Psalm 102 in LXX = Psalm 103 in RV1909.

LXX Brenton's Greek Septuagint
RV1909 Reina-Valera 1909
103:1 Salmo de David. BENDICE, alma mía, á Jehová; y [bendigan] todas mis entrañas su santo nombre.
103:3 El es quien perdona todas tus iniquidades, el que sana todas tus dolencias;
103:4 El que rescata del hoyo tu vida, el que te corona de favores y misericordias;
103:17 Mas la misericordia de Jehová desde el siglo y hasta el siglo sobre los que le temen, y su justicia sobre los hijos de los hijos;

What the Fathers said

Passages from the Church Fathers that expound or quote this chapter, verbatim from the public-domain Schaff edition (19th-century English translations). Verse numbers below follow the Hebrew/English numbering: 103.

How these were chosen

“Commentary” is the opening of a homily or exposition on this chapter (John Chrysostom’s homilies, Augustine’s tractates, sermons and expositions of the Psalms). “Quotes” are sentences where the edition’s own footnotes identify a quotation of a verse here, kept only when the wording matches the verse. Only works whose authorship is not in doubt are used. Psalms follow the Hebrew/English numbering (Augustine numbers them as the Septuagint does: his Psalm 50 is Psalm 51 here).

    Behold, one poor man prayeth, and prayeth not in silence. We may therefore hear him, and see who he is: whether it be not perchance He, of whom the Apostle saith, "Though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that ye through His poverty might be rich." If it is He, then, how is He poor?

    For the tradition that has been given us by the quickening grace must remain for ever inviolate.
