1 Και ανέβη άγγελος Κυρίου από Γαλγάλων εις Βοκίμ και είπε, Σας ανεβίβασα εξ Αιγύπτου και σας έφερα εις την γην την οποίαν ώμοσα προς τους πατέρας σας· και είπα, Δεν θέλω αθετήσει την προς εσάς διαθήκην μου εις τον αιώνα·
1 Y El ángel de Jehová subió de Gilgal á Bochîm, y dijo: Yo os saqué de Egipto, y os introduje en la tierra de la cual había jurado á vuestros padres; y dije: No invalidaré jamás mi pacto con vosotros;
1 Yahweh’s angel came up from Gilgal to Bochim. He said, “I brought you out of Egypt, and have brought you to the land which I swore to give your fathers. I said, ‘I will never break my covenant with you.
2 και σεις δεν θέλετε κάμει συνθήκην προς τους κατοίκους του τόπου τούτου· τα θυσιαστήρια αυτών θέλετε καταστρέψει. Δεν υπηκούσατε όμως εις την φωνήν μου· διά τι επράξατε τούτο;
2 Con tal que vosotros no hagáis alianza con los moradores de aquesta tierra, cuyos altares habéis de derribar: mas vosotros no habéis atendido á mi voz: ¿por qué habéis hecho esto?
2 You shall make no covenant with the inhabitants of this land. You shall break down their altars.’ But you have not listened to my voice. Why have you done this?
3 Διά τούτο και εγώ είπα, Δεν θέλω εκδιώξει αυτούς απ' έμπροσθέν σας· αλλά θέλουσιν είσθαι εναντίοι σας, και οι θεοί αυτών θέλουσιν είσθαι παγίς εις εσάς.
3 Por tanto yo también dije: No los echaré de delante de vosotros, sino que os serán por [azote para] vuestros costados, y sus dioses por tropiezo.
3 Therefore I also said, ‘I will not drive them out from before you; but they shall be in your sides, and their gods will be a snare to you.’”
4 Και καθώς ελάλησεν ο άγγελος του Κυρίου τους λόγους τούτους προς πάντας τους υιούς Ισραήλ, ο λαός ύψωσε την φωνήν αυτού και έκλαυσε.
4 Y como el ángel de Jehová habló estas palabras á todos los hijos de Israel, el pueblo lloró en alta voz.
4 When Yahweh’s angel spoke these words to all the children of Israel, the people lifted up their voice and wept.
5 Και εκάλεσαν το όνομα του τόπου εκείνου Βοκίμ· και εθυσίασαν εκεί εις τον Κύριον.
5 Y llamaron por nombre aquel lugar Bochîm: y sacrificaron allí á Jehová.
5 They called the name of that place Bochim, and they sacrificed there to Yahweh.
6 Και ότε απέλυσε τον λαόν ο Ιησούς, οι υιοί Ισραήλ υπήγον έκαστος εις την κληρονομίαν αυτού, διά να κατακληρονομήσωσι την γην.
6 Porque ya Josué había despedido al pueblo, y los hijos de Israel se habían ido cada uno á su heredad para poseerla.
6 Now when Joshua had sent the people away, the children of Israel each went to his inheritance to possess the land.
7 Και ελάτρευσαν ο λαός τον Κύριον πάσας τας ημέρας του Ιησού και πάσας τας ημέρας των πρεσβυτέρων, οίτινες επέζησαν μετά τον Ιησούν και είδον πάντα τα έργα τα μεγάλα του Κυρίου, όσα έκαμεν υπέρ του Ισραήλ.
7 Y el pueblo había servido á Jehová todo el tiempo de Josué, y todo el tiempo de los ancianos que vivieron largos días después de Josué, los cuales habían visto todas las grandes obras de Jehová, que él había hecho por Israel.
7 The people served Yahweh all the days of Joshua, and all the days of the elders who outlived Joshua, who had seen all the great work of Yahweh that he had worked for Israel.
8 Και ετελεύτησεν Ιησούς, ο υιός του Ναυή, ο δούλος του Κυρίου, ηλικίας εκατόν δέκα ετών.
8 Y murió Josué hijo de Nun, siervo de Jehová, siendo de ciento y diez años.
8 Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of Yahweh, died, being one hundred ten years old.
9 Και έθαψαν αυτόν εις το όριον της κληρονομίας αυτού εν Θαμνάθ-αρές, εν τω όρει Εφραΐμ, κατά το βόρειον μέρος του όρους Γαάς.
9 Y enterráronlo en el término de su heredad en Timnath-sera, en el monte de Ephraim, al norte del monte de Gaas.
9 They buried him in the border of his inheritance in Timnath Heres, in the hill country of Ephraim, on the north of the mountain of Gaash.
10 Και πάσα έτι η γενεά εκείνη προσετέθησαν εις τους πατέρας αυτών· και εσηκώθη άλλη γενεά μετ' αυτούς, ήτις δεν εγνώρισε τον Κύριον ουδέ τα έργα, τα οποία έκαμεν υπέρ του Ισραήλ.
10 Y toda aquella generación fué también recogida con sus padres. Y levantóse después de ellos otra generación, que no conocían á Jehová, ni la obra que él había hecho por Israel.
10 After all that generation were gathered to their fathers, another generation arose after them who didn’t know Yahweh, nor the work which he had done for Israel.
11 Και έπραξαν οι υιοί Ισραήλ πονηρά ενώπιον του Κυρίου και ελάτρευσαν τους Βααλείμ·
11 Y los hijos de Israel hicieron lo malo en ojos de Jehová, y sirvieron á los Baales:
11 The children of Israel did that which was evil in Yahweh’s sight, and served the Baals.
12 και εγκατέλιπον Κύριον τον Θεόν των πατέρων αυτών, τον εξαγαγόντα αυτούς εκ γης Αιγύπτου, και υπήγον κατόπιν άλλων θεών, εκ των θεών των λαών των πέριξ αυτών, και προσεκύνησαν αυτούς και παρώργισαν τον Κύριον.
12 Y dejaron á Jehová el Dios de sus padres, que los había sacado de la tierra de Egipto, y fuéronse tras otros dioses, los dioses de los pueblos que estaban en sus alrededores, á los cuales adoraron; y provocaron á ira á Jehová.
12 They abandoned Yahweh, the God of their fathers, who brought them out of the land of Egypt, and followed other gods, of the gods of the peoples who were around them, and bowed themselves down to them; and they provoked Yahweh to anger.
13 Και εγκατέλιπον τον Κύριον και ελάτρευσαν τον Βάαλ και τας Ασταρώθ.
13 Y dejaron á Jehová, y adoraron á Baal y á Astaroth.
13 They abandoned Yahweh, and served Baal and the Ashtaroth.
14 Και εξήφθη ο θυμός του Κυρίου κατά του Ισραήλ, και παρέδωκεν αυτούς εις την χείρα των λεηλατιστών, και ελεηλάτησαν αυτούς· και επώλησεν αυτούς εις την χείρα των εχθρών αυτών κύκλω, ώστε δεν ηδυνήθησαν πλέον να σταθώσι κατά πρόσωπον των εχθρών αυτών.
14 Y el furor de Jehová se encendió contra Israel, el cual los entregó en manos de robadores que los despojaron, y los vendió en manos de sus enemigos de alrededor: y no pudieron parar más delante de sus enemigos.
14 Yahweh’s anger burned against Israel, and he delivered them into the hands of raiders who plundered them. He sold them into the hands of their enemies all around, so that they could no longer stand before their enemies.
15 Πανταχού όπου εξήρχοντο, η χειρ του Κυρίου ήτο εναντίον αυτών προς κακόν, καθώς ελάλησεν ο Κύριος και καθώς ώμοσεν ο Κύριος προς αυτούς· και ήλθον εις μεγάλην αμηχανίαν.
15 Por donde quiera que salían, la mano de Jehová era contra ellos para mal, como Jehová había dicho, y como Jehová se lo había jurado; así los afligió en gran manera.
15 Wherever they went out, Yahweh’s hand was against them for evil, as Yahweh had spoken, and as Yahweh had sworn to them; and they were very distressed.
16 Τότε ανέστησεν ο Κύριος κριτάς, οίτινες έσωσαν αυτούς εκ της χειρός των λεηλατούντων αυτούς.
16 Mas Jehová suscitó jueces que los librasen de mano de los que los despojaban.
16 Yahweh raised up judges, who saved them out of the hand of those who plundered them.
17 Πλην ουδέ εις τους κριτάς αυτών υπήκουσαν, αλλ' επόρνευσαν κατόπιν άλλων θεών και προσεκύνησαν αυτούς· εξέκλιναν ταχέως από της οδού, εις την οποίαν περιεπάτησαν οι πατέρες αυτών υπακούοντες εις τας εντολάς του Κυρίου· δεν έκαμον ούτω.
17 Y tampoco oyeron á sus jueces, sino que fornicaron tras dioses ajenos, á los cuales adoraron: apartáronse bien presto del camino en que anduvieron sus padres obedeciendo á los mandamientos de Jehová; [mas] ellos no hicieron así.
17 Yet they didn’t listen to their judges; for they prostituted themselves to other gods, and bowed themselves down to them. They quickly turned away from the way in which their fathers walked, obeying Yahweh’s commandments. They didn’t do so.
18 Και ότε ανέστησεν ο Κύριος εις αυτούς κριτάς, τότε ο Κύριος ήτο μετά του κριτού και έσωζεν αυτούς εκ της χειρός των εχθρών αυτών καθ' όλας τας ημέρας του κριτού· διότι εσπλαγχνίσθη ο Κύριος εις τους στεναγμούς αυτών τους εξ αιτίας των καταθλιβόντων αυτούς και καταπιεζόντων αυτούς.
18 Y cuando Jehová les suscitaba jueces, Jehová era con el juez, y librábalos de mano de los enemigos todo el tiempo de aquel juez: porque Jehová se arrepentía por sus gemidos á causa de los que los oprimían y afligían.
18 When Yahweh raised up judges for them, then Yahweh was with the judge, and saved them out of the hand of their enemies all the days of the judge; for it grieved Yahweh because of their groaning by reason of those who oppressed them and troubled them.
19 Ότε δε απέθνησκεν ο κριτής, επέστρεφον και διεφθείροντο χειρότερα παρά τους πατέρας αυτών, υπάγοντες κατόπιν άλλων θεών, διά να λατρεύωσιν αυτούς και να προσκυνώσιν αυτούς· δεν έπαυον από των πράξεων αυτών ουδέ από της οδού αυτών της διεστραμμένης.
19 Mas en muriendo el juez, ellos se tornaban, y se corrompían más que sus padres, siguiendo dioses ajenos para servirles, é inclinándose delante de ellos; y nada disminuían de sus obras, ni de su duro camino.
19 But when the judge was dead, they turned back, and dealt more corruptly than their fathers in following other gods to serve them and to bow down to them. They didn’t cease what they were doing, or give up their stubborn ways.
20 Και εξήφθη ο θυμός του Κυρίου κατά του Ισραήλ, και είπεν, Επειδή ο λαός ούτος παρέβη την διαθήκην μου, την οποίαν προσέταξα εις τους πατέρας αυτών, και δεν υπήκουσεν εις την φωνήν μου·
20 Y la ira de Jehová se encendió contra Israel, y dijo: Pues que esta gente traspasa mi pacto que ordené á sus padres, y no obedecen mi voz,
20 Yahweh’s anger burned against Israel; and he said, “Because this nation transgressed my covenant which I commanded their fathers, and has not listened to my voice,
21 και εγώ δεν θέλω εκδιώξει πλέον απ' έμπροσθεν αυτών ουδέν εκ των εθνών, τα οποία αφήκεν ο Ιησούς ότε ετελεύτησε,
21 Tampoco yo echaré más de delante de ellos á ninguna de aquestas gentes que dejó Josué cuando murió;
21 I also will no longer drive out any of the nations that Joshua left when he died from before them;
22 διά να δοκιμάσω τον Ισραήλ διά μέσου αυτών, εάν φυλάττωσι την οδόν του Κυρίου, περιπατούντες εν αυτή, καθώς εφύλαξαν αυτήν οι πατέρες αυτών, ή ουχί.
22 Para que por ellas probara yo á Israel, si guardarían ellos el camino de Jehová andando por él, como sus padres lo guardaron, ó no.
22 that by them I may test Israel, to see if they will keep Yahweh’s way to walk therein, as their fathers kept it, or not.”
23 Και αφήκε Κύριος τα έθνη ταύτα, χωρίς να εκδιώξη ταχέως αυτά· ουδέ παρέδωκεν αυτά εις την χείρα του Ιησού.
23 Por esto dejó Jehová aquellas gentes, y no las desarraigó luego, ni las entregó en mano de Josué.
23 So Yahweh left those nations, without driving them out hastily. He didn’t deliver them into Joshua’s hand.
