DK Serbian Bible: Daničić–Karadžić (Cyrillic)
RV1909 Reina-Valera 1909
3 [A saber], que por revelación me fué declarado el misterio, como antes he escrito en breve;
5 која се у другим нараштајима не каза синовима човечијим, како се сад откри светим Његовим апостолима и пророцима Духом Светим;
9 и да откријем свима шта је служба тајне од постања света сакривене у Богу, који је саздао све кроз Исуса Христа;
17 да се Христос усели вером у срца ваша, да будете у љубави укорењени и утемељени;

What the Fathers said

Passages from the Church Fathers that expound or quote this chapter, verbatim from the public-domain Schaff edition (19th-century English translations).

How these were chosen

“Commentary” is the opening of a homily or exposition on this chapter (John Chrysostom’s homilies, Augustine’s tractates, sermons and expositions of the Psalms). “Quotes” are sentences where the edition’s own footnotes identify a quotation of a verse here, kept only when the wording matches the verse. Only works whose authorship is not in doubt are used. Psalms follow the Hebrew/English numbering (Augustine numbers them as the Septuagint does: his Psalm 50 is Psalm 51 here).

    We relate how it came to pass,--she leapeth for joy, and triumpheth, and blesseth Thee, who art "able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think; for she perceived Thee to have given her more for me than she used to ask by her pitiful and most doleful groanings.
