1 Ουαί εις τους καταβαίνοντας εις Αίγυπτον διά βοήθειαν και επιστηριζομένους επί ίππους και θαρρούντας επί αμάξας, διότι είναι πολυάριθμοι· και επί ιππείς, διότι είναι πολύ δυνατοί· και δεν αποβλέπουσιν εις τον Άγιον του Ισραήλ και τον Κύριον δεν εκζητούσι.
1 ¡AY de los que descienden á Egipto por ayuda, y confían en caballos; y su esperanza ponen en carros, porque son muchos, y en caballeros, porque son valientes; y no miraron al Santo de Israel, ni buscaron á Jehová!
1 Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help, and rely on horses, and trust in chariots because they are many, and in horsemen because they are very strong, but they don’t look to the Holy One of Israel, and they don’t seek Yahweh!
2 Πλην αυτός είναι σοφός και θέλει επιφέρει κακά και δεν θέλει ανακαλέσει τους λόγους αυτού, αλλά θέλει σηκωθή επί τους οίκους των κακοποιών και επί την βοήθειαν των εργαζομένων την ανομίαν.
2 Mas él también es sabio, y traerá el mal, y no retirará sus palabras. Levantaráse pues contra la casa de los malignos, y contra el auxilio de los obradores de iniquidad.
2 Yet he also is wise, and will bring disaster, and will not call back his words, but will arise against the house of the evildoers, and against the help of those who work iniquity.
3 Οι δε Αιγύπτιοι είναι άνθρωποι και ουχί Θεός· και οι ίπποι αυτών σάρκες και ουχί πνεύμα. Όταν ο Κύριος εκτείνη την χείρα αυτού, και ο βοηθών θέλει προσκόψει και ο βοηθούμενος θέλει πέσει και πάντες ομού θέλουσιν απολεσθή.
3 Y los Egipcios hombres son, y no Dios; y sus caballos carne, y no espíritu: de manera que en extendiendo Jehová su mano, caerá el ayudador, y caerá el ayudado, y todos ellos desfallecerán á una.
3 Now the Egyptians are men, and not God; and their horses flesh, and not spirit. When Yahweh stretches out his hand, both he who helps shall stumble, and he who is helped shall fall, and they all shall be consumed together.
4 Διότι ούτως ελάλησε Κύριος προς εμέ· Καθώς ο λέων και ο σκύμνος του λέοντος βρυχώμενος επί το θήραμα αυτού, αν και συνήχθη εναντίον αυτού πλήθος βοσκών, δεν πτοείται εις την φωνήν αυτών ουδέ συστέλλεται εις τον θόρυβον αυτών· ούτως ο Κύριος των δυνάμεων θέλει καταβή διά να πολεμήση υπέρ του όρους της Σιών και υπέρ των λόφων αυτής.
4 Porque Jehová me dijo á mí de esta manera: Como el león y el cachorro del león brama sobre su presa, y si se llega contra él cuadrilla de pastores, no temerá por sus voces, ni se acobardará por el tropel de ellos: así Jehová de los ejércitos descenderá á pelear por el monte de Sión, y por su collado.
4 For Yahweh says to me, “As the lion and the young lion growling over his prey, if a multitude of shepherds is called together against him, will not be dismayed at their voice, nor abase himself for their noise, so Yahweh of Armies will come down to fight on Mount Zion and on its heights.
5 Ως πτηνά διαπετώμενα επί τους νεοσσούς, ούτως ο Κύριος των δυνάμεων θέλει υπερασπισθή την Ιερουσαλήμ, υπερασπιζόμενος και ελευθερόνων αυτήν, διαβαίνων και σώζων αυτήν.
5 Como las aves que vuelan, así amparará Jehová de los ejércitos á Jerusalem, amparando, librando, pasando, y salvando.
5 As birds hovering, so Yahweh of Armies will protect Jerusalem. He will protect and deliver it. He will pass over and preserve it.”
6 Επιστράφητε προς εκείνον, από του οποίου οι υιοί του Ισραήλ όλως απεστάτησαν.
6 Convertíos á aquel contra quien los hijos de Israel profundamente se rebelaron.
6 Return to him from whom you have deeply revolted, children of Israel.
7 Διότι εν εκείνη τη ημέρα πας άνθρωπος θέλει ρίψει τα αργυρά αυτού είδωλα και τα χρυσά αυτού είδωλα, τα οποία αι χείρές σας κατεσκεύασαν εις εσάς αμαρτίαν.
7 Porque en aquel día arrojará el hombre sus ídolos de plata, y sus ídolos de oro, que para vosotros han hecho vuestras manos pecadoras.
7 For in that day everyone shall cast away his idols of silver and his idols of gold—sin which your own hands have made for you.
8 Τότε ο Ασσύριος θέλει πέσει εν μαχαίρα ουχί ανδρός· και μάχαιρα ουχί ανθρώπου θέλει καταφάγει αυτόν· και θέλει φεύγει από προσώπου της μαχαίρας, και οι νέοι αυτού θέλουσιν είσθαι διά φόρον.
8 Entonces caerá el Assur por cuhillo, no de varón; y consumirálo espada, no de hombre; y huirá de la presencia de la espada, y sus mancebos serán tributarios.
8 “The Assyrian will fall by the sword, not of man; and the sword, not of mankind, shall devour him. He will flee from the sword, and his young men will become subject to forced labor.
9 Και από του φόβου θέλει παραδράμει το οχύρωμα αυτού, και οι αρχηγοί αυτού θέλουσι κατατρομάξει εις την σημαίαν, λέγει Κύριος, του οποίου το πυρ είναι εν Σιών και η κάμινος αυτού εν Ιερουσαλήμ.
9 Y de miedo pasará su fortaleza, y sus príncipes tendrán pavor de la bandera, dice Jehová, cuyo fuego está en Sión, y su horno en Jerusalem.
9 His rock will pass away by reason of terror, and his princes will be afraid of the banner,” says Yahweh, whose fire is in Zion, and his furnace in Jerusalem.
