Psalm 113 in LXX = Psalm 114 and Psalm 115 in RV1909.

LXX Brenton's Greek Septuagint
RV1909 Reina-Valera 1909
114:2 Judá fué su consagrada heredad, Israel su señorío.
5 Τί σοι ἐστὶ θάλασσα ὅτι ἔφυγες; καὶ σὺ Ἰορδάνη ὅτι ἐστράφης εἰς τὰ ὀπίσω;
114:5 ¿Qué tuviste, oh mar, que huiste? ¿y tú, oh Jordán, que te volviste atrás?
6 Τὰ ὄρη ὅτι ἐσκίρτησατε ὡσεὶ κριοί; καὶ οἱ βουνοὶ ὡς ἀρνία προβάτων;
114:7 A la presencia del Señor tiembla la tierra, á la presencia del Dios de Jacob;
10 μή ποτε εἴπωσι τὰ ἔθνη, ποῦ ἐστιν ὁ Θεὸς αὐτῶν;
115:5 Tienen boca, mas no hablarán; tienen ojos, mas no verán;
115:6 Orejas tienen, mas no oirán; tienen narices, mas no olerán;
115:7 Manos tienen, mas no palparán; tienen pies, mas no andarán; no hablarán con su garganta.
115:14 Acrecentará Jehová [bendición] sobre vosotros; sobre vosotros y sobre vuestros hijos.
115:17 No alabarán los muertos á JAH, ni cuantos descienden al silencio;
Aleluya.

What the Fathers said

Passages from the Church Fathers that expound or quote this chapter, verbatim from the public-domain Schaff edition (19th-century English translations). Verse numbers below follow the Hebrew/English numbering: 114, 115.

How these were chosen

“Commentary” is the opening of a homily or exposition on this chapter (John Chrysostom’s homilies, Augustine’s tractates, sermons and expositions of the Psalms). “Quotes” are sentences where the edition’s own footnotes identify a quotation of a verse here, kept only when the wording matches the verse. Only works whose authorship is not in doubt are used. Psalms follow the Hebrew/English numbering (Augustine numbers them as the Septuagint does: his Psalm 50 is Psalm 51 here).
