1 Ουαί, γη σκιάζουσα διά των πτερύγων, η πέραν των ποταμών της Αιθιοπίας,
1 ¡AY de la tierra que hace sombra con las alas, que está tras los ríos de Etiopía;
1 Ah, the land of the rustling of wings, which is beyond the rivers of Ethiopia;
2 η εξαποστέλλουσα πρέσβεις διά θαλάσσης και με πλοία σπάρτινα επί των υδάτων. Υπάγετε, ταχύδρομοι αγγελιαφόροι, προς έθνος διηρπαγμένον και κατεσπαραγμένον, προς λαόν τρομερόν από της αρχής αυτού έως της σήμερον, έθνος μεμετρημένον και καταπεπατημένον, του οποίου την γην διήρπασαν οι ποταμοί.
2 Que envía mensajeros por la mar, y en navíos de junco sobre las aguas! Andad, ligeros mensajeros, á la gente tirada y repelada, al pueblo asombroso desde su principio y después; gente harta de esperar y hollada, cuya tierra destruyeron los ríos.
2 that sends ambassadors by the sea, even in vessels of papyrus on the waters, saying, “Go, you swift messengers, to a nation tall and smooth, to a people awesome from their beginning onward, a nation that measures out and treads down, whose land the rivers divide!”
3 Πάντες οι κάτοικοι του κόσμου και οι ενοικούντες επί της γης, βλέπετε, όταν υψωθή σημαία επί τα όρη· και ακούσατε, όταν εκπεμφθή φωνή σάλπιγγος.
3 Vosotros, todos los moradores del mundo y habitantes de la tierra, cuando levantará bandera en los montes, la veréis; y oiréis cuando tocará trompeta.
3 All you inhabitants of the world, and you dwellers on the earth, when a banner is lifted up on the mountains, look! When the trumpet is blown, listen!
4 Διότι ούτως είπε Κύριος προς εμέ· Θέλω ησυχάσει και θέλω επιβλέψει εις το κατοικητήριόν μου, ως καύσων λαμπρότερος του φωτός, ως νεφέλη δρόσου εν τω καύσωνι του θέρους.
4 Porque Jehová me dijo así: Reposaréme, y miraré desde mi morada, como sol claro después de la lluvia, como nube de rocío en el calor de la tierra.
4 For Yahweh said to me, “I will be still, and I will see in my dwelling place, like clear heat in sunshine, like a cloud of dew in the heat of harvest.”
5 Διότι πριν του θέρους, όταν το βλάστημα γείνη τέλειον και η αγουρίδα ωριμάση εκ του άνθους, θέλει κόψει τους βλαστούς διά κλαδευτηρίων και τας κληματίδας αποκόψας θέλει αφαιρέσει.
5 Porque antes de la siega, cuando el fruto fuere perfecto, y pasada la flor fueren madurando los frutos, entonces podará con podaderas los ramitos, y cortará y quitará las ramas.
5 For before the harvest, when the blossom is over, and the flower becomes a ripening grape, he will cut off the sprigs with pruning hooks, and he will cut down and take away the spreading branches.
6 Θέλουσιν εγκαταλειφθή ομού διά τα όρνεα των βουνών και διά τα θηρία της γής· και τα όρνεα θέλουσι περάσει το θέρος επ' αυτούς, και πάντα τα θηρία της γης θέλουσι διαχειμάσει επ' αυτούς.
6 Y serán dejados todos á las aves de los montes, y á las bestias de la tierra; sobre ellos tendrán el verano las aves, é invernarán todas las bestias de la tierra.
6 They will be left together for the ravenous birds of the mountains, and for the animals of the earth. The ravenous birds will eat them in the summer, and all the animals of the earth will eat them in the winter.
7 Εν εκείνω τω καιρώ θέλει φερθή δώρον προς τον Κύριον των δυνάμεων εκ λαού διηρπαγμένου και κατεσπαραγμένου και εκ λαού τρομερού από της αρχής αυτού έως της σήμερον, έθνους μεμετρημένου και καταπεπατημένου, του οποίου την γην διήρπασαν οι ποταμοί, εις τον τόπον του ονόματος του Κυρίου των δυνάμεων, το όρος Σιών.
7 En aquel tiempo será traído presente á Jehová de los ejércitos, el pueblo tirado y repelado, pueblo asombroso desde su principio y después; gente harta de esperar y hollada, cuya tierra destruyeron los ríos; al lugar del nombre de Jehová de los ejércitos, al monte de Sión.
7 In that time, a present will be brought to Yahweh of Armies from a people tall and smooth, even from a people awesome from their beginning onward, a nation that measures out and treads down, whose land the rivers divide, to the place of the name of Yahweh of Armies, Mount Zion.
