DK Serbian Bible: Daničić–Karadžić (Cyrillic)
RV1909 Reina-Valera 1909
1 PUES que Cristo ha padecido por nosotros en la carne, vosotros también estad armados del mismo pensamiento: que el que ha padecido en la carne, cesó de pecado;
9 будите гостољубиви међу собом без мрмљања;
12 Љубазни! Не чудите се врућини која вам се догађа за кушање ваше, као да вам се шта ново догађа;
12 Carísimos, no os maravilléis cuando sois examinados por fuego, lo cual se hace para vuestra prueba, como si alguna cosa peregrina os aconteciese;
15 Само да не пострада који од вас као крвник, или као лупеж, или као злочинац, или као онај који се меша у туђе послове;

What the Fathers said

Passages from the Church Fathers that expound or quote this chapter, verbatim from the public-domain Schaff edition (19th-century English translations).

How these were chosen

“Commentary” is the opening of a homily or exposition on this chapter (John Chrysostom’s homilies, Augustine’s tractates, sermons and expositions of the Psalms). “Quotes” are sentences where the edition’s own footnotes identify a quotation of a verse here, kept only when the wording matches the verse. Only works whose authorship is not in doubt are used. Psalms follow the Hebrew/English numbering (Augustine numbers them as the Septuagint does: his Psalm 50 is Psalm 51 here).
