infracciones con que se habrán contra ti rebelado; y harás que hayan de ellos misericordia los que los hubieren llevado cautivos:
50 and forgive your people who have sinned against you, and all their transgressions in which they have transgressed against you; and give them compassion before those who carried them captive, that they may have compassion on them
51 for they [are] Your people and Your inheritance, whom You brought out of Egypt, out of the midst of the furnace of iron— 51 Porque ellos son tu pueblo y tu heredad, que tú sacaste de Egipto, de en medio del horno de hierro.
51 (for they are your people and your inheritance, which you brought out of Egypt, from the middle of the iron furnace);
52 for Your eyes being open to the supplication of Your servant, and to the supplication of Your people Israel, to listen to them in all they call to You for; 52 Que tus ojos estén abiertos á la oración de tu siervo, y á la plegaria de tu pueblo Israel, para oirlos en todo aquello por lo que te invocaren:
52 that your eyes may be open to the supplication of your servant and to the supplication of your people Israel, to listen to them whenever they cry to you.
53 for You have separated them to Yourself for an inheritance, out of all the peoples of the earth, as You spoke by the hand of Your servant Moses, in Your bringing out our fathers from Egypt, O Lord YHWH.” 53 Pues que tú los apartaste para ti por tu heredad de todos los pueblos de la tierra, como lo dijiste por mano de Moisés tu siervo, cuando sacaste á nuestros padres de Egipto, oh Señor Jehová.
53 For you separated them from among all the peoples of the earth to be your inheritance, as you spoke by Moses your servant, when you brought our fathers out of Egypt, Lord Yahweh.”
54 And it comes to pass, at Solomon’s finishing to pray to YHWH all this prayer and supplication, he has risen from before the altar of YHWH, from bending on his knees and [having] his hands spread out to the heavens, 54 Y fué, que como acabó Salomón de hacer á Jehová toda esta oración y súplica, levantóse de estar de rodillas delante del altar de Jehová con sus manos extendidas al cielo;
54 It was so, that when Solomon had finished praying all this prayer and supplication to Yahweh, he arose from before Yahweh’s altar, from kneeling on his knees with his hands spread out toward heaven.
55 and he stands and blesses all the assembly of Israel [with] a loud voice, saying, 55 Y puesto en pie, bendijo á toda la congregación de Israel, diciendo en voz alta:
55 He stood and blessed all the assembly of Israel with a loud voice, saying,
56 “Blessed [is] YHWH who has given rest to His people Israel, according to all that He has spoken; not [even] one word has fallen of all His good word, which He spoke by the hand of His servant Moses. 56 Bendito sea Jehová, que ha dado reposo á su pueblo Israel, conforme á todo lo que él había dicho; ninguna palabra de todas sus promesas que expresó por Moisés su siervo, ha faltado.
56 “Blessed be Yahweh, who has given rest to his people Israel, according to all that he promised. There has not failed one word of all his good promise, which he promised by Moses his servant.
57 Our God YHWH is with us as He has been with our fathers; He does not forsake us nor leave us; 57 Sea con nosotros Jehová nuestro Dios, como fué con nuestros padres; y no nos desampare, ni nos deje;
57 May Yahweh our God be with us as he was with our fathers. Let him not leave us or forsake us,
58 to incline our heart to Himself, to walk in all His ways, and to keep His commands, and His statutes, and His judgments, which He commanded our fathers; 58 Incline nuestro corazón hacia sí, para que andemos en todos sus caminos, y guardemos sus mandamientos y sus estatutos y sus derechos, los cuales mandó á nuestros padres.
58 that he may incline our hearts to him, to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, his statutes, and his ordinances, which he commanded our fathers.
59 and these, my words, with which I have made supplication before YHWH, are near to our God YHWH by day and by night, to maintain the cause of His servant, and the cause of His people Israel, the matter of a day in its day, 59 Y que estas mis palabras con que he orado delante de Jehová, estén cerca de Jehová nuestro Dios de día y de noche, para que él proteja la causa de su siervo, y de su pueblo Israel, cada cosa en su tiempo;
59 Let these my words, with which I have made supplication before Yahweh, be near to Yahweh our God day and night, that he may maintain the cause of his servant and the cause of his people Israel, as every day requires;
60 that all the peoples of the earth may know that He, YHWH, [is] God; there is none else; 60 A fin de que todos los pueblos de la tierra sepan que Jehová es Dios, y que no hay otro.
60 that all the peoples of the earth may know that Yahweh himself is God. There is no one else.
61 and your heart has been perfect with our God YHWH, to walk in His statutes, and to keep His commands, as [at] this day.” 61 Sea pues perfecto vuestro corazón para con Jehová nuestro Dios, andando en sus estatutos, y guardando sus mandamientos, como el día de hoy.
61 “Let your heart therefore be perfect with Yahweh our God, to walk in his statutes, and to keep his commandments, as it is today.”
62 And the king and all Israel with him are sacrificing a sacrifice before YHWH; 62 Entonces el rey, y todo Israel con él, sacrificaron víctimas delante de Jehová.
62 The king, and all Israel with him, offered sacrifice before Yahweh.
63 and Solomon sacrifices the sacrifice of peace-offerings, which he has sacrificed to YHWH: twenty-two thousand oxen and one hundred and twenty thousand sheep; and the king and all the sons of Israel dedicate the house of YHWH. 63 Y sacrificó Salomón por sacrificios pacíficos, los cuales ofreció á Jehová, veinte y dos mil bueyes, y ciento veinte mil ovejas.
63 Solomon offered for the sacrifice of peace offerings, which he offered to Yahweh, twenty two thousand head of cattle and one hundred twenty thousand sheep. So the king and all the children of Israel dedicated Yahweh’s house.
64 On that day the king has sanctified the middle of the court that [is] before the house of YHWH, for he has made the burnt-offering, and the present, and the fat of the peace-offerings there; for the altar of bronze that [is] before YHWH [is] too small to contain the burnt-offering, and the present, and the fat of the peace-offerings.
64 The same day the king made the middle of the court holy that was before Yahweh’s house; for there he offered the burnt offering, the meal offering, and the fat of the peace offerings, because the bronze altar that was before Yahweh was too little to receive the burnt offering, the meal offering, and the fat of the peace offerings.
65 And Solomon makes, at that time, the festival—and all Israel with him, a great assembly from the entering in of Hamath to the Brook of Egypt—before our God YHWH, [for] seven days and seven [more] days—fourteen days.
65 So Solomon held the feast at that time, and all Israel with him, a great assembly, from the entrance of Hamath to the brook of Egypt, before Yahweh our God, seven days and seven more days, even fourteen days.
66 On the eighth day he has sent the people away, and they bless the king, and go to their tents, rejoicing and glad of heart for all the good that YHWH has done to His servant David, and to His people Israel.
66 On the eighth day he sent the people away; and they blessed the king, and went to their tents joyful and glad in their hearts for all the goodness that Yahweh had shown to David his servant, and to Israel his people.
